This place is lively and vibrant today when I stopped in for a bite. Music loud and happy. The staff very kind and helpful which I always appreciate greatly. The fresh chips are served warm with a nice salsa and a puréed bean dip. That is what drew me back. lol I wasn't sure what to order. I was thinking enchiladas but the Happy Hour menu ultimately called to me. Street tacos. Apparently you can order 3/$9. They won't disappoint. Delicious. They offer a nice drink assortment of cocktails and fresh made horchata and Mexican Coca Cola. Everyone was enjoying their food and company. Happy with my choice here today. read more

We honestly crave the macho burritos here so we have become regulars. Tonight, our group ordered four macho burritos, a combo plate with a tamale and chile relleno, and a breakfast burrito (yes, for dinner!). The tortilla chips they served were nice and warm. They brought us a red salsa along with bean dip and we absolutely love their fresh salsa bar. The chilled salsa bar has a wonderful assortment to choose from with different heat levels (as mapped out on the white board above). As always, our dinners were amazing. Their chile verde is spot on every time, and the guys enjoyed their al pastor macho burritos. One person in our party was so excited she could order a breakfast burrito for dinner as that is her favorite at a Mexican restaurant. The tamale and chile relleno combo plate is our daughter's favorite here. And then... dessert was ordered! The churro comes with four pieces with a scoop of ice cream and whipped cream in the center. The best thing about the churro dessert was that it was served hot. Wow, what an incredible way to finish off a meal. The servers are extremely thoughtful, friendly and gracious. We often see one server handling the entire restaurant in a calm, organized and efficient manner. We are delighted Mi Pueblo has come to Sebastopol. One of the best California burritos I have had in years but still only coming in at 3 stars. Almost $23 for a burrito and a sparkling water is borderline criminal!!! When I looked at the menu online I noticed all the burritos were $2-3 more than most Mexican restaurants in the area. But I was hankering a a California burrito so I figured what the heck, might as well. I got Carne Asada, always a nice way to measure a restaurants food. I ordered over the phone. When I got there to pay I noticed they charged an extra $2 for Carne Asada. I have never seen this in the hundreds upon hundreds of burritos I have eaten in my day. Why would you charge extra for what I can only assume is the most common choice. On top of that when I got there the gentleman was a bit rude. They were out of a few salsa's at the salsa bar and he seemed extremely annoyed I asked if there was more. He sent another employee out to refill. I went full adult mode and got the carne asada burrito. Folks, this was not food. This was a sacred artifact. We were excited to try a new Mexican restaurant in town (we tried a couple of other Mi Pueblo locations). Very clean restaurant and very attentive staff- as soon as we sat down, we got menus and fresh warm chips, salsa and bean dip. Our waitress (Seidy) was very friendly, brought our drinks right away and the food came out quickly too! There was a steady stream of to-go orders and she kept checking on us. Food was good, service was terrible We had a party of 10 for a birthday dinner. We had 2 menus, we had to get up and ask for chips, we had to get up and ask for more drinks. When our food came we were missing half of the people's silverware and had to wait for that. We waited until the food was cold to get the tortilla for fajitas. No plates for the people sharing the fajitas. Plenty of servers behind the counter and only one other person in the restaurant for most of the time. When I called to talk to them about it the manager was defensive. I really wanted to help them by letting them know. We would have easily spent another 100.00-200.00 had we had someone asking us if we needed anything. We will not return, the Cotati location has great service and is only a few minutes further. read more

I could not eat my food, I had to throw it away and waste valuable money, time ect. The first time I ordered tacos I should have taken a picture because the ground beef was 100% uncooked and just raw. I thought it was just an off day, I worked in a resultant for many years and I know they all have off days- unfortunately this restaurant seems to have a negligent or totally disinterested chef who is not concerned about the quality of food, or Am I the only person who is expecting fully cooked meat when I order a taco? I'm not sure. I gave them another try as my friends were ordering a take out order and I was starving, that was my mistake. One look at that disgusting wet mess made me not hungry and made my stomach turn. I'm going to call and I would like my money back for that disgusting plate or raw beef, meant to be "nachos" I think I will be grossed out by the thought even for years to come. Thank you Mi Pueblo, for helping me to see how disgusting your food actually is, by making it so horribly unappetizing and inedible, I can now save money without feeling that I missed out on something. read more

I've done a pilgrimage to all the Mi Pueblos and they each have their strengths. Salsa bar here is spectacular...4-6 different kinds and all delicious. Food also reliably tasty. Service is more casual than other Mi Pueblos but not an issue for us. Sports bar ambiance with TVs. Meats, sauces, salsas all 5-star for us. Surcharge for beef is par these days. Portions seem large. On Sunday, I came in to eat with my family. We were waiting for the rest out our party, but some of us needed to use the restroom before. We went in & told them we would be eating once everyone arrived. We went back outside after & a male worker followed us outside. He then stood & stared at our car for several minutes. Once the rest of our party got there (9 people in total) the worker continued to stare at us. My husband and I went in for Happy Hour yesterday. What a great deal! We got two orders of Mini Tinga Tostadas (3) which is a ton of food and a super nachos with carnitas. All were $10. Normally $15-16. These were full size plates of delicious food. Combine that with the awesome salsa bar that has 8-10 different salsas and extras, and you have a great place for cheaper eats. The regular menu is extensive and in line with pricing at most sit down Mexican restaurants. Great to see this new restaurant in Sebastopol. We will be back many more times! read more

amazing burritos. i love their chile verde super burrito. they're generous with their toppings like avocado and sour cream unlike most places. their green salsa is also amazing, it's got a different flavor than most restaurants but its very good. their chips are good too. it's also great bang for your buck. most restaurants make you pay an extra $4 for a tiny container of salsa and chips, but mi pueblo includes it with your meal AND they give one big salsa of your choosing plus a smaller one. read more

When I walked in I thought I would rate this as a 4-5 star restaurant but looks can be very deceiving, and now I wish I could rate this "restaurant" less than 1 star. At 5 months pregnant I wish the least I could say was food poisoning; I have now had internal bleeding and become barely able to move my body for multiple days now. After finally having the ability to write this review, I can't imagine how many people suffered like me and literally did not have the physical capability to write the scathing review this place deserves. I would never recommend eating here!! I would only recommend for the health department to check it and shut this place down, or I just recommend shut this place down and never harm anybody again!!! I was there today 9/28/2025 but the server seen us sitting and she ignored us, and she went to go help the other people . They don't have great customer service there. Wow! We went out of our way to visit this place who had advertised a Grand opening with mariachi music. Well the music they had but it came along with attitude and a long wait and all from a place that did not seem all that busy. on arrival our waitress seemed upset to see us, we asked for chips we got attitude we asked for salsa we got attitude we asked for napkins and silverware we got attitude. Twice when we asked about our drink order we were told it's being made meanwhile other tables around us were served their drinks within 10 minutes of arrival. It took 45 minutes for a margarita to arrive, 50 minutes later, put some cash on the table for the drinks and left we couldn't wait any longer and didn't need the attitude. My advice to ownership, it's better to serve 12 tables with excellence then 20 tables with mediocre service, also you need to properly train your staff or it's going to hinder your business success read more

I have been looking for a place for burritos that is closer to me than Cafe Salsa in Petaluma and excited Mi Pueblo is so close so I tried them last night. I ordered the Super carnitas burrito for myself and the Macho Tinga for my husband. I special noted to have the sauce topping for the Tinga to be on the side because we were not going to eat as soon as I got home. They ignored my request about the sauce. My husband liked it regardless. Mu super burrito was terribly dry. I honestly had a hard time seeing any sour cream at all and there was very little guacamole - hence the dryness. Cafe Salsa's reputation has been saved (been going there for years). I will not return to Mi Pueblo for burritos. read more
