My experience at this restaurant is usually good, the food is great and the service is okay. However, today my experience was horrible. I ordered my usual through the phone and my fiancé went to pick it up. When we got home we started getting ready to eat the tacos, adding salsa and stuff. When I opened the taco it had a roasted dead fly mixed in with the carne asada. Disappointed and with disgust, we threw the tacos away and My fiancé drove to the restaurant to request a refund. When he requested, they refused to give him a refund because he did not have the tacos in hand. I ended up driving over there with a picture of the fly in the taco and they still refused to give a refund, but I kept being persistent until they finally decided to give me the refund. I understand that stuff happens and bugs may accidentally fly in, but the least they can do is be understanding of the disgust I experienced and offer to give me a full refund without me having to dig in my trash to bring them the tacos. read more

I've eaten several times because co-workers pick this spot and normally the food is decent to good on some items. I was actually not going to this spot because my co-workers and I prefer Salsa's which is literally across the street but on this morning they were closed so I went here. I didn't know I would regret that decision immediately. Let's start with the waiter. He doesn't listen to questions and he chimes in unsolicited suggestions not asked and has poor communication skills and regrettably forgetful. I forgive him for his youthful appearance. I asked for the chilaquiles. They offered it with red sauce. I wanted some patty sausage and that little addition pushed my price to verify $10 for the plate excluding the coffee. That mistake is on me. Wait time wasn't bad (less than 8 minutes I think) but as I got the plate I noticed the potatoes looked burned, chilaquiles we're glossy and oily and saturated with cheese. I thought it's early maybe my eyes are tricking me let me try it. A couple of bites in and I wanted to just walk out to make a statement but I collected myself and when the waiter came around I told him to send this abhorrent attempt at chiliaquiles. I thought it was sloppy and the proof was all over that plate not savory and flavor and presentation was off. TERROR-IBLE! (Pun intended) They so soaked with oil and cheese it was big floppy mess. Corn tortillas looked gray and under cooked. Nasty. I told them to send me Migas instead but basically the same plate. Again, I was so distraught by the previous plate I made mistake number two. They put American cheese on Migas. Damn it I should of asked for white cheese or queso fresco. This plate was just as bad as the first. Beans were good, potatoes weren't burned but had no seasoning at all. Not even salt. I must of scared them cuz these party sausages were a little undercooked. Waiter asked if the plate looked better. I told him it looked better NOT that it tasted better. I didn't finish the plate. I decided they won't get another chance at my business. They got two shots today. No bueno!! ( I wanted to give a star and half! It what it deserves based on effort and uninspired cuisine). read more

I must have came on a bad day. The gordita I ordered was flimsy and falling apart, not to mention the guacamole had chunks of avocados that were not smashed and included the skin! Let me start off by saying, we've been here so many times and it's always been great. The customer service can be better, and the communication between the management and employees. We went 10-11-2020 for a pick chickens/ cheese only plate for my elderly mom. Well she doesn't open it right away unfortunately ( like the restaurant suggested) till she was ready to eat it. Enchiladas were only cheese, no chicken at all. I called and they said manager not there cb Monday, I called, manager not there, lady said I should expect called right when I left restaurant. I told we called when my mom saw what was wrong and left a message. She had a really bad attitude, didn't want to even take my name down and give message. She said she did take message down and will have manager call me. I never got a call, went up there Tuesday 10/14/2020 ask for manager Carlos came to table with attitude and said it's not his fault no on write my messages down and he can't do anything. Carlos isn't the manager either and the way he handle this was definitely very poor customer service and he continue blaming me for his employees not writing the messages down. So basically I give them a 1star for very very poor customer service, management is either aware and doesn't care, or the employees don't want management to know because their messing up business. I really like the food, but I guess businesses don't have no one to handle complaints or anything what's the point of keeping them open. Communication, training between manager and employees is a MUST. I never got a replacement plate or refund at all.. There's many places to choose for great Mexican food, but consider this place if you're looking for Mexican food satisfaction! The experience started off with free chips and salsa. Three types of salsa were available! Each one was delicious! I'm a pepperhead, so I was hoping they had a salsa that would kick my butt. No, unfortunately, this didn't happen. The flavor of the ones they did have were really good, but they were Just Not Hot. Give us the heat! The "Texas Plate" and the Carne Guisada plate were ordered. They didn't disappoint! The Carne Guisada was on point, it was tender, sauced well, and delicious! The Texas Plate was much better than most I've tried, but it needed more "zing"! The sauces helped, but they didn't burn. But hey, not everyone is a chili head, so I'll let that slide. Delicious food, great table service. I can't complain. Tried this place again . I had the steak plate . The steak was mostly fat. The retried beans don't taste like much even when I added salt . The chips aren't very good either . Salsa is just ok . I've been here 3 times and this time will be my last . My daughter ordered cheese enchiladas and there was meat in it as well as mine , not sure what that's about. It was clean at least . I usually never have a problem with them but today I ordered a big order. It was very simple I wanted all of them just bacon and egg. When I get to my destination I look and see all potato and egg. Had a great experience with a large group. The waitresses were clearly working as hard as they could. The food was pretty good, not the best I've ever had. I got 2 chalupa plate. The avacodo they sliced on it had started to brown which just didn't look good. The rice was very different than the typical mexican rice. It was yellow with different veges in it. Honestly I just prefer the red rice. I did devour almost everything though. The beans were pretty tasty, they didn't go crazy with salt thankfully. We really enjoy the food here! One of my favorites is the Jaliciense plate. But let me tell you the Parradillas is our favorite together. It is a feast! So worth it. Their sauces (there are three of them and they are on every table) alone are worth the trip. I'm usually a huge fan of this place however this recent visit really changed my mind. We ordered breakfast at a time that the resturant service was dying down. The waitress took our order, brought our drinks but never checked back with us. We had to flag down another waitress to add a taco for our son to the order. We couldn't believe that 30 minutes later my sons taco arrived but our food was no where to be seen. After an additional 15 minutes we flaged down another waitress and within 2 minutes our original waitress was bringing out our food. We asked why it took 45 minutes to get our food, she said, I don't know I'm just the waitress. No apology, no followup and she disappeared again. After dropping off our food. Like I mentioned earlier we a regulars at this place. We always treat staff nicely and never tip less than 20 dollars. I think this waitress is new because I've never seen her before.
