Local favorite for years that we drive 25 minutes to get to at least twice a month. Everything is delicious, consistent, and reasonably priced. They've also got that great ICE!! Hope this place is here for years to come.

We wanted a nice place to eat on New Year's Eve day that served good food. Dos Charros delivered! The food is Tex Mex and delicious. The service was great and the ambiance set the atmosphere for a wonderful lunch with family! We enjoyed the Lobster Enchiladas, a tasty shrimp dish, and the Taco Bueno! Yum!

Friday night and the hubby and I were in the mood for some Fajitas. Dos Charros came through with ALL THE SMOKE! Chips and salsa were warm and bottomless. We ordered the Spicy Charros Especial which was Beef, Chicken, and Shrimp Fajitas that came with Beans, Rice, Pico, Guacamole, and Sour Cream. The corn Tortillas were thick and hearty. The perfect vessel to carry the smoking hot Fajitas straight to our mouths! The Beef was tender and well seasoned, while the chicken brought in just the right amount of heat. The shrimp was succulent and paired with the slightly Charred onions on the bottom of the platter put it all over the top! You really didn't need the accompaniments, but they were so good. The only thing that could have made it better, was if I had some butter to spread onto my Tortillas before filling them up! The portion size was enough for both of us the eat our fill and STILL had some leftover for home! O God we Thank You!(In my best Tabitha Brown voice) If your in the mood for some good Tex-Mex Fajitas? Check it out!

The Chile Relleno Del Mar was delicious, our waitress was Emily and she was very attentive when serving us. Also, the restaurant had a very modern design. I must say I was very impressed with my whole experience here at DOS Charros Restaurant.

Are their beans and rice vegetarian ? I know they have spinach avocado elchilada. Anything else?

No, I don't think their beans and rice are vegetarian. They probably use some fat and chicken stock. They do have avocado "pineda" enchiladas (ask for no chicken fajita meat), guacamole chalupas, and chile rellenos which you could probably ask them…

We were very pleasantly surprised. It's even better in my opinion. The people are very warm and friendly. The food is really delicious. I love that they bring not only good salsa with their fresh hot chips, but also a tomatillo sauce and a black bean dip. We've now eaten there several times. The taco meat has a nicely charred flavor. The tamales were very good. (I'm picky about my tamales. I've tried their ranchero sauce, chili con carne, and sour cream sauce. None of them disappoint. Their rice isn't dry like it is at many other Tex-Mex places. And their $5.00 all day frozen margaritas are worth it. We usually go for the lunch specials that run until 4:00. They don't have mole on the menu, yet. I'm looking forward to their future specials. In this day and age where it's hard to keep a restaurant open, I really hope this one survives. It's not fancy, but the food and service make it worth it. And I'm a picky person when it comes to spending money on food I don't make myself.

The service is CRAZY good. And if you're lucky enough to find a spot at the bar, you're in for an even better drink/food journey. Favorites: the carne asade and seafood chile relleno (w/Serrano queso). If your dining mate will split these two dishes with you, you're going to have the perfect meal. All their drinks are good, but among my favorites are the Mezcalita and La Diabla. If you're unsure, you can share your liquor/cocktail preference and the bartenders will serve you something delicious. Also, if you like things spicy, they have a creamy green salsa that is . You just have to ask. I can't wait to try their new location (mostly because I want to see how some of my favorite bartenders are doing over there). Sueño deserves all the success because they truly care about your experience from start to finish. Which reminds me, get the churros if you save room.

At no point did my server tell me that there would be an additional $2 charge for the substitution. Had he told me, I simply would have kept the rice and beans that came with the meal. When the bill arrived, I noticed the extra $2 charge and questioned it. Instead of simply acknowledging that the additional charge had not been communicated to me when I ordered, the server sent the manager over. The manager ultimately refunded the $2, but his attitude was unnecessarily rude. He told me that the menu explains there is a $2 upcharge. Regardless of what may be printed on the menu, when a customer specifically requests a substitution that carries an additional charge, I believe the server should clearly mention it when taking the order. This wasn't really about $2. It was about communication and customer service. A simple, "Just so you know, there's a $2 upcharge for the vegetables," would have prevented the entire issue. Instead, I left feeling like my concern was treated as an inconvenience rather than a reasonable customer-service issue. I will not be returning because of how I was treated.

For an entree I had a cheese enchilada and a chicken tinga enchilada with rice and beans. It was all so delicious. The chicken tinga was juicy and had excellent flavor. The cheese enchilada was great too, a very satisfying chili con carne goes so well with the melty cheese. Of course the rice and beans are never just rice and beans here- they were both delicious too- Pappasitos really has great attention to detail when it comes to developing scrumptious recipes. Today was her birthday (one of those that come every 10 years) and she wanted to go to Papasitos. I made reservations, checked the box that we were celebrating a BD. We arrived ahead of our reservation and had a little wait for a table. No problem. The young lady from the check in seated us and ask if we were celebrating anything. I told her that it was my wife's birthday, but she didn't want the full blown hooten hollering sombrero celebration. We waited 8-10 minutes before a server came to our table. He immediately apologized for the wait and said that he was helping out another waiter that was supposed to have our table. He took our drink order and soon returned with our drinks. To my surprise, he proceeded to take our food order. I thought he was temporarily helping out until the other server could catch up and take over. That wasn't the case. Ok, No problem so far. I'm giving 2 stars because the food came out super fast and hot and delicious. Then our server delivers hot flour tortillas.., all 3 of them. After each eating one taco, we were ready for another batch. Now this is where it started to go downhill. Several minutes go by and I could not grab his attention. I literally had to waive my hand in the air to flag him down across the restaurant. He finally looked my direction and soon delivered more tortillas. That was the last we saw of him. No checking on our table, no refills on our drinks, no nothing. After we finished our meal, we waited another 25 minutes to try to get his attention to close out our meal. He would never look our way. He was like a horse with blinders. Honestly, I think he forgot that he was our server OR MAYBE he saw us as 2 people and his gratuity was going to be smaller compared to the larger tables. Finally, I flagged down another server from another table and ask if he could close us out. He asked if we had a paper receipt, which we had not. He closed us out on his iPad. I didn't even get the chance to order my wife a dessert to celebrate the occasion. No bueno! Let's just say the service was abysmal and absolutely unacceptable. My man went MIA. It is questionable whether I will return to this establishment.
