Welcome Homie's Donuts! At this point they've been around for several months but I came by in the winter when it had more just recently opened and was excited because they are a sister business to Homer's Donuts in Canada. Their donuts are beautiful, and look like your imaginary vision of what donuts should be. They're large, and super fluffy, and bonus points because these donuts were so large and fluffy they helped shove down a fish bone I had swallowed earlier that day! The flavor was great, too, nice and sweet, def a bit on the sweeter side but nothing most people would qualify as too sweet. 10/10 excellent eating!!! i stopped in new york for fun this past december. i went on a bit of a quest to try out all the donut spots there (er, the donut spots that i could find before my flight while not being too far from my family... haha) and this was the best one out of the bunch. i only had one donut there as my adhd medication kicked in: it was the biscuit donut and it was soooo good!!! it was a donut with biscoff biscuit crumbles on it; it had the right amount of flavor (wasnt overly sweet) and the donut itself was also just great. the service there was also great, as the cashier was very talkative and friendly but not in a way that in an intrusive way (i wish i remembered his name); made the atmosphere very welcoming. highly recommend if you get the chance!!! read more

I ended up getting the biscoff donut (I think it was around $7) and unfortunately it tasted nothing like biscoff /: disappointed since the donuts are somewhat pricey. Great donuts and unique flavors! We happened to walk past Homie's and decided to stop in without any prior knowledge. We tried the strawberry shortcake donut which was really good. The donuts itself were large and tasted very fresh. There's some seating inside and they have patio seating in the back as well. Homies donuts is such a nice neighborhood spot. The donuts are fried fresh every morning. Definitely recommend coming in at 10am when they open for the best glazed and maple you will ever have. Their unfilled donuts are pretty large and can easily be shared between two. The filled donuts have a generous amount of filling. Their drip coffee is really good, which is weird for me to say because I'm more of a latte person. Pairs perfectly with a donut. They have a large selections and have a few seasonal roll outs announced on their TikTok/instagram. The service is really upbeat and feels personable. The owners do a good job of making sure they make conversation and the baristas are very helpful with suggestions. The ambiance is super cute. Homie's Donuts was absolutely worth the hype for me. We picked up a variety of donuts for a group, and the whole box was almost too pretty to eat. Every donut looked creative and colorful. You can tell a lot of care goes into both the visual presentation and the concept behind each one. I personally had the Cinnamon Toast Crunch donut, and it was such a fun experience. It genuinely scratched that nostalgic itch from eating the cereal as a kid. It didn't just feel gimmicky either, it actually delivered on flavor and made a familiar idea exciting. Even though I didn't get to try the others, the Cookie Monster donut is already calling my name for the next visit because it looked so memorable. We went to Homie's donut for the first time and their donuts were amazing! We had tried once in Canada and we loved it so much that we were so happy to be able to visit again in NY! They have varieties of donut from traditional flavors like glazed, cinnamon sugar, etc. to more fancy ones like biscoff donut, Kit Kat donut, Ferrero Rocher donut, crème brûlée donuts and such. I came to this to place on a visit downtown and they were next door to a burger place I wanted to come check out. On my arrival I was greeted by such a lovely woman who could see it might have been my first visit because I was fascinated by how large their donuts were. The selections they had all looked to be so tasty and I had a hard time choosing because I really didn't expect to buy donuts. I decided to get some anyway for my daughters and myself. I went with us having two each and an extra for my grown up daughter who comes and visits. They were a hit with my girls. My middle child couldn't stop talking about the cinnamon toast crunch donut and how she needed a whole box of them to herself. Homie's does have some tables you can stay in if you want along with some hot beverage options that you can order with your donuts. It also has cute decor and is good for taking great photos. We were in search of donuts for the holidays and came upon this place after a quick online search of donuts in the Soho area. Apparently it's a fairly new donut spot in the area. We ordered the lemon merengue donut and the cheese cake donut. Both were pretty good. The lemon merengue donut was very lemony. The cheesecake donut was not really a cheesecake and more like a cream donut with strawberries. There isn't much in the way of seating on the inside but it was festive with a donut tree. Decided to stop by since I was around the area. Once I walked in, each staff greeted me warmly. It was really nice! I saw all the donuts displayed and even though I have set my mind on three donuts, the classics ; the glaze, the strawberry and Boston cream. I actually got an extra - the lemon crumble. Reason being I love lemon flavors and I did say to myself if there's a lemon flavor donut, I'll get it...not thinking they would... but 4 donuts came out to about 13 dollars. Which isn't bad at all! Took these babies home and I didn't get to eat it right away and waited until my boyfriend came back home. Once he did ! I heated them up, just slightly - 5-6 seconds (optional, thought it be nice) and omggg the glaze! (the first one I tried) was to die for! Again these babies are huge but they are so soft and pillowy! It reminded me a little bit of Krispy Kreme but..BETTER!! All of the donuts are about the same - meaning the textures were such a highlight. Having a dough that is so soft def make you feel less guilty. Although for the Boston cream, I wished there were more custard inside. The strawberry is sooo good!! It doesn't have that artificial taste at all or it's just different, meaning their recipe makes it better and not the typical powdered sugar glazed kinda thing. Homie's Doughnut just opened in NYC and I happened to be in the area, so I made my way in. Right away, the staff stood out as exceptionally friendly, which is much rarer than it should be these days in the city. That alone made a great first impression. Walking in, the doughnut display immediately grabbed my attention. There are so many flavors that it caused instant analysis paralysis. Homie's offers yeasted donuts in classic and fun, modern flavors - I got the glazed, which showcases just how light and airy their dough is. I could eat a million of these. The crème brûlée is certainly for you if you like custard filled donuts, and has a nice bit of texture with the brûlée top. Everyone was SUPER friendly and seemed genuinely curious about my thoughts on the donuts (probably helps they've been open less than a week..!) A new chic donut shop in the nolita section of Manhattan that you will not confuse with Dunkin or Krispy cream. I like the boutique style Interior with brick walls , round individual tables and retro chairs . Ok the donuts are displayed to see from glazed , chocolate, lemon meringue, Dubai chocolate,etc. Donuts ain't cheap as a assorted dozen cost me over 40 bucks but well worth it and delicious, embarrassed to admit but I Houdini more then one especially the strawberry sprinkles my favorite as they use grade A ingredients. The menu is a mix of simple classic flavors and fancier, non-traditional toppings (cannoli, lemon crumble). It looks like they only sell yeast/raised donuts and no cake ones. I tried the glazed and strawberry frosted. I ate the glazed fresh in the store and it was very good. I ate the strawberry frosted the next morning. As expected, the donut was stale since it was the next day. Not an issue. What was weird was the strawberry icing turned to a weird goopy consistency and was dripping pink liquid. And to make it worse, there was not even the slightest bit of strawberry flavor in the icing. I know since I ate that one a day later, it's not going to be great. But it should at least taste like strawberry. Definitely go for the plain glazed donut. If I'm in the area again, I would def try another flavor but not the strawberry. read more
