I ordered mango and yuzu. Both were too sweet and had one dimensional flavor and textures, not refreshing per their stated flavors. Even if their appearances take effort, they don't look pretty enough for me to forgive what goes in my mouth. I'm used to having patisseries with many layers and elements. Mango's sponge probably only took up 20% of the bottom, because I barely had bites of it. Most of my bites didn't have any. I didn't like how liquid the filling was. It didn't exactly ooze out but just melted into a puddle in my mouth. Yuzu looks pretty with the pink and yellow glaze, but it didn't go with the realistic fruit theme. I chose it for the flavor combination which is strawberry, yuzu, and guava. This was slightly better in terms of flavor variety in the mouth. The flower on top had a weird off putting flavor. The bottom crispy rice apparently is supposed to be chocolate but it came out plain. It was tasteless anyway, so not effective in terms of flavor or texture.

I received the drink very quickly, with a short wait for the sandwich. She was very friendly and helpful. The sandwich held up well during my 15-minute commute to the office. It is a really indulgent sandwich, with each bite revealing the sweetness and butteriness of the maple crueller, the saltiness of the thick cut bacon, and the savoriness of the cheese and the eggs as the yolks popped. I sipped the cold brew in between bites to cut the richness. It was a very satisfying meal. The Lumberjack is not something I would recommend you eat every day, but it's good as an occasional treat. The quality of the shot was excellent, smooth, bright, and really clean. The bar setup itself is super unique and very minimalist. They are running a really interesting under the counter espresso machine where the main bulk of the equipment is hidden away, leaving just these sleek, minimal group heads rising up from the counter. It was my first time seeing a machine of that style in person, and it looks incredibly sharp. I would absolutely come back here next time I'm in the area.
