    Candy coronaaaaa

This was my first time here, stopped by after a birthday party nearby and ended up having a great time. I even met someone from my home state, which made the night even better. The bartender was funny, friendly, and added to the overall atmosphere. It's definitely more of an upbeat dive bar, and the food was solid. I got the wings with a special sauce, and paired it with a candy Corona. This place is a great late-night spot to grab a bite and meet new people. Will definitely be back!

Upon taking my seat at the bar, there was no acknowledgment, no greeting, no menu brought, no "What are you having to drink?" Nothing, I just sat for maybe 10 minutes without being acknowledged at all. I asked a worker for a menu and she gave it to me. After glancing over and finding something I wanted, I waited for the worker to come back. She went behind the bar and never came back to my end. I asked another worker if it was ok for me to order with him. He said yes, I ordered and he asked if I wanted anything to drink. I said sure I'll order it separately from the food, and I'll take some water to sip on while I decide. He went on to say something along the lines of "well you can order your drink right here, it's a bar. Bars where drinks are ordered. -_-" I intended on paying cash but he asked for a card. Ok, maybe they are used to keeping tabs open from past experiences. He took my card and never returned it. I decided I no longer wanted the drink and just sipped the water. When it was time to pay I pulled my cash out and the bartender tells me that my $15 burger is $20 and some change total. I asked how is that possible and is there automatic gratuity? He looked confused (playing it off I'm sure) and I told him even with taxes that amount would be incorrect. He went on to talk to someone behind the bar, then came back and gave me the actual amount of $16 and some change. He said he gave me his employee discount, which was obviously not true because with taxes, that is the amount the meal would have come to. I still tipped him a lousy $2 for effort. I truly feel I was judged when I sat at that bar, despite carrying an almost $200 purse. Or was it my race?? Who knows, smh.... Also, a tip to anyone ordering the Big Easy. It has hot sausage mixed in so make sure to order it well done. I ordered medium well and had to put it in the air fryer at home. You can consume hot sausage not fully cooked, but I definitely do not advise you to do so. It was pretty good and the sweet potato fries were pretty good also. But, not worth returning. In all, I DO NOT recommend this spot to anyone, unless you know someone working here or someone that is a regular.

Great open bar and eatery on Front Street. This was our first stop after getting into town and it did not disapoint. The list of craft cocktails (Mai Tai's!) is beyond incredible. Got the fish fry where the menus says "local catch". It was mahi-mahi the night we were there and incredible. Live music plays even in the mornings. This is one of those must stops when in Lahaina.

food good but Alexis behind the bar was rude asf obviously she was having a bad day and she decided to take it out on customers who paying their hard earned money !!!!!!

I think I am going to be night life crawler. Place close at 2-3 am for the late night people

The black and gold wings are fire! The drinks I'm not a big fan, but it's a cool lil bar when everything is close and you're hungry!

I am a big fan of the schooner salad, which I get without ham. They have baked potatoes as big as your head that are always cooked to fluffy perfection. It is small, so you may have to wait a few minutes, but it is definitely worth it. They have tables inside and outside. There's also bar seating available. The cocktails are delicious and the staff is always friendly and welcoming.

Unfortunately, the customer service was a completely different experience. When I walked in and said I was there to pick up an order, the man and woman behind the bar looked at me strangely, whispered to each other, and then asked for my name. After confirming it, the gentleman only told me the total. No greeting, no smile, and I wasn't asked if I wanted to order a drink or anything else. When the woman handed me my food, I asked if I could have some ketchup. She responded with an attitude, saying, "There's some in the bag." I thanked her and left. When I got back to my work van, I opened the bag and found there was only one packet of ketchup. The food was excellent, but the service left me feeling very unwelcome. Based on how I was treated, I couldn't help but feel like I was being judged differently because of my ethnicity. I can't say for certain that was the reason, but that's honestly how the interaction made me feel. I hope management takes customer service seriously because everyone deserves to feel welcomed and treated with respect.

I've been coming here for about 6 or 7 years now, and they are easily in my top three. The vibe? Dive bar, laid back, no fuss... but the FOOD? Don't sleep on it. Their menu is solid and I still haven't made it through everything yet. I've had the wings, which we actually got this visit but ate them so fast we didn't even get a picture. That should tell you enough right there. I've had the pizza, and my husband usually goes for a burger. Never any complaints. They've got plenty on tap and the drinks hit too. I love a good Electric Lemonade, but this time I kept it simple with an Angry Orchard. Now let's talk about what keeps me coming back... The steak. We got our old faithful, one of their signature steaks, the 10oz petite ribeye. This is exactly what made me fall in love with Turtle Bay in the first place. Normally it's around $13.95, comes with a twice stuffed potato and a slice of garlic bread. A DEAL. This time it was a little higher, but still under $15, which honestly is still more than fair with how prices are these days. And when I say it be hitting... it be hitting. Only reason this visit didn't get a full 5 stars? My steak was cooked a little over my liking. I usually go for medium, and this one leaned more done than I prefer. Not horrible, just not my usual perfection. But everything else? Still solid. The staff is always nice, always welcoming. I've never had a bad experience with them, and that matters. And I already know I'm coming back because I keep hearing the crawfish is FIRE. Yeah... I need to see that for myself. This is my happy place. Open 24/7, consistent, affordable, and just a real gem in the French Quarter. The Bay is Babe. Period.

We ordered the Cochon Muffaletta, which was huge, packed with flavor, and definitely a must-try. The mac & cheese is an absolute MUST--creamy, cheesy, rich, and easily one of my favorite things we ordered. The beer was great too and paired perfectly with the food. The atmosphere is casual, lively, and exactly the kind of place you want to experience while in New Orleans. 5/5 -- great food, great beer, and absolutely worth the visit. I cook a lot of both at home--I'm someone who is dedicated enough to my Louisiana cooking to order Steen's syrup from Louisiana to my Florida doorstep even though Florida makes perfectly good cane syrup in its own right. (Side note: any New Orleans restaurant you venture to serving pain perdu with maple syrup and not Steen's--ask what the hell they're even doing.) Like most worthwhile restaurants, the menu here changes up. The specials as well as their famous sandwiches seem the way to go and I got the fried shrimp with bread and butter pickles. Exceptional--a small amount, it may have even been a starter but regardless was perfect for me. The sandwiches other diners had on their plates were large and looked delicious just glancing around at other tables. Everything comes up fast and the atmosphere is . . . just ideally New Orleans. It feels all the way "working CBD lunch" yet unhurried, a reflection of Cochon's greatness but scaled down and with utterly no pretense. There's simply a real sense of both care and expertise in everything done here no matter how simple or complex. Beyond all else, they're doing what they love here with no scaling back or dressing up to make it anything else. A winner through and through.
