Called up BMW and their first appointment was 2 weeks away.. looking around at alternatives and came across Auto Envy.. they said bring the car in tomorrow and they will give me an assessment... Dropped the car off and later that afternoon they diagnosed bad oxygen sensors and the ignition coils also need to be replaced.. the cost of repair was about half the price BMW dealer quoted a year ago saying that the oxygen sensors were going back agreed to the repair and had my car back the next day running like new again.. This is a small mom/pop type shop that specializes in BMW repairs.. Friendly Staff, good prices, and great communication. Highly recommended if you need work done on your BMW!!!

Replaced the flywheel & clutch but did not replace a bearing that was a part of the repair. 3k miles later, the truck began giving trouble again. Difficulty shifting. I took it to a mechanic where I live (FL), and got the shifter fixed. $800 job. that was fixed but the shifting issues came back almost immediately, and this time accompanied by a chirping sound. I took the truck back & my mechanic asked more questions about the work I'd gotten done. I hadn't owned a car in the last 10 years so I didn't know anything. He encouraged me to call them and find out what kind of work was done so they could see if it was related to that and if there was a warranty on it. I called and got a rude person who made sure to tell me that they aren't the same ownership "so WEEE didn't do any work on the truck," she said. I asked if she could get me the information, she put me on hold for 10 minutes, then we got... disconnected. I called right back and got somebody much nicer, who told me what work they did, but was unable to email me any of the information and I guess also unable to find somebody who could do so for her. My mechanic had to call them to get them to send along the information we needed. Turns out all the issues were from the shoddy first job. Great. Better still, it would be covered by the warranty. Turns out labor there was like $300 cheaper than the place I go to now, so I'm not saying you get what you pay for. More that Precise offers a good value when they do the job well (new management, so maybe they do) I understand new ownership means that's not their fault. I am giving 2 stars instead of 1 because they didn't do the shoddy work. They just wouldn't help me at all when I needed them to. My truck is running great now, so I hope you find a mechanic as good as the one I have now. Maybe it's Precise. I don't know.

They managed to finish the inspection at about 9am with a pass. However, they found a small leak in my power steering fluid hose. He called me and I accepted that they go ahead and order the hose and I'd get it done there. I am very pleased with the service I received and how knowledge Ken was with my car. He also took pictures of the hose and everything surrounding it so hubby could see for himself. Side story: I had taken my vehicle to another shop close to work and they quoted me $700 for the job. They did not explain anything to me and quite frankly I wanted another opinion). I will be coming here from now on! When the quote finally came back, the parts they recommended were marked up 100% -- a part I could source for around $500 was quoted at $1,000 through them. I asked if they would consider working with customer-provided parts if I waived any warranty on those parts and only had them warranty the labor. They said no, citing company policy. I understand that many shops have this rule, but with a markup this extreme, it felt unreasonable. I left without having the work done. If you're considering this shop, just be prepared for very long waits and potentially significant markups on parts.
