I found Dose Moving when I was looking for a reputable moving company on Yelp for our short distance move in Scottsdale. There are MANY pros: 1. Marilee handles all of their bookings and phone conversations, she is informative and very friendly. There was no pressure when we spoke initially for me to choose them, which made me like her even more. 2. Day of the move: Marilee called in the morning to remind me the guys would be there promptly at 9am, which I appreciated! 3. The guys showed up at 8:50am with a phone call from Patrick when they were on the way. 4. Everything was carefully wrapped, moved and unpacked at our new apartment in 2.5 hours. Talk about perfection! (We had already moved a lot of the smaller stuff but the move was still done very quickly) The move was flawless and smooth! The guys were professional and Patrick was kind and informative. He's also from Oklahoma so of course he's a great person ;) Dose Moving has no minimum time requirement which means if the move takes 1.5 hours, that's all you pay for - It's great that they pro-rate their hours (most Movers don't do this). There is also no truck fee. They kinda make up for it since they are a little bit more expensive per hour than the other companies around but it's worth it since there is no minimum or truck fee and they did a great job. Yelp, you did not let me down. After perusing Dose Moving's mountain of 5 stars, I decided to contact them for our recent move. We didn't have a TON of stuff to move, seeing as how we had new furniture delivered to our new place, but we DID have lots of kitchen stuff, a queen sized bed/mattress, a dresser and some other various boxes to take care of. After deciding our sanity was worth paying for, rather than renting a U-Haul and torturing ourselves, Dose was my first choice. And they were AWESOME. I was even able to call the night before our movers were scheduled, and add on some extra packing supplies. (I was OVER IT by then.) Three guys showed up a little early the morning of our appointment, and set to work. And even though they were a little early, they didn't start charging me until my set appointment time. Because they are the best. Everything was taken apart, loaded up, hauled over and put perfectly in our new place in like...not even an hour. Worth every single dollar I spent. AMAZING team! I had a couch that wouldn't fit through the front hallway into my apartment so the living spaces delivery guys took my couch back to the warehouse leaving me 4 days to figure out what to do with it. After contacting numerous moving companies that told me they couldn't help me, I found Dose. They were able to hoist my couch up to my 3rd floor balcony! Marilee was great at responding. She asked for specific details on what was being moved and dimensions to make sure it was possible and was very timely with her responses. I received daily confirmation texts and I confirmed the day of. They also called when they were 30 min out. They took great care of my couch and apartment. I appreciate they checked to make sure any pets were out of the main rooms so they didn't get out. They wrapped the couch really well in blankets and wrap and got the straps ready to go. Patrick and his team really know their stuff. I had Jim, Jeremy, Victor and Kyle who all took part to make sure my couch didn't fall back onto the ground. I'll be honest, I was terrified... I'm not one to post a review usually but when a business far and away exceeds my expectations I gladly give them a review. The move we just experienced with the help of Dose Moving compels such a review. The three man team assigned to us couldn't have been better in any way. Not only were Ian, Seth and Markeith super positive and friendly but we're so thorough in the way they wrapped all of our furniture as well as being so careful. They unassembled and reassembled all and anything necessary such as beds, legs on furniture, piano etc. Markeith, the bed-smith, went out of his way to tighten and even fix furniture that had become lose over the years. Ian and Seth worked hand in hand in a very methodical precise way one would expect from a military operation. So it was no surprise to discover both men have served our nation with honor and distinction, Ian a navy veteran and Seth an army soldier who had served in Afghanistan, Iraq and other countries around the world. The respect they treated our homes and furniture was truly remarkable. My wife and I were absolutely amazed with all three of these young men. We recommend Dose Moving 100%. The team that moved our household goods was quite good. HOWEVER, the packers were awful. While unpacking we found the pots and pans and flatware thrown into a box with no wrapping, a knife was not wrapped and there was broken glass in a box (from a container they broke) both of which could have caused us injury. In addition, they skipped an entire kitchen drawer, their labeling was poor, hard to read and often non descriptive. This feedback was shared with the owner and she apologized and she fired the employees. Both were appropriate actions. What she has not done is offer any form of refund, partial or whole, of the packing costs or gratuity we paid. Initially I had a good experience during the move. After the move, I turned on my living room TV to find it broken. Mistakes happen, but how the company responds can make all the difference. I really wanted to have one of these five star experiences, but I didn't and that's disappointing. The whole point of hiring professionals is to avoid broken and missing things but we got it anyways. The broken stuff I've fixed and gotten over, but I still don't have the glass top to my table. How do you lose that? I've called three times and no one knows and they'll "figure it out" but it's been two months and nothing. So, does anyone know of a great place to get replacement glass for a round table top? Marilee, you have been the only nice and helpful person I've spoken to there, and out of all the times I've called, I've only spoken with you once. The movers did call me about the missing glass, but only said "I dunno what to do I'll have her call you back", then I've heard nothing. We also STILL have you guy's moving blankets at our house too, which I also told the guys on the phone. Marilee explained the pricing upfront so there were no surprises and I paid a deposit to secure my spot. The day of, my crew was tied up with the client before me, but Marilee gave me the heads' up in advance and sent a crew of four (Jim, Caleb, Victor, Tyler) in place for my crew of two (for no extra cost). The guys were super fast, like literally running to and from the truck fast. They were all nice, too. I will definitely use Dose in the future and recommend to any friends. The move cost me much more than quoted. Like twice as much $3,400 to be exact. They broke a blade off of my ceiling fan. I asked for a few specific things to be moved and they left them, as well as several other large items that could not fit in my car. They spilled something green down my stairs and never said a thing. They supposedly put my furniture back together, but I sat on my bed and it broke. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! read more

Per my price shopping, Dose appeared to be the best deal in the valley. When we called to schedule it was their staff (who was very helpful and nice) that recommended three movers due to the size of our job. However, on the day of the move when the employees arrived there were only two. The lead said that someone had called out sick so that was that. The cost difference was only $20 less an hour but it took them well over an additional hour to get everything done with only 2 guys so it ended up being my loss that they did not have enough staff to met their own recommendations. Further, while the movers were very nice, and I was impressed by the way that they wrapped our living room furniture, they put a huge hole in our king size mattress I'm assuming because it fell over onto something? Insult to injury, we had specifically said when scheduling we had a treadmill that had to get upstairs in the new home... They got it out of the old house fine but after struggling and scratching up the walls the movers decided that they could not move the treadmill upstairs without taking it apart. WTF. It's not a whole gym in one set up, just a little treadmill. They were willing to try and disassemble it but I would be charged the same hourly rate for their inefficiency and struggle. No thanks. Overall we got all of our things mostly intact from one house to the other, but I thought that because they didn't have the Manpower that they themselves suggested it took longer than needed and I was therefore charged more. I don't have a photo to prove what my mattress looked like before they got there, but I still have a treadmill in the wrong place and that is really upsetting. While dose might be a fine choice for some (and it could be much worse), I would personally not recommend them as I'm sure there are better options out there. read more

I am giving Dose Moving a 5-star rating primarily due to the speed and price of their service. This is the second time I've used Dose Moving to move around the Valley. I didn't leave a review after my first experience because I wanted to see if they could duplicate their amazing work. They did not disappoint and now I want to let everyone know about my positive experience. I had a 10:00am appointment this morning and Fonzy called my cell phone to let me know that they would arrive at 09:55am. He wasn't messing around, they arrived exactly at 09:55am! Incredible. Upon their arrival, Fonzy introduced himself and his colleague, Thayne. They were excited to, dare I say, get moving...! They immediately started "staging" my boxes and some furniture. They basically just moved my stuff outside so it would be easier for them to move more at once. Fonzy and Thayne were very nice and we cracked jokes/told stories throughout the move to the truck. Everything was going smoothly so far. I left ahead of them, in order to organize things at my new place. Once they arrived at my new place, they parked, hopped out of the truck and immediately began unloading the truck. We continued to laugh and genuinely had a good time moving my stuff into my new place. They completed the transfer of my belongings within [3] hours and with zero damage/dings/drops! Impressive. Overall, I am very pleased with how my move played out. Fonzy and Thayne were awesome and I am happy they were tasked with my move. I am also very pleased with Dose Moving as a company. They obviously hire quality people and they appear to demand quality work from them. Dose stayed in constant contact with me prior to my move and throughout my move. That level of accountability was refreshing and reassuring. Finally, the price was incredibly competitive. It is very rare to receive such a high level of quality for such a reasonable expense. These guys made the whole moving procedure very comfortable for me. I had an out of state move but everything was delivered to me in one day. In fact I got my car keys right after I landed at the airport and my car was already waiting for me at my apartment complex. Took extra care to make sure nothing gets damaged or broken. They took the beds apart and put them back together. Helped us move across town and unpack all under 4 hours. Thank you Dose Moving for making my move smooth and painless. Marlene called to confirm my booking the evening before they were scheduled to arrive. Rob (leader), Ricky and Brett arrived at exactly 11:00 AM. They worked quickly and moved everything from my second story apartment to the curb and loaded the truck (took 1.5 hours). Everything was secure and protected inside the truck. Once we arrived it took them about 1.5 hours to unload everything into my new apartment. Rob was the leader, Brett and Ricky switched on and off between carrying stuff to the stuck and disassembling/reassembling furniture. Upon completion Rob called the home office to determine a price. My move was 9 miles. Apparently the trip charge was from their office to my home. I misunderstood/was not aware up front. No big deal though. Just be aware of that one possible extra if your house is far from their office. The movers arrived on time and worked efficiently with no breaks. Since they charge by the hour, their hustle was very much appreciated. They even brought an extra worker but didn't charge me extra! That certainly made up for the trip charge misunderstanding. We only requested for them to pack up everything in our house, so we rented our own Uhaul and had it ready for them when they arrived. Rickey, Dalton and Kaleb. These three men were phenomenal!!!... They worked so hard & they listened to me and my concerns & how I wanted this move to go... They delivered on everything I asked and I cannot say enough about them! They were kind, courteous, respectful and worked very hard and consistent. These three guys did a phenomenal job and I would highly recommend them to help with any move. I wish the company was better at communication and I think there is some room for improvement there... We have used Dose previously and they were great. This time I opted for four men at $235.00 per hour. They showed up with the four men and one dolly. I called and asked why would you send four men and one dolly and was told to limit breakage. (My 50 inch TV IS CRACKED DOWN THE MIDDLE AND they would not even take my calls when their employee told me to call and the number. So all fifty tubs with lids for easy loading with a dolly were hand carried one or two at a time as some were heavy. } This move took from 9am to 5pm with no appliances no garage and a broken TV THAT IS NOT COVERED, everything is wrapped in saran wrap . The men are required to wear harness's to lift huge pieces of furniture instead of using a dolly that I gave permission for . Needless to say the owner refused to talk to me but did email me a claim form with no instructions and said I was arguing. I guess for $1700.00 I felt a phone conversation was genuine regarding my broken TV that the employees stated was not broken when loaded. Very sad to milk the customers by not using a dolly it took about three hours longer. Never again. Marilee was who I was told to call but she refused to take my calls. read more
