The service was okay and the workers could have been friendlier. There's a few seats by it. They have a bunch of unique flavors.The donuts are made in fresh and in front of you. The variety was perfect and they disappeared almost immediately. The salted caramel sauce is an absolute must seriously next level. Beyond loved them and will definitely be ordering again. I would definitely skip this dessert. It taste like fair food. I thought it was going be like fancy donuts but all they do is rub different sugar on to the fried dough. I think it was like $7 for 6. We tried this location on a food tour. Yes it was a good option for a food tour, but otherwise go get a donut at the local donut shop in town. Many of those have specialty flavors and this had many more than typical but about 1/10 the size. Which is fine. But if I am having a donut for $3 I want to not have to buy seven more to make my breakfast. They are made very fresh and I can see how that is attractive, but it is not worth waiting for 10 minutes for my 20$ order. Was not that memorable. read more

Amazing mini donuts. Cookies & cream flavor was great. Flower power tasted... sparkly? Like sour skittles, but without the sour, if that makes sense. It was a really unique experience. Food was served pretty quickly. The only minor thing is that I wish the dulce de leche sauce had been easier to scoop. I think it was refrigerated. read more

Visited the delightful spot while visiting the Chelsea Marketplace. It was tucked away in a corner of the shop, depending on which way you enter. Small but cute shop with menu displays and drink options. I ordered 6 dresses nuts for $6. They did offer other quantity options, but I started out slow. As I waited to order donuts were being freshly made in front of me. I loved being able to watch the process from beginning to end. I ordered cinnamon and apple cider, which were both good! They weren't aye right away but still tasted really good, I could only imagine how much better they would've been fresh. read more

Great concept as mini donuts to share. U can pick 1-2 flavors for 6 donuts. 3-4 for 12, etc. service is quick. They label the flavor on the bag so u know what you are eating. 2 tables on the side but most people grab it to go. I like apple cider. Pistachio I didn't really taste it much. read more

Every time I stop by Chelsea Market, I can't resist picking up a donut or two at Doughnuttery. The bite size is perfect to snack on, so you still have space to try out other food in Chelsea Market. They have a cute machine popping out deep-fried donuts every minute. Every donut is guaranteed to served warm and fresh. I enjoy its pillowy and squishy texture. The donuts are some of the best donuts I've had in New York City! I've go to New York very often and I've stayed all over the city but I have don't found any donuts that compare to these. If you're from Texas where everything is bigger just know these mini donuts are packed with large flavors. We tried the bam berry and chocolate flavored doughnut. Let me tell you the bam berry was delicious! A must try. The chocolate was good as well but for the chocolate lovers this doughnut is a little more subtle. The staff were friendly and helpful. They were cheerful and doughnuts are made in front of you in a clean controlled environment. During a New York trip, my brothers and I got the chances to go stop by the Doughnuttery in Chelsea. Apparently there are 2 locations there. We tried the s'more's and fruity cereal . I personally wouldn't have tried those flavors but they were recommended to us by the host there. The Fruity cereal doughnuts were fresh so they hit different. Definitely a big fan. read more

If you are indecisive like me or just enjoying trying lots of flavors, the Doughnuttery is a good place for a quick snack or post meal dessert. They are a small stand in Chelsea Market, and specializes in miniature donuts (think the size of those frosted entenmann's donettes). The minimum order size is 6 donuts but you can choose up to 2 flavors. I got the classic cinnamon sugar (yum, just like Auntie Anne's) and the Nana-Cocoa-Latte which is a mix of coconut, banana and coffee. I prefer the cinnamon one because the flavors of the nana one wasn't particularly strong, and I didn't really get much banana or coconut from it. I do like how the donuts are made fresh and warm and they will add the sprinkle topping it on it to-order but they are pretty expensive at $6 for 6 (so basically a dollar each), hence I knocked off a star. read more

it is a hidden gem in Chelsea market you must get to for some delicious donuts! A bit pricey but worth the experience. We ordered a box of 25 and got to choose five flavors. We were in large group and everyone had fun choosing the flavors and taking turns trying them. Maybe because it was busy due to holidays or not but the staff was not friendly or even cracked a smile, but the cashier made suggestions for the seasonal flavors and was patient while we decided. What turned me off was that the rest of the staff were so busy having a conversation amongst themselves, they barely interacted with me as I was ordering. Also, the doughnuts were just grabbed from some heating unit, then tossed in a sugar (depending on the flavor) and handed to me. I thought they would be a bit more fresh, but I guess that was my mistake. read more

While you can find better donuts, the concept is a good one. Doughnuttery's tiny donuts have a higher surface (fried dough) to interior (unfried) so the actual taste of the donuts is limited. Their signature sauces are the key and make them delicious. read more

The little doughnuts made fresh to order have a way of wafting their delicious smell near and far. They offer tons of flavor options, which all seem to be a mix of flavor powder and sugar coming from a glass bottle. Unfortunately, the flavors I tried were just kind of middling and it seemed pricey to pay about $1 per a little doughnut. Coco Loco: This had a faint taste of Coco Puffs and lots of sugar. The freshly made doughnut was still very moist inside, which was a nice contrast to the crunchy sugar topping. And the heat probably helped the sugar fuse a bit. Salted Caramel: Tasted more like butterscotch than caramel to me. And kinda in that artificial pudding flavor way. I guess it was slightly salty too. Purple Pig: So I actually do like maple bacon doughnuts since they remind of a yummy pancake breakfast platter. However, I was not a fan of these. The bacon kinda tasted like Bacos and the maple flavor was very faint. Probably my least favorite. Fruity Cereal: My favorite of the flavors I tried, it really did have a strong Fruity Pebbles aroma. Though like cereal dust rather than the full chunks, which felt strange from a texture perspective but tasted fine. read more

I was lured here by the amazing scent of their freshly made doughnuts. The little area where they prepare them makes the whole vibe. It's fun watching them prepare your individual flavors. The staff was very nice, no complaints about service. I appreciate how many different options there were, but if I'm being honest, I couldn't really taste the difference between some of the flavors. These babies are perfect for me! Who said "Bigger is Better!" Doughnuttery used to have a location in the Food Court of the Plaza Hotel. This Chelsea Location is not one I frequently visit. They serve bite size donuts. You can customize the donuts or select the prefix donuts on display. There's lots of unusual flavors to choose from. They run around $1 each with tax. Doughnuttery catered a Fall event I attended recently. They served Apple Cider Cinnamon Doughnuttery Donuts. At the event there were Four mini donuts in each bag. I took one bag home for my daughter. The place was nice and cakes were stacked neatly. What was surprising to me is that they don't have any cookies laid in the front display. It's all placed in the back almost hidden. I was deeply disappointed with their cookie selection. It was deeply surprising that they don't sell the butter cookies that had jam in the middle and dipped with chocolate on one side with sprinkles. I did ask the clerk and even showed him a pic of what I was looking for and he said they never sold them. They only had the linzer cookies and they didn't look so good. They also did not have the lobster tail. They did have the sfogliatelle which they also called a lobster tail. I thought they were not the same? Some bakeries sell both and they are definitely not the same. I did end up buying one of their sfogliatelle with cream and some rugelachs. The sfogliatelle was good but the rugelachs tasted slightly underbaked. It did taste fresh though unlike many I've had in other bakeries. However, for $28 per pound, I wouldn't get it again. For those not having lobster tail and not having the Italian cookies, I will have to give Veniero's a low rating. I never thought an Italian bakery would not carry staples. Very disappointed. I need to find another Italian bakery now.

It is a really indulgent sandwich, with each bite revealing the sweetness and butteriness of the maple crueller, the saltiness of the thick cut bacon, and the savoriness of the cheese and the eggs as the yolks popped. I sipped the cold brew in between bites to cut the richness. It was a very satisfying meal. The Lumberjack is not something I would recommend you eat every day, but it's good as an occasional treat. In the past I've ordered lunch from Daily Provisions via delivery (the "Chefy" salad and the chicken milanese with arugula salad are my favorites), but I might start adding other breakfast sandwiches to the mix.
