I could not have had a better experience with Dragon Air Services this morning! The heat went out yesterday (not ideal in 40 degree weather) and he was at my house first thing in the morning, even 5 minutes early! Another company could have easily charged much more to fix my heater, and probably found a few extra parts that needed to be replaced, but Dragan was honest about the issue being minor and fixed it extremely quickly and for much less $$ than I would have guessed. These guys do a fabulous job! They are able to figure out the problem and fix it in a short period of time! Also, the price is very reasonable. Of course our A/C went out after 5pm on the hottest summer day of the year so far. Dragon Air Services gave me free estimate to install new a/c unit. Their price was very reasonable and installation was done as per schedule. This was last June. Today my a/c stopped working due to a/c line backup and technician was here in 30 minutes. The line was unclogged free of charge and my a/c was back on. Great service. I originally called a well-known company to diagnose and fix my AC issues. Boy, was that a mistake. The original company said I needed a new indoor coil, and had a few other problems, leaving me with an enormous quote. That company left, and I researched a local company instead. I found these guys and they were amazing. They came out, found the problem quickly, fixed it, and were friendly and honest. I also did not actually need an indoor coil, and these guys could have taken advantage of me and agreed with the previous quote, BUT they did not. They were honest, fast, and friendly and I left paying much less than originally quoted by another company. These guys did not take advantage of me, and were honest. I am so happy with the service I received from Dragon Air. My heat went out during the night and I called them on Sunday morning. They said they would be here between 12 and 2 p.m. and knocked on my door at 12. I wasn't charged extra for a weekend service call and the issue was minor and I was only charged for a service call. Alek took the time to explain things about my unit, answered questions I had and recommended what filters to use for the best air output. Bunnara Hoy recommended Dragon Air Services when our older HVAC unit would not come back on after replacing and cleaning the air ducts. They went above and beyond figuring out the wiring that was sloppy from not being installed by a professional. They also quickly found the loose fuses. We contacted Dragon Air because of all of the glowing reviews on yelp. They were not wrong. Our only problem was one of our rooms was much warmer than the rest of the house. Dragon came out and very quickly pointed out that the position of the room, the older windows and the need for more insulation was the problem, not the HVAC unit. Excellent! Super quick response time. I contacted the owner directly at 6:00pm on Tuesday and he was at our house the next day. Dragon, himself made the service call. He walked me outside, troubleshooted the compressor while I was standing there, and explained everything he was doing. Turns out the capacitor was bad on our unit. Outdoor unit fan died Sunday morning. Called Dragon and they came right out. Alex diagnosed the problem explained in detail what needed to be done. Our AC unit is really old (1987) thought for sure this would be a big push for a new unit. NOT SO Alex told us what part was out and gave us a ball park price to replace. I called Dragon on Sunday afternoon and explained to him that it was our upstairs unit that quit working but our downstairs unit was cooling, and I asked for him to send someone during the next week to take a look at it. Our HVAC unit was working fine, and we had called another company for a routine semi-annual service. The other company told us that our entire HVAC unit had to be replaced for $9000, but we were suspicious and wanted a second opinion. We called Dragon's Air Services for that second opinion, without telling them that they were a second opinion. Dragon Air Services' technician, Aleks, came the next day. Aleks spent a good amount of time inspecting our unit, and gave a detailed accounting of the status of our system, and what he had fixed up. Based on Aleks' accounting and pictures of our unit, it became obvious that the other company hadn't even opened critical parts of our unit to service it properly! He also did not try to upsell me to buy a new unit when I asked him if I needed one. Dragan came out in the summer of 2017 and fixed my AC issues while working for another company. He was honest and very professional so when I turned on my AC a couple of weeks ago and no cold air came out I wanted to have him come back out. I noticed that Dragan has his own business now so I gave Dragon Air a call. I spoke with Aleks who came out within an hour or so. After the diagnosis Aleks gave me options including replacing the whole system and sent me some quotes later that evening. At no time did I ever feel pressured to make a decision one way or the other. I decided to go ahead and have them replace our 17 year old system and got it on their schedule. The day before installation Dragan and Aleks came out to remeasure and reinspect everything (Aleks took a look around while here initially) to ensure the equipment would be sized properly. The installation process was great and we are very happy with the decision we made to have them replace everything.
