I believe the ownership has changed and the new owners just aren't hands on as he was. So why the poor rating? Last week I was there and it was poorly staffed (Again). The person running the cash register was then running over to rinse the cars. Yes, a one man show. While I felt bad for the person, they were allowing the folks to get through on the automated line (those with a membership or paying by card) to totally gyp the line, cutting in front of those paying with cash. The cash paying line just sat there. The person got to busy to stop rinsing and collect cash, plus the line of people coming through the automated line was endless. They use to be a good deal. Scott would put discount coupons in The Clipper where you could get the top car wash for $5 off. The new owners are charging much more per wash and no discounts AND trying to push everyone towards a subscription which is equal to 2 full price washes or $40. This would all be worth it if the car came out clean. Your going to have to wash the bugs and bird turd off yourself!

They asked to keep the car another day, which I declined due to a lack of confidence in the diagnostic process. I was also charged a $24 environmental fee that was not explained when I paid over the phone. Customer service was polite, but the diagnostics felt incomplete and leaned toward replacing parts without confirmation. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this shop.

Though True Auto was also busy, they made time to accept my vehicle and take excellent care of it with great turn around time considering all the work it required. The Service Advisor Rich and Technician Bob, were very friendly and thorough in review of the issues I wanted them to address. I received a few calls to keep me updated on their findings as necessary, fair estimates of cost to discuss the work prior to them moving forward, and a good timeline to have the car finished. The cost came in under what was quoted, and I found them to be very honest and knowledgable in their work. I have no complaints, was happy with their service and pricing, and will certainly use them again in the future.
