I had called around to multiple veterinary clinics all over the San Fernando Valley, and not only did they have the best pricing, but they were also able to accommodate me the very next day, which meant everything during such a difficult time. They treated my dog with dignity and treated me with patience and care when I needed it most. I truly felt supported and never rushed. I will be filing a class action against this veterinary office and asking a judicial officer to please help us. Stop them from injuring and hurting any other animals devastating any other families. Do not take your dogs or pets here. Do not leave your animals alone with anyone not even doctors or specially, their technicians or assistants Stay with your family members and your animals. If all they have to do is weigh them. Do not leave your loved ones alone with any medics unless they are going to the surgery room to the OR Do not let the any tech, or anyone take your dog to the back to weigh them alone! The doctor - without actually doing any testing - determined it was arthritis and began giving him librela injections to manage pain. In Addition, they said his kidneys were malfunctioning and put him on medication for that. The limping was not getting better, and he had a growth near his limping leg so I went back. They told me the growth was just a lipoma (again no testing) and just said "the injections don't work for every dog". The growth kept getting bigger so I decided to get a second opinion. First thing they did was an xray and were APPALLED that McClave never did one. After several diagnostic tests - the growth and the limping were due to CANCER. My dog had cancer for the better part of a year and McClave brushed it off as arthritis. Secondly, the second vet decided to repeat his blood work since McClave was clearly incompetent. Kidneys? Fine. They told me to immediately stop the medication for his kidneys because his kidneys were fine. Not only that. They told me the medication he was on for his kidneys is actually a heart medication. On top of that, the librela injections they had been giving him were determined to NOT be recommended for senior dogs by the FDA because the negative side effects were too great. Just complete incompetence all around. I'm still in shock at how wrong they got it. DO NOT COME HERE.

Besides all the regular check ups, Dr G. has performed 2 substantial surgeries on my pup in the last 8 years, and has been extremely kind, providing valuable reassuring step-by-step updates throughout, especially aware that I had lost my beloved first dog, (with a different vet), when he did not make it through the anesthesia... In the 8 years Dr G. has been our one and only vet; everyone I have sent to Dr G. has fallen in love with her, and has thanked me for the referral. I trusted Dr G and her small compassionate team with the euthanasia of my precious second dog, Handsome. She is truly an Angel on Earth. At her Chatsworth location, I love that she's created a lovingly cozy "home environment" for the euthanasia experience. That it so needed during that deeply emotional time, and more veterinary offices ought to follow her example. I found her many years ago when I was dissatisfied with a busy veterinary front desk in Sherman Oaks, after they had made errors in my first dog's chart. Unfortunately he passed, and I learned that finding the RIGHT professional truly makes ALL the difference. So yes, I drive from Sherman Oaks. Out of nowhere, they recommended that my puppy gets a vaccine booster shot. On the basis of recommendation, we went ahead with the booster but the this office made a error in reading all the documents I provided (they did take all the coduments and made copies of them). My puppy didn't need to have another booster for a year. Spent money on unnecessary procedure and I felt so guilty for putting my puppy through a shot he didn't need. On top of that, they asked me to come back in a month later for ANOTHER BOOSTER SHOT!! They are very eager to schedule your next appointments but wasn't competent to take proper care of my puppy.
