    Exhausted and hungry!!
    Nina C.

This is such a gem of a late night spot. After an exhausting wednesday at Cedar point we arrived back in Cleveland pretty late and were looking for something tasty and hearty for our hungry bellies. The place is right downtown, there's a bit of riffraff in the streets outside but that's to be expected in this area. The place itself has nice cold AC and has some tables if you want to hang around and enjoy your food onsite. I was never a huge fan of calzones as they are normally so big and so much breading, but this was a completely different vibe. The staff was so kind, i wish i knew her name because she walked me through the whole menu, gave me the "hook it up" seasonings and a soda on the house, and brought all our bags to our table by hand. My mmmeatball calzone was amazing!! My fave of the bunch we all tried. Perfect balance of fresh cheeses including mozzarella ricotta and Parmesan, as well as seasoning meatballs and a soft bread pocket that wasn't overly big or fat. My friends spinner sticks was also delicious, even hours later when we reheated it. I also tried the chocolate chip cookie dough he but wasn't a huge fan, i guess it turns out the ones that are safe to eat just don't hit like the ones u aren't supposed to be eating hehe. When I'm back in Cleveland this will definitely be the late night move again and again! Thank you

The food is still excellent! I went there the first day they were open after being closed for several months. They are now under new ownership. Service was good, but they were literally unpacking boxes of product when I stopped in. Everything seemed very clean and the business card of the health inspector who gave them approval to open was still sitting there. I will re review after they are open a few weeks.

The dough seemed to be more bread like. Almost like a pita then pizza crust. Like a crustable except with pizza toppings.

The service was attentive, and several people checked on us throughout our meal. I ordered the lobster ravioli, and my daughter ordered the pesto pasta and added chicken. Both dishes were excellent. The lobster ravioli was extremely flavorful, and my daughter really enjoyed the chicken with her pesto. This was some of the best Italian food I've had. This might not be saying a lot because I am from L.A. and we are not known for our Italian food. My only complaint was the bread. Most Italian restaurants offer complimentary bread for the table, but Mia Bella charges extra for it. That wouldn't bother me as much if the bread were something special, but it was extremely ordinary. It was warm, but otherwise pretty tasteless; no garlic, garlic butter, herbs, or anything else to make it memorable. I'd definitely skip the bread and order a legitimate appetizer instead. All in all, the experience was very strong, and I would definitely return.

We had the ricotta & honey crostini, which I'd quite literally rate a 10/10 and I am a strict grader. It was absolutely the best appetizer I've ever had at a restaurant and possibly the best bread I've ever had. The entrees were fantastic, despite a small portion for my ravioli and meatballs. I had some of my parents dishes too which were quite good. Overall I'd rate this place a 9.7/10 and will certainly be bringing my business back in the future!
