My fiancé and I were on the hunt for a jeep and we found the one for us at down under auto sales. As soon as we got there brad threw us the keys and let us take a solo test drive! Of course we fell in love the jeep was in awesome condition. Brad made the process so easy and everyone in the office was friendly and fun. This was our first time buying a used car and I couldn't imagine it going any smoother. We are moving to CO in a few days so just to be sure I took the jeep to a mechanic to get checked out. Everything came back clean and working great!! Thank you down under auto!

The vehicle was reasonably priced from the start, Tommy was extremely helpful and even got new tires put on while I filled out paperwork.

**STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP -- ABSOLUTE CON ARTISTS!**…read more These people are completely dishonest and deserve to be formally investigated. It all started when I brought my truck in for a routine oil change and was charged $120. Agreeing to that was the worst mistake I've ever made. Less than two weeks later, my truck alerted me that it was low on oil. I called **Daniel** to inform him, added oil myself out of fear of damaging the engine, and brought it back in. When I picked it up, the truck smelled so strongly of burning oil that we had to drive with the windows down. I called back--**Daniel** wasn't in that day--and it turned out they had spilled excess oil all over my engine. That should have been my first massive red flag. Soon after, the oil light came back on. I called **Daniel** again, and he told me to bring it in. He tried to convince me the truck had an oil leak, but I knew that was impossible--my driveway is brand new, and there hasn't been a single drop of oil on it. Losing 3 to 4 quarts of oil would leave a massive puddle. The "leak" **Daniel** showed me looked like someone literally wiped fresh oil onto an underbody part with a finger. Despite my instincts, **Daniel** insisted he was right, so I went against my common sense and paid $1,500 for the repair. A week after picking it up, the exact same low-oil issue happened again. Nothing was fixed--he just lied to take $1,500 from me. They then held my vehicle for two weeks without offering a loaner or rental. When I finally reached out to **Daniel** to ask for an update, he had the nerve to tell me I needed to pay for *another* oil change. I refused to pay another cent for a $1,500 job that wasn't done right. To make matters worse, when I got the truck back, the oil life monitor was only at 50%, making me suspect they only put half the required oil in. **Daniel** told me to just drive it for 3,000 miles or 3 months. Barely two weeks later, the exact same problem returned. I brought it back a fourth time, demanding a resolution. They kept my truck for a full week and did absolutely nothing--I had to be the one to call **Daniel** again to find out what was happening. After holding my truck for over three weeks total and taking $1,500 of my money, **Daniel** claimed this was suddenly a "new problem" that required more charges. How is it a new problem when it's the exact same issue I brought it in for originally? Now, **Daniel** wants me to pay for a brand-new engine or pay his mechanics $4,000 just to tear the current engine down. **AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP AT ALL COSTS.** They are con men, completely incompetent, and a total ripoff. I am sharing this everywhere, and I will be reaching out directly to Chevrolet corporate to ensure **Daniel** and this service department are held accountable for ruining my truck!

This is the type of dealership that will sell you a problem and not fully disclose it. (2009 GTI,…read more140k miles, ~$8,000) I was told the car had a carbon fiber dash and hood. In reality, the "carbon fiber" dash was just a stick-on overlay, and the hood was standard aluminum. I was also told the rear window issue was a simple wiring problem they wouldn't fix--but that turned out to be inaccurate. Within two days of driving, the car developed a misfire on cylinder 1. The codes were being cleared prior to the test drive, which allowed the issue to go unnoticed. I was also told the car had a "tune," but no details were provided. After looking into it, it appears to be a basic Stage 1 tune with a blow-off valve, along with heavily worn K&W coilovers. After purchase, I ran my own vehicle history report (which the dealership declined to provide) and found the car had been in a prior accident. Further inspection showed the rear door had been replaced with one from a different model year, which explains the window issue. There was also body filler used to cover a significant dent instead of properly repairing it. The repaint quality is poor, with visible drips and missed areas. Even the stock rims appear to have been repainted to match. Overall, this was a very misleading buying experience. I strongly recommend doing your own inspection and pulling a vehicle history report before purchasing anything from here.

He also was kind enough to assist me in scheduling a followup first service. They performed an overdue oil change. SA Jade was not only a great conversationalist, she also ensured that the protocol was followed and was able to grant an exception to the rule. Loaner vehicle was a joy to drive while my vehicle was in service. Overall a seamless experience and would definitely recommend over certain San Antonio centers. When I…read morecalled Saturday morning, I was upfront that I was at the beginning of my shopping process and wasn't coming in to purchase a car that day. Alexander asked for my name and phone number and specifically explained that having an appointment meant he could contact me if the car sold or anything changed before I made the drive. After my son's soccer game, we drove 50 minutes across town and arrived about 25 minutes late. I immediately found Alexander and apologized for being late. His response was essentially, "We weren't sure you were coming, so the car is blocked in." He pointed us toward a different Porsche sitting on the showroom floor, where my son and I sat unattended for the next 10-15 minutes. I eventually found Alexander again and asked if we could at least go see the Taycan I had come to drive. He walked us out into the nearly 100-degree parking lot. When I asked if we could get inside the car, he said he would go get the key and disappeared. After another 10-15 minutes of my son and me standing around outside waiting, we finally went back inside--where we found Alexander sitting at his desk talking with another couple. At that point I went directly to the sales manager and explained the entire sequence. To his credit, he offered to help, but by then I had to leave for my next appointment. Alexander later called and apologized and offered to bring the car to me, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, after I told him I was available Sunday from noon to 6:00, he later texted asking whether I was available at 9:45 a.m. I had a dramatically better experience at Porsche North Austin, where the staff spent considerable time talking with me about the cars and the Porsche brand despite knowing I wasn't buying that day. I came to Porsche South Austin genuinely interested in putting a Taycan on my shopping list. Instead, after a scheduled appointment, a 50-minute drive, and bringing my son along, I left without even sitting in the car I had come to see. I won't be back.
