Amazing crew and saved us from a bind The fact is that Dose helped us out of a bind when plans fell through for another mover. Scrambling, I requested quotes through Yelp! Marilee responded in 15 minutes! She described options and we had details set 15 minutes after that. I put in my deposit in online and went from Desperately Seeking Movers to Taken Care Of and Confident in all of 35 minutes. We had Brandon "The Hulk" lead our crew. Amazing guys and always moving. They did a lot of protective wrapping, were fast, made great use of the truck space, and we didn't have a single nicked wall or piece of furniture to complain about. The truck was new and well cared for. Dose even too our old living room set to charity for us and sent us are going to send us a donation receipt. Couldn't recommend these folks more. Excellent moving experience!!! We recently moved and used Dose Moving (came recommended by our realtor). They were great! We had to change dates and Marilee was very easy to communicate with. The rates are good. They do not have extra charges, such as fuel surcharges, truck fees, and other nonsense fees that most of the other companies charge. The guys were there on time, worked extremely hard, were professional, courteous & respectful. Moving was on time. Price was estimated with a visit so no surprises. Some furniture like the bed post was damaged in the move. Overall, good company to use but make sure you check everything prior to signing the final delivery paperwork. I mean make a list of the adjectives you would want to describe your moving team, words like punctual, clean, neat, responsible, communicative, hard-working, careful, presentable, friendly, cooperative, organized -- feel free to add more. Now check them off not once but three times because the entire crew were outstanding. Sure the driver/leader knew his job and did it well, but the other two were every bit as good. Seriously, I have never seen three guys work better as a team and more importantly for me as a client. When the clock stopped and the check was paid and the tip given, they took time to wish us well before leaving. Yeah, the little gestures can matter. This is a must use company. read more

We had a two part move: out of our house two days before we closed on our new one, and Dose had the ability to store our belongs in a climate controlled facility during the intervening time period, which was wonderful. The representatives were responsive to the questions I had prior to ordering packing and moving services. Packing and moving services were completed in a professional manner. I was able to leave the two ladies that packed my 2br apartment to their own devices. Unfortunately, packing took far longer than the original estimate; while I was told that two people should be able to pack such an apartment in 2-3 hours, I ended up being charged for 6 hours. I'm a single guy who lives alone; I've been told by other moving companies that I have relatively fewer items than many moves they've seen for this square footage. While the packing was done well, I do wonder if it couldn't have been completed in a shorter amount of time; the packing took so long that the movers arrived prior to the packing being finished, which likely slowed down both groups of workers. The movers had the incorrect address written down, so took a circuitous route to arrive at my new condo; when the company was informed of this, they agreed to refund that portion of the payment. When the men were reassembling one of the beds, they unfortunately drilled a beam incorrectly and screws have now damaged the wood. Otherwise, the movers were responsive to where I wanted items placed, etc. and moved quickly and efficiently. I'm not a huge fan of time-based moving services, having used services in the past that offer estimates and at least guarantee that finals costs will be within a certain percentage range of this. I attempted to obtain an in-person estimate prior to the move but was informed that this isn't necessary; perhaps in the future, I'll insist. read more

I had a very positive experience with Dose Moving this morning. The movers called me an hour before the scheduled time letting me know they were 15 mins away and available if I wanted to start early. Since I had prepared the night before I was ready to go, more than happy to get it done ASAP. The move was seamless and efficiently completed which is really all I can ask for. Moving sucks. After finding out our rent was going up $400/month panic started to set in. Then when we finally locked down a new home with only 2 weeks until move-in, the next panic set in of having to find movers. My roomie and I saw a Dose truck in our complex working on another job so I threw them into the mix of movers to reach out to for a quote. Quote was super quick and straight forward and no wacky extra fees added in. I am sooooo happy I chose this company. Moving day was 1/27 and the crew showed up at 8:30 on the dot. Chris II, Angel, and CJ were so fantastic. Super professional and just awesome guys. They went above and beyond and didn't complain once about having to move stuff down from a 3rd floor apartment. When we got to the new house they were quick to unload, and place everything as needed. Was almost sad to see them go because they made the day fun and less stressful. Dose made moving bearable. I have used them twice and would use them again. They are prompt (which movers are known to be anything but), professional, and efficient. There are no additional charges like most moving companies toss in after your stuff is loaded. They call on the morning of your move with their name and time of arrival. Once they arrive, they do not stop working until the job is finished. No smoke breaks, no coffee breaks, no chit chat, they are all business and do a great job. Nothing got dented, broken, or missing. I highly recommended Dose and will use them again. read more

Please read prior to hiring Dose. I hired them in September to move a condo I was moving out. They showed up with 4 kids probably 19 to 22. I lived in a nice building that had rules for movers. One of the kids ended up getting into an argument with the building manager. She had to call the owner and he had to come out and fire the kid on the job. I now had 3 kids versus four so the job took much longer. The only reason this was an issue is that they bill you by the hour. They managed to break one of my brand new 60 inch tv's. When I went to put in an insurance claim they declined it saying I had not purchased insurance outside of them which nobody had mentioned to me. I figured a moving company had to be insured. So I am out a $1,000 tv. Moving is stressful enough without having a company that operates this way. I would never recommend that someone use these guys. read more

I've used Patrick with Dose Moving company a few times now! I bought a table for my boyfriend and his brothers and he called beforehand to tell me he was on his way- not only that but he was early!!! Unheard of for a moving company. Then my friend used them to buy a bed/frame for her boyfriend and she also had a great experience! (Called her prior to dropping the bed off too!) I've used moving companies in the past that are late, you can't get a hold of them, or they are unprofessional. Not Dose! They are very professional, prompt, and affordable. I selected Dose Moving based on reviews that I had read on Yelp. After I read the reviews, I figured they would show up with Halos on based on the reviews. They didn't show up with halos but they did have a cape on and hada large S on their chest. To start, they showed up over 1 hour early! That's right; early, not late. Pat along with three other movers got to work right away. My only concern was they had no truck but just a trailer towed by a pickup truck. Our move from a 3000 square foot house to a 1664 square foot townhouse meant we left a lot behind but I felt far too much for them to fit in that trailer. Not to worry! They did a great job of packing and our move went on without a hitch. I knew nothing about Dose Moving before I caled them but I now know them well enough to recommend them for your move. Hard-working, courteous and efficient, I don't think you would be disappointed. read more
