Dos Gallos is a pretty regular spot of mine and for good reason. You walk into a quaint Mexican restaurant with rooster paintings and statues everywhere. We usually pick up our menus and seat ourselves, it is like home now. Once we figure out what we want our waitress greets us with a smile. Food is flavorful and the prices are great! Service is a bit slow but there aren't that many employees so we stop by when we know we have time to spare. I recommend the chile con queso and their enchiladas! Our family's first time here and the food was great and the service was really good. We ordered the #7 fajitas, quail was tender and delicious. I ordered a barbacoa taco on the side to try it out and it hit the spot! It's going to be my new go to place for barbacoa. Very family friendly. read more

I'm deducting a star because the salsa has too many onions for my taste, but other than that I have ZERO complaints! Always a place to seat! Clean dining area, parking is crowded, but not bad enough to keep us away! Great food, great Rita's, great prices! Everything is yummy! I can't recommend you try just ONE thing lol read more

My parents and I come here for their breakfast menu. This is definitely our favorite go-to spot for Sunday morning breakfast. I always get the egg and chorizo breakfast tacos with beans. The food is okay but the customer service is awful. I went in to pick up an order and was told it was not ready. As I stood and waited I noticed a to go order sitting at the front table. I asked 3 different staff about my order of the course of 20 minutes. They all told me it would be ready soon. Then someone came out and grabbed the order that had been there the whole and told me it was mine. When I asked about it they said "What do you want to do? Get it or not?" I honestly give this place no stars due to the unprofessionalism. The waiter was EXTREMELY RUDE and refused to give a refund for a meal that I didn't order. After remaining calm and politely asking for her to fix the mistake she made, she then proceeded to belittle me and threaten to call the cops. I was racially profiled and shoo'd out the restaurant as if I was an animal. Something that could've easily been resolved was handled very poorly. I wanted this to be really good, but it is not. I wanted it to be awesome taqueria goodness, but it's not. It's more like tired 1970s yellow American cheese TexMex. The food I have had is rather bland, uninspiring, and tired looking. The service was meh as well. The place was so uninspiring, I am completely uninspired to write more of a review. To start this review I must let everyone know I do not eat meat, with that being said I really like dos gallos spinach enchilada. Not worth it. Service is extremely slow. Only came to eat mid afternoon appetizers. Ordered the shrimp queso flameado and a half order of fajita nachos. Everything was really greasy and the nachos had bland flavor. Also seams like they made those right away and they sat in the kitchen until the queso flameado was done so they were cold by the time we got them. Only positive thing we're the chips and salsa and nice waitress but she can't control when the food is ready. read more

Wanted to go to Titas up the street but it was closed. Stopped here looking for a decent replacement. It was anything but. Oily eggs, slow service and really no redeeming qualities. And when I say oily eggs, I don't mean just greasy. It tasted like they made eggs and then dunked them in olive oil before serving. I've never seen such a thing on a plate. The staff is nice but nothing comes out quickly as a result. They need to hire a new cook and get more organized. A restaurant this size with 3 servers shouldn't have any problem serving breakfast on a Sunday. read more

I've been going to this restaurant for more than half of my life, and even though I live out of state now, I come back at LEAST once every time I'm in town. The salsa is incredible, the margaritas are strong, the food is wonderful, and the employees are so sweet. My recommendations are beef and spinach quesadillas (mixed), or their barbacoa, potato, egg, and white cheese breakfast tacos (you can get them all day). If you have more than a couple margaritas, you'll be on your ass, so make sure you have a ride home! read more
