Food truck with menu below the window. Cash only!
    Brad L.

Went here after seeing it as a new location while running errands. I was super excited to see a combination Guatemalan AND Thai food truck close to where I live. The menu had several things I couldn't wait to try like several kinds of Pupusas, but Phad Thai is a good old standard so I decided to try that. The menu was a collection of dishes with their names and pictures on the side of the truck. It didn't have prices on it, but the cashier told me it was $12 which is a totally reasonable price to pay. They only accept cash, but luckily I had some on me. I waited for about 10 minutes which is a really short time for such a dish especially considering that there was another large order ahead of me. I got my food and asked them if they had a flyer or menu to take with me and they said that they're still working on it. I told them I'd be back to try their Pupusas ($4/ea with several varieties). When I returned home to share it with my partner we were both really pleased. This is the more American style which is more tomato based and less tamarind, but I love that extra tang that the more traditional Thai version lacks. It had all the traditional garnishes and tasted great! I'm super excited to have something like this so close that is quick and slightly cheaper than the other place I'm used to going. I will definitely go back.

Good Guatemalan food and beats the two Central American restaurants in Seattle by far.

Decided to try a new spot on our way to Laterus for silent reading. We were thinking teriyaki, but…read morethe reviews for One stop stunk, so we went next door for Thai. We called in the order and they told us 15 minutes for pick-up. Well we're were right own the road. We got there in much less time than that. I walked in, there was no one in the restaurant, but a slew of pick-up orders. I told the gentleman my order and he said it wasn't almost done. Pleasantly surprised I took a seat. A few minutes went by and I was out the door. Side note, we have not had Thai too often as our spot, Thai Rama in Mukilteo had closed a few years ago. I will say the Pad see eiw was very flavorful and as I do love spicy, ordering a 3 had plenty of spice. I can only imagine was a 5 is. The Pineapple fried rice was a perfect compliment to the other dish. Packed full of flavor and spice. The only thing is that it had tomato's and when my wife ordered it she did not see that in the ingredients. She is allergic. Needless to say I have a really good feeling we will be back ordering these items and exploring the rest of the menu.

I saw really good reviews in Google and it was about 4.2 stars.. lots of parking available. The interiors were looking good... lots of tables to sit and eat.. ambience was good.. service was ok. Slightly pricey than regular Thai restaurant but was ok.. We ordered a vegetarian thai basil, fried rice.. it was spicyyyyyyyyyyyy .. we were actually seeing red chilies flakes on the rice and it was extremely spicy. Thought of calling them and returning it, but it was too late... we picked it just before they closed.. we also ordered a tofu drunken noodle.. noodle was good, but the tofu was really dry... it was ok ok. They had some humongous pieces of tofu which we couldn't eat.... Thai ice tea was good... or on an average experience.. 3/5

I'm assuming she is one of the owners... but she took over and kept him preoccupied while I was able to eat my meal while it was still hot. (Which is a rarity for a mom). She went above and beyond to help me enjoy my meal with my family and friends. I will never forget this act of kindness... it really takes a village. So thank you for giving me a great dining experience. (I would have normally spent the time outside with him and would eat my meal on the go to avoid annoying others around me.) so this new mom wanted to take the time to acknowledge the kindness and patience that was shown to my son and I. Had Pad se ew, pineapple fried rice, massuman curry & crab Rangoons. Pineapple curry was probably the best dish but each dish felt overloaded with oil and very lacking in seasoning/flavor. The curry especially was a let down. It was mostly the most liquid soupy curry I've ever had, very little in terms of substance; meat/veg. The price was good but I don't think we will be returning... I'd rather go to Thai Waterside in Mukilteo and get truly flavorful food.

We've never used their $5 discount coupon, because we like to support local restaurants. The food has always been good - the food is not the problem. When I first went in in 2005, the same meal I ordered last night was about $35. During C-19, it was $45-50. Last night is was $85. The same order. I was OK with each individual order being $17+. We got appetizers. They charged us $3 for rice - for each meal. They charged us .08 for a bag (as if we could carry the food out with us in our bare hands?) For that reason - $1 worth of rice and a .08 cent bag on an $85 order - I will never set foot in the place, again - we will never order online, again. I will never recommend the place, never meet anyone there, again. There comes a point when restaurants are just ripping off their customers. Lanna Thai has reached that point. As sad as that is for us, there are better - less expensive - Thai food restaurants in the city that will give us a .08 cent bag to take out $85 worth of food.

Food: Pad Thai chicken (17.95): we love pad Thai that's prepared with deep orange colors with that slight tangy sweet deep flavor with a heapy saucy coating. This was it. Delicious choice. Rice noodle was al dente too and just firm enough and not soggy. Easy 5 stars and did not disappoint. Great portion size too for dinner. Recommended if you like pad Thai. We have our running list of disappointing pad that experiences but Zab was shockingly delicious! It hit the spot!! Kow soi with chicken (17.95): also a delicious hit! We asked for no spice and it was still deep curried noodled dish. Usually this costs more at other places but it cost the same. Lovely rich flavors. This place lets you customize the protein instead of the typical chicken drumstick you get. Still delicious. Khao Soi lovers, hear hear! I'll keep the review short and sweet. Focused on the food. We were in and out within 40 mins before closing. Sadly we are not local so we are probably not going to be back but this was a great find! Lucky to those who live here!

We started with the pumpkin tempura. It was crispy on the outside, with a naturally sweet pumpkin inside. It was really delicious. It came with a dipping sauce, though the portion felt quite small. The side of lettuce and a chunk of purple cabbage felt a bit odd presentation wise, but once we wrapped everything together and dipped it, it tasted great. For my main, I ordered the vegan herb tofu salad with medium spice. It was mostly fried tofu tossed in a herb dressing with mint, tamarind, and cilantro. The flavor was a mix of sweet, spicy, and tangy. It honestly reminded me a bit of pani puri. That said, the sweetness was a bit overpowering and made the dish slightly sticky. If they toned that down, it would be perfect. We also tried the vegan 17th curry fried rice, which was good. The curry flavor was subtle. My toddler absolutely loved it. Overall, I would recommend this place, especially for vegans. The food was good, with the only downside being that some dishes leaned a bit too sweet for my taste. The service was okay, not exceptional, but not bad either. I had visited this place about three years ago on a busy Friday night and had a pretty poor service experience, so I wanted to give it another shot on a weekday. The food has improved, and the service was decent this time around.
