We did get our chance to sing and it was a bit wild, in a good way. Great singers/horrible singers, most importantly, a supportive crowd. Pro Tip: Show up early and get your request for karaoke in. It started getting busy about an hour in, then you're looking at a long wait. The drinks are well made and not too expensive. The food is surprisingly good. The Gainsbourg is a cool spot with a cool vibe, and felt like a neighborhood favorite. I ordered escargot and sauteed mushrooms for a pre dinner snack. Escargot was lacking flavor, but it didn't bother me. Love my snails. The mushrooms were delicious. Ordered steak frites for dinner and the Copper River salmon special. Both were delicious ... My friend asked about her wings, and he stated it's very busy when football is on, and they only have one fryer. It took over an hour, and she even tried to cancel her order. The bartender was not friendly and pretty negative from the moment we walked in. Overall, the food is good with large portion sizes, which is a bonus. However, the service was disappointing.
