The most disapointingly sweet, doughy, oily, uncrispy, flavorless, and expensive cronut I've ever had. There was no chai flavor except in the excruciatingly sweet dollop of cream and the entire donut was pervaded not with the taste of yeast, but pure flour soaked in oil. Cute place to take pictures though.
I've walked by here enough to finally come in and try one of their donuts and I got the Blueberry cake donut to munch on because it's one of my favorite flavors. I often go out of my way to head to Peter Pan over in Williamsburg when I can, but it's still tedious to get there so I don't go as often as I would like. In terms of this place's take on it though, it's good! It's super soft and almost melt in your mouth and the inside almost reminds me of a blueberry muffin a bit (in a good way). It has its own uniqueness and charm to it, so I definitely wouldn't be opposed to coming in again and trying their other offerings.

It has that classic retro diner vibe with the marble counter seating, bright neon signs, and a nonstop flow of people coming in for coffee and donuts. The texture was soft and fresh, which made it feel more indulgent than your average donut shop treat. Service was quick and efficient, even with how busy the place stays. It's one of those spots where you grab your order, find a stool if you can, or just grab and go, and just enjoy the classic New York atmosphere. You can tell why this place has lasted so long. It balances nostalgia with creative flavors really well, and the tres leches donut alone is worth the stop.

I'm not digging the French cruller. I think of it as the angel food cake of cakes - it's light, airy, tastes nice - but lacks oomph for me. I also wish there was more cannoli cream inside the cruller. I'm gonna stick to their cake and croissant donuts!

I was intimidated by the expansive array of flavors but eventually settled on the blueberry cake and maple croissant donuts. The blueberry cake was moist, dense and perfectly glazed for sweetness that complemented the healthy dose blueberries dotted throughout. In contrast, the maple croissant was flaky and light despite its girthy appearance. I would happily come back either morning or night to enjoy a little sweet treat here
Wow. We stopped in for donuts. Our only regret is that we didn't have enough room in our bellies to try them all. We had the creme brule, maple bacon, and Capuchino croissant. Instead of just being big lumps of fried dough, these were all very light and layered like a croissant. Absolutely love this place. Don't miss it!
You can't go wrong with a good gourmet donut! There are so many options here that it's overwhelming and almost impossible to choose. I ended up getting the s'mores and the pumpkin spice, which were both great options. They're super filling, so one to enjoy now and one for later! They opened in 1964 and have developed a stellar reputation of being open for 24 hours, 7 days a week and offering the most unique selection of humongous donuts and flavors you'll never find in traditional donuts establishments. Recently, I read a review of the best black and white cookies and I was very surprised thst of all the bakeries in Manhattan, they were rated number 1! Since I had an appointment in Greenwich Village, Ivwent to their newest ( and inly other location) on Broadway just off Astor Place. This location is indeed a donut lovers dream shio. With lots of seating and a long counter, you could enjoy sitting and eating donuts, drinking coffee and even reading a good book while enjoying the lovely ambiance of their donut emporium. I came here to sample their black and white cookies and met Benjamin, one of The Donut Pub's dedicated staff members who was very excited to share his favorite donuts that he recommended as well as demonstrate his knowledge of the history of their absolutely delicious black and white cookies!

We got here at 10 am on a Saturday morning and there was only one other customer. This place was super clean; the counters were spotless. The cashier was friendly and gave us several recommendations, including the Tres Leches Croissant Donut. Everything tasted delicious. We got two Maple Bacon Croissant Donut, one Tree Leches Croissant Donut, one Glazed Croissant Donut, one Oreo Donut, and one Brooklyn Kreme. I think the Brooklyn Kreme is my favorite; it's not stuffed with a pudding/custard, but a fluffy vanilla filling that was similar to a frosting. SO GOOD. read more
The quintessential donut spot in NYC. Perfect for grabbing something on your morning walk to work or honestly in my case, a cute little date stop with friends or your boo. The donuts aren't expensive at all and the vibe inside is super aesthetic. Just an easy, good energy kind of place to pop into. read more
This one is a little bit more modern than the other one that's pretty close by. There's plenty of counter space and the inside is very clean. You could never go wrong with a French Cruller from the Donut Pub - airy, fresh and filling. The employees in this particular location are so friendly and greet you with a smile. read more

We decided to try their version of a cronut- the combination be a doughnut and a croissant . We took the sugar coated one - I didn't think it was great (missing the filling you get in the Dominique Ansel cronut ). My wife did enjoy it though . So this is a 3.5 star review really read more

Bacon donut was a bit weird but not bad for creativity. Tiramisu donut was nice although the donut was very airy. They didn't have many seats or places to eat your donut so thats minus. And they had so many flavors to try so I think I'll come again. read more

Pass by here so often and I finally went in to try. I'm pretty basic and if they can a glaze well then I'm happy. But the other French toast and apple one is very good too. I would def recommend here since my favorite place in west village closed. This is my new place to go for donuts. They even have dog donuts too. read more
I'm just a girl--I love a sweet treat at any time of the day. The Donut Pub has never let me down. Delicious donuts available 24/7! They are never lacking in flavors/varieties so whatever you're craving will definitely be there. My favorites are the s'mores donut (this one's super messy but it's worth it) or the marble cake donut. This spot is also adorbs--there's an ice cream/old school parlor vibe but modern. read more

Ambiance: The interior was very cool and had neon signs. It gives off the feel of a retro diner/coffee shop (except with donuts). They also have regular food (i.e. sandwiches, bagels) and beverages such as coffee, matcha, juice, etc. Price: There's many different types of donuts (i.e. cake, ring), with unique flavors as well (i.e. s'mores cronut, creme brulee donut, etc). Most donuts are $3.00, with the croissant donut being $5.50. Texture/taste: I really wanted to try the tiramisu croissant donut, but chose to get the French toast croissant donut ($5.50) this time instead. Cronuts are a bit thicker than the average donut, so if you're craving more of a dessert, definitely go for the cronut (although they are a bit more expensive than the regular donut). It has a crispy and flaky texture, and was pretty accurate in modeling after a French toast taste. The taste was sweet, but not overly sweet. The cream on top was delicious and had a cinnamon-ny flavor. There's also a filling inside, but it's not too much like some other donut places that have filling inside the donut. read more
Despite the place being called The Donut Club, they actually sell more than just donut holes. For example, they've paninis, breakfast sandwiches, pastries, croissants, bagels, and egg sandwiches. Conveniently, it's located right by the 6/R/W trains so it's extremely easy to get to. Always have wanted to stop and go in whenever I have passed by so many times in the neighborhood. And, I finally decided to after bring curious for a long time. Ambiance wise of the inside is set up similar to a diner but more casual and not uptight unlike an actual sit-down kind of diner. Makes me feel super welcoming to the space. You can choose to grab-and-go or sit down by the purple countertop stools. You can hang your bags and jackets on the hook under the bar table. Additionally, there're some standing round tables against the wall. There's an outlet by the standing tables but not each outlet is working so check to see before charging your phone. Very fast service from friendly and helpful staff. I just had lunch not long ago, so only got myself a mango juice w/o ice upon request. Staff weren't annoyed or anything when I'd asked for no ice and didn't charge extra either. No donuts or pastries for me despite The Donut Pub being famous for their donuts. Maybe I'll get some donuts to go when I stop by Chelsea again. Will update on the taste next time. Back to the mango juice, it's pretty refreshing on a humid day. Solid donuts with some interesting flavors! Got the Smores cronut, Maple cronut, and Fruity Pebble donut to split with my sister. I'm not a chocolate girlie so my personal favorite was the maple cronut (croissant donut), which was flaky and had a decent amount of maple frosting. I also liked the fluffiness of the fruity pebbles yeast donut- they really did not skimp on the pebbles either. My sister's favorite by far was the S'mores, which had a marshmallow in the center. Here you'll find the biggest and best selection of donuts - the tiramisu and strawberry croissant donuts are amazing. They even have a good selection of gluten free donuts and pastries. A fun atmosphere that feels like an old fashioned diner with countertop seating. I like to come here for an oat milk latte and gluten free chocolate donuts! read more
I have not had a fresh donut in a while. The Donut Pub has a crispy texture to their donuts that gives it a bite that is extremely sweet and satisfying. The service was fast and consider. I love Donut Pub but I couldn't not give this location 5 stars because for some strange reason they cordoned off half the shop. I saw customers leaving because there were no seats at counter. I don't like drinking and eating while standing. Very weird customer service choice! Donuts and coffee were fantastic as always. read more

SERVICE - located off of Broadway ave and Astor pl - plenty of indoor seating at bar or small tables - servers are very friendly and helpful in choosing options - good for a casual sweet treat MENU - variety of donuts - all nut free, vegan and gluten free options available - well priced ($3 per donut) FOOD - vegan blueberry (7/10): this was the most popular of the vegan options. The texture of the donut is denser and almost feels like a cupcake. There is not much oil on the donut. In terms of flavor, it is very sugary and the blueberries do not do much to cut the sweetness. - vegan pumpkin spice (5/10): this was my least favorite of the three that we got only because it did not have a strong pumpkin spice taste. I was hoping for a strong hit of cinnamon but instead mostly tasted vanilla. - vegan chocolate glazed (8/10): I really liked this donut. The chocolate was rich and dark which countered the sweetness of the donut. WOULD I GO BACK? If you are looking for a quintessential donut shop, then yes. read more

Stopped in here and they have quite the assortment of unique donut flavors, some of them of the croissant variant. Service was really good. A bunch of people looking around figuring it out, but the guys behind the counter were on top of things once people said they were ready. The donuts themselves are pretty good. Some of them were a little dry. Kinda a little pricey, but that's to be expected for boutique donuts. The donuts - delicious! Great cake and flavor. The cronuts were decent but tasted a little stale but I recognize I went late at night. The service though, was 10/10. He was super patient and helpful and even gave us a few munchkins on the house which were so yummy. Would definitely go back for the marble donut! read more
Sure cute interior which is noticeable from the window! This is what got my attention and my business. Very colorful! Tons of donut options! However the donuts were very mid. Kinda dry. I also purchased a blueberry muffin and asked for it to be warmed up. Only the outside was warm. The inside wasn't warm and was super dry. Everything was pretty dry. I also ordered a coffee. The coffee too was very mid. It tasted like it came from an old Keurig machine with tap water. I cashier was super friend which made a difference. He suggestion the blueberry muffin and immediately could tell it was dry. He gave me another one but that one too was also pretty dry. Not very many blueberries in it either. For the pricing, and how the place looked I was hoping for a lot better. Unfortunately, it was great for IG and that was about it. I would of rated it lower but because the staff was nice, it help give another star to the review read more

A great alternative to other bakeries that serve cronuts. They have a variety of flavors and a really cute diner like set up. Staff was friendly and the donuts were all reasonably priced. This is a good stop for a quick sweet treat. read more

Is there a recommended window to have the most options to choose from? I know the doughnut plant tends to close once they run out of donuts.
Every time I've gone, they have been fully stocked. I've gone at after 12 pm mostly.
