I have been coming here for several years. This very fun place to eat and experience the local happenings has turned into the worst kind of chaos. The current owners just don't seem to care that some of their staff use this place as their own party place. You can actually sit here and watch them stealing. When the owners do respond to something, usually it's for something THEY should handle, not another employee! A WORKING manager would be great! I have personally seen the best of the employees end up leaving. I don't blame them. Owners don't handle ANY issues!! Employees are constantly late... causing discontent with other staff that have to cover for Them. Shifts are not covered, so bar / restaurant remains closed until someone decides to come to work. The owner doesn't care. No call no show is call for immediate termination. It also needs two employees working during the day at least! One employee cannot handle the business themselves! Even if they THINK they CAN! This place was once a money maker, and everyone enjoyed themselves. I truly hope it will return to its once happy CLEAN place. read more

The atmosphere is also very unique, with all of the firefighter memorabilia, and pub style. But I've never had bad service here and I've been coming back for the better part of 20 years.
