3.5/5 Stars Super Chicken? This chicken place has been around for several years. Rent must be a good deal. It is a tiny house, after all. Honestly, it's a cute miniature house; like one you would see on "Tiny House Nation"! Well, the Texan urban version, anyways! Drive thru is a very popular option. We chose to dine in this time. They have a small dining area with about 5 tables, each with a paper towel roll and a salt shaker. The basics. Practical, that's about it. Very small area, connected to the counter where you order, with the menu plastered on the wall. A menu from the minimal side orders and drinks to the combination means, am the way to the $460 Family Meal Deal that "Feeds 72 People"! We ordered a combination plate (2 pieces with fideo, salad, flautas), a chicken #2 with charro beans, corn tortillas, onion, peppers, rice, plus an extra chicken flautas side and guacamole. 2 waters, free salsa. They were courteous, efficient, fast. Food was good. Chicken was seasoned well, tender overall, with a few dry edges, but no big deal. Guacamole was a little high priced relative to the other items on the menu it seemed; it was good, but not $5 for the cup good! The 3 flautas were only $3.50, and crispy tasty! Alas, I suppose avocados are more pricey than the shredded chicken and tortillas? Beans and rice were standard, no complaints. Fideo was served hot, sans any meat or vegetables, but served its goal as a soothing, warm accompaniment. Only issue for us was the loud Spanish television program playing relentlessly in the tiny rectangle room, but the other patrons seemed to be sufficiently distracted by it. Shame on me for being so close to the border and not learning the language yet? It did unfortunately make it difficult for us to have a conversation without raising our voices. Overall, satisfactory food with a bare basics dining room. Not worth a huge detour, but if in convenient distance to anyone craving Mexican style chargeilled chicken, give it a shot. Satisfactory Chicken!

Amazing chicken , amazing beans, nice service , and the green sauce is perfect with a hint of lime . Drove an hour for it and will do it again , top notch and honestly one of my favorite places I've ever eaten , never really written reviews but felt like I had too !

Super Pollo Asada...what a treat! The meat was perfect, rice tasty and the beans had chicharrones, they were delicious. My Jamaica was great...not too sweet and all very affordable. Thanks for being there when I needed a 'go-to' spot for some 'soul food. Highly recommend...oh yeah, there's also a drive-thru. You ain't even gotta get outta your car.

First time eating at Super Pollos. Got the asada burrito for lunch. It was fulfilling and the asada was cooked perfectly. Crispy bits but tender and juicy. Great flavor. Their green sauce is OMG! It was big and stuffed! Probably enough for 2 people, but I ate it like I've been starving all day (I was). The proportion of the rice, beans, lettuce, guac, sour cream, and asada was perfect! Nothing was over powering and everything was just enough to party in your mouth. I was singing with each bite! Definitely recommend and definitely coming back for their other items!

Forgot to take a before pic, but as you can see we didn't leave a piece left

My friend and I breezed in after shopping at the Asian market. FANTASTIC FOOD. We got the mini tacos and flautas. Either pick up or dine in. Very friendly staff and a small but homey atmosphere should you decide to eat in.

Came here by mistake, thought it was pollo asados los nortenos! But it was a good mistake, the food was delicious and cheap! The rotisserie chicken is amazing, great smokey taste. The rice and beans are goooood, the sauces are great. The flautas is not good tho, i do not recommend that. Overall for the pollo, it's good! Come try!

We ordered chips and salsa ($1.99) they came quickly. The salsa was tasty and not too spicy. I had Shrimp Nachos. There were plenty of them, lots of cheese and the guacamole was excellent, not a lot of stuff added to it. My husband had Carne Asada. It came with beans, tortillas and cheese enchilada. When he asked about barracho beans, Anthony brought them right away. The ice tea was strong and tasty and he kept our glasses filled. Everything was flavorful and beautifully presented. The building is new. It's very open with high ceilings, lots of windows and cement floors. There was plenty of outdoor seating. There were only a few parking spaces by the entrance. There was free parking on nearby side streets or paid parking in lots behind the restaurant. We would definitely go back when in San Antonio again. The drink menu looked fun! From the moment I walked in, I could tell this place was special. The atmosphere is beautiful, upscale, and inviting. The architecture and design throughout the restaurant are absolutely stunning. Even the restrooms were impressive and reflected the same attention to detail found throughout the entire establishment. The food was outstanding. Every dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavor. This isn't your typical restaurant experience--the menu is creative, unique, and offers something different. You can tell a lot of thought goes into both the preparation and presentation of every plate. What really made the experience unforgettable, though, was the customer service. My waitress, Kreizon, was absolutely amazing. She was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely made me feel welcome throughout my visit. Great service can make a good meal even better, and she definitely elevated the entire experience. The outdoor dining area is also beautiful and creates a relaxing atmosphere that's perfect for enjoying a meal and taking in the surroundings. If you're looking for a restaurant that offers exceptional food, incredible ambiance, unique architecture, and top-notch customer service, Domingo is a must-visit. This is more than just dinner--it's an experience. Highly recommended, and I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in San Antonio.

Electronic dance music pulsed quietly in the background. The toilets were all individual unisex stalls that were classy, mine had run out of hand towels. Also, the entire restaurant is very dimly lit. I had to use the flashlight on my phone to read the menu, but I have poor eyesight so there's that, but it might explain the quality of the photos I took. The Paloma drink was amazing. It had a great spicy zing in the back of the throat after every sip. Queso was... kinda plain. It might have been better with the add chorizo option. It was very thick. Shrimp cocktail was big, but we started fighting over the shrimp pieces. There was plenty of onion and tomato left over after the batttle. Pollo Asado was a great flavor and the chicken was juicy. Grilled squash that was on the side was good. Chicken enchiladas were good and had freshly sliced jalapeños, which is always a welcome detail. I wasn't able to taste the quesadilla but my daoughter said it was "really good". Fried Chicken sandwich had a great flavor and the bacon was actually pork belly if I'm not mistaken. Sadly there was more batter than chicken. The seasoned fries were delicious and crispy.

We sat on the back patio for dinner on a day when it was 100 degrees out and there were fans all over to help keep the air flowing, which helped immensely. They have some interesting cocktails, such as their jalapeño cucumber margarita which is made with ghost pepper infused tequila. Their salsa tray is nice too, they have 4 to select from and you get three in this appetizer, but we ordered the 4th as well and all were pretty nicely done. The verde was amazing and the roasted tomato was great, just not spicy at all. I tried their combo fajitas and was thankful they came out being simply plated, rather than on the blazing hot, sizzling skillet - I don't need the show, just the good eats. The meats were decent, the beans were amazing. The tortillas were just ok, as I felt like they were way too thick. They offered corn tortillas too, but I'm in Texas, so you get flour, not corn. Save room for dessert, they have amazing churros! Overall, this was a decent visit. Service was nice too. I'd recommend stopping in.

It was delicious! The concha was soft, buttery and flaky, with just the right sweetness. We took home the majority of it and it stayed nice and soft instead of turning hard like so many others. We decided to try several appetizers to go along with our concha to get a wider taste of their food than we would by just ordering a couple entrees. Let me tell you, this was a great idea! We ordered the Tosti-Ceviche Verde, Panela Asado, Mexican Street Corn, and their Spicy Bean Dip. The Ceviche Verde was excellent, the freshness of the fish and shrimp was wonderful with the chipotle mayo and avocado. We chose to have it on the salsa Verde Tostitos and it was all great combination. The Panelo Asado was a completely new dish for us and was extremely good with a savory flavor from the salsa Tlaquepaque that mixed well with the Panela cheese. Their tortillas though not made in house, are made for them and taste like mom made them. The Mexican Street Corn was great and had the perfect bit of char taste from the corn. It was creamy and flavorful, we did think it could use just a tad more lime juice though. The Spicy Bean Dip was very good. You can't go wrong with Oaxaca, Chorizo, and pieces of pork mixed with some mildly spicy beans. Our server was fantastic. She had great recommendations for us, and was quick with checking on our drinks and generally helping us throughout our dinner. The food was prepared quickly, was hot, tasteful and refreshing. We definitely will be going back, and recommend Pan Fila to all of you.
