Also it was slightly concerning that the technician did not wear or offer to wear a mask or shoe coverings in my home. When he arrived he gave me a very reasonable price and explained what he needed to do. When he got started it turned out that the problem was more than he expected. Our original door rollers did hold up for over 20+ years but everything eventually wears out and needs fixed or replaced and this was one of the projects that needed attention. After a quick door check by Yaniv to verify what the door needed,. Yaniv proceeded to give us a breakdown of the cost to replace our door rollers. We asked to look at the materials they would be using prior to making a decision of what we choose to have installed - absolutely No hard sale. By no means was this a cheap project for us or our budget but we generally choose projects or materials that will hold up, provide us with as little maintenance as possible, can or will impact quality of life and this was one of them. Taking into consideration the weight of the door and the original door had a single roller we ended up choosing the dual rollers. The choice of the roller will determine your final cost as it varies by the type. The rollers offered were all metal, choices were for a basic single (1) roller, mid line dual (2) rollers or dual (2) stainless steel rollers. To help plan for the cost of the roller replacement with no damage our project ranged from approximately $375-$525 which is somewhat in line with other quotes received from several phone calls & emails and Yes we could have gotten this done a little cheaper by a handyman but this company was the right choice for us. Just account for a 4% additional charge If using a credit card. After the installation was complete Yaniv gave us a quick demo on how to do weekly maintenance on the door and track by vacuuming & using WD40 Dry Lube with PTFE going forward. Overall from start to finish the experience and workmanship was superb. No more struggling to open or close the patio door, it now works so smoothly and requires very little effort that the household members will now need to be retrained otherwise the previous force to open would send the door flying and potential breakage.
