A couple of pieces but mostly fried flour and not tasting chicken!

The honey walnut chicken was mostly flour fried . The prawns are a better choice. I have had it before and it was okay but this ends me ordering the chicken. I'm sticking with prawns!

I've been curious about this restaurant for a while, and we finally decided to give it a try this New Year's Eve. Searching for auspicious food to ring in the new year, I thought--why not indulge in a variety of Chinese dishes? I chose ten 'good luck' items, including beef, pork, fish, leafy greens, and a sweet dessert. When we picked up our order via DoorDash, a friendly staff member handed us our meals. My husband and I haven't had authentic Chinese food in quite some time--at least a year--so we were eager to see how it would taste. I'm happy to say that everything I ordered was bursting with flavor and truly hit the spot! It's possible the flavors stood out even more because it's been so long since we enjoyed real Chinese cuisine. One issue, however, was packing the items into bags. Some were heavier than others, which caused a slightly crushed container and leakage from pickup to home. Overall, we're excited to dine in soon to experience the ambiance and explore more dishes from the menu.

I have never had a bad dish here. They are prompt and kind. Answer my questions and accommodate my requests. Things are piping hot too. Ingredients are fresh. Dinners are large... always have leftovers .Glad we live close , because we go there often.

Shrimp Hong Kong Style Chow Mein

They have some of the best Hong Kong style chow mien I've ever had. Hot and sour soup was delicious.I ordered a cup of won ton soup and was a little disappointed that it was just broth and two won tons no other veggies in it but the wontons were decent. I will definitely be back to try other items. Very clean and staff is very nice.

General chick, almond chick, walnut shrip and house fried rice

Resturant clean. Food is very fresh. In addition service was excellent. Staff friendly. Best fried rice I've had in a long time.

I've been here a few times and the food has been really good. This time, not so much. The pork was so dry it crumbled when I ate it. The rest of the food was so bland and lacked flavor I couldn't eat it. There was heat but otherwise it just was flavorless. Bummed to see it take such a steep decline. Hoping this is just a one-time thing. It takes a lot to get a 2-star but the lack of service (only 2 folks working) along with flavorless food may keep me from here for a little while. ‍ Even better when I was finally approached about my meal she argued and essentially said I was wrong... lol okay... Moving on...

    The menu

My wife and I went to the Dragon Bistro tonight for some eggrolls and a beer. We ordered 2 Bud lights (we wanted Coors light) and an order of pork eggrolls. The Bud lights were on the menu for $4 when the bill came it said 2 Budlights $10 when I pointed it out to the waitress she went to the Manager and came back and said "the owner raised the price last week" . I told her I don't care about $2 but it is definitely illegal to list a price and then change the price after the service (or product) has been provided she said have a nice day.I took pics of the bill and menu but Yelp wont let me upload them for some reason, I will keep trying.

3.5-4 stars Got it to go. Crab Rangoon, chicken fried rice, sweet and sour chicken, hot garlic chicken Crab Rangoon was good! Bigger triangle pieces. Chicken fried rice was ok. Smaller portion that other places and kind of bland. Sriracha required. Sweet and sour chicken had good chicken and they packaged the sauce separately which is nice. But the sauce was a bit bland for me, another need for sriracha. Hot garlic chicken was the winner. Spicy and good flavor.

Sweet and sour sauce or what suppose to cover two orders.

I recently met up with a friend from high school here for lunch, and this visit was extra special…read morebecause we hadn't seen each other since we were about 17! A LOT of life has happened since then, so we definitely had plenty to catch up on. Neither of us had been to Bloom Thai before, but we both love Thai food, so we decided to give it a try. This place is definitely different from any Thai restaurant I've been to before. It's super small, with only a handful of tables. You order at the counter, grab your number, and find a table. They also have a big jug of cucumber water that was so refreshing! They didn't have my usual yellow chicken curry, so I decided to try something completely different--the drunken noodles. I honestly had no idea what I was ordering, but OH MY GOSH... I was in love with this dish! The flavors were fantastic, and they topped it with deep-fried basil. I'm not even kidding when I say I think I've dreamed about that crispy basil every day since! It was SO good! The food was definitely the star of the show for me, and I really enjoyed the atmosphere. I think this is such a fun little spot to meet a friend for lunch, especially if you want somewhere casual and different. That said, it is VERY small, so I personally wouldn't choose it for a family dinner with a bunch of picky eaters or rambunctious kids. The menu is also a little different than your typical Thai restaurant, so definitely keep that in mind. For dinner, I'd probably order it to-go and enjoy it at home. But for a girls' lunch or catching up with a friend? Absolutely! Great little find, and I will definitely be back for those drunken noodles and that amazing fried basil!

The husband, who was serving, checked in several times to make sure I had everything I needed. The chef also stopped by my table when she came out of the kitchen, which was such a thoughtful touch. The pork belly was very crispy(an additional fee), but too salty for my taste. The Pad Thai was good, although not the best I've had. The noodles were cooked well, and I enjoyed the flavor of the sauce. It did not come spicy, but chili sauce was available to add some heat. The spicy omelette tom yum soup had a great balance of mild spice and sourness, and it tasted very authentic. The texture of the fried omelette after soaking in the soup was not my favorite, but that may come down to personal preference. The Thai iced tea had a good balance of tea and condensed milk, although it was sweeter than I prefer. You order at the counter, and the food is brought to your table afterward. Water is self-service. They also have a helpful sign explaining the ordering and seating process for first-time guests. The restaurant was very clean, nicely decorated, and had a great ambiance. I especially enjoyed the small area showcasing the chef's history and journey. Overall, the warm service and welcoming atmosphere made the experience memorable.

There was a it of a rocky start because they gave our table to another party, which was smaller, so we all were bunched together at the front of the restaurant, which has a tight entry. It was intended for the party of 8. So we didn't have much elbow room to eat. I ordered the golden duck and my partner had basil rice with beef. My best friend ordered a lemon curry chicken that was so good I almost switched our plates. I actually really loved my food too. My partner enjoyed the rice but not the beef. I also had the crab wontons which were super yummy. Everyone pretty much loved what they ordered. They raved about the Thai tea. It truly would have been a five star experience had we been more comfortable. Also, they kind of just forgot about us after they dropped off our main courses. We sat so long without being checked on that none of wanted dessert anymore when quite a few of us were going to order some at first. I'd loved to try it more intimately with less people as they could have maybe just been overwhelmed. Other notes: Not overpriced. Parking wasn't exactly a breeze but I also didn't mind having to walk a bit. It's downtown so it was expected. Very busy, so maybe make a reservation or call ahead? There was outside seating. Bathrooms are not gender neutral. We visited on a Saturday. Happy eating !
