We also split a piece of blueberry pie, which is a solid contender in the rankings on the island. My only suggestion is to slice the roast beef thinner and use a softer bun. Service was very quick. The chicken that they use in their wraps are these hard, dry, unseasoned, diced chicken cubes, which were not very good. The wraps are bland because they don't put a lot of sauce. The chicken Caesar wrap was a 6/10. The ginger chicken wrap was a 5/10. This place is amazing! The food is so good and affordable! We got two wraps which they were able to customize to be dairy free and they gave us chips! The clam chowder was also so very affordable at $9 for 16 oz when the other restaurants are charging nearly $20 for a cup! I highly recommend this little deli. Open early and closes late. All the foods were lightly seasoned, but full of flavors. So so so fresh and tasted healthy. Cheapest prices for a lobster roll in town, but then again the size per price matches. The lobster roll ($15.95) is on the smaller end, but service is fast and perfect for a grab-and-go. We ordered two warm lobster rolls with butter and they came wrapped up with a bag of chips - we also got the potato salad ($3.50). The buns could have been toasted more - they were still soft (wonder if they pre-make them so they sit there and the bread loses the toast?). Giving this deli 4 stars because I suspect they are a local business and can appreciate that! For their sandwiches themselves I would truthfully give them 3 stars as I think they're honestly only as good as a super market sub while you're paying deli prices (also over priced since Bar Harbor is so touristy). I suspect that people come here if they aren't wanting to pay for the overpriced restaurants in the area or want food to take into Acadia NP. You are better off going to the super market a few blocks down and getting more food for your money. The bread and meats were very low quality and not very flavorful. Also I found it interesting that they seem to advertise lobster rolls and lobster stew quite a bit but in the 30 mins it took to stand in line, order and get my sandwich I didn't see a single person get lobster. read more

This place looks like a hole in the wall but the sandwitchss are fresh and tasty! I had thr corn beef while my mother got the turkey sandwitch. The turkey was like real turkey breast not the stuff that you get at a supermarket deli. The corn beef was also fresh. The service was quick even with a line out the door. The only downside is no seating indoors but that's OK because there are benches all over the place outside and you are a quick walk to the harbor if you want to eat while boat watching. read more

We took our sandwiches to the top of Cadillac Mountain for lunch with a view. They have the best Thanksgiving Day sandwich, which I call the Gobbler. Real Turkey, stuffing, cranberry, cheese and Mayo on white bread. It was epic. My done had the Italian, and my husband got a California Wrap. Good food. Shady business practices. Last night the boy got lobster roll, he liked it a lot. Today we went back for salads. Both good portion sizes and yummy. Don't love that the ranch was not homemade (ranch packets) but I'll let it slide. The problem is that the brunette lady at the register overcharged and when asked, didn't remedy the mistake. She said these are the manager's rules. I asked for a house salad ($7.50) and a scoop of tuna on top. She charged me $15 for that- when I first asked her about it she dodged the question. Then, she said it's the manager's rule to charge essentially the price of a tuna sandwich for a scoop of tuna on a salad. Her justification was that this is the cheapest place to get a lobster roll. One of the less expensive and better places to get a lobster roll. They come in 4 ways: buttered, mayo, no mayo, and tarragon mayo. The mayo and tarragon mayo are satisfying but we haven't tried the butter one. The amount of meat and quality of meat is usually on the upper end of what we've had. Also it comes with chips. There isn't seating but that's typical in a deli, there are benches out front and beautiful green yards both ways. read more
