Recently had Josh and his crew out to do a job on my house, replacing old cast iron pipes under slab and pipe bursting a section of clay pipe in my yard that had root intrusion. These guys are the real deal, they arrived on time with a big crew of guys and got to work right away and finished a big job in 1 day (quicker than expected) I really appreciated that they got my clarification and approval on questions/decisions as the work went on and they were more than happy to address any issues I brought up. We hired Mr. Drains to fix a steady leak on the hose bibb in our backyard that was leaking under the house, and also to replace the old broken water shutoff valve into our home. Josh and his team were communicative and very professional, on time, and friendly, and did a good job explaining what they were doing. The hose bibb and water shutoff valves were replaced and work perfectly. The reason for the 3-star review, however, had to do with work that was not initially planned. During the water shutoff valve replacement, the team noticed that the main line into our front yard sprinklers had a slight leak, and Josh offered to repair it. After cutting out the pipe to the sprinkler system and several trips to Lowe's over multiple hours, he told me that he couldn't figure out how fix it, and to call a gardener instead. He left with the sprinklers completely disconnected. While I did appreciate the offer to fix it, I was pretty disappointed when he gave up and left the sprinklers in a more broken state than when he arrived. read more

I had a main line clog 6 months ago and another clog last week from toilet paper getting caught in my old, highly corroded 1962 cast iron pipes. It was time to repipe my drain lines before a ticking dreaded disaster on my "slab" foundation home. Upon multiple bids, I went with my gut feeling upon reading their great yelp reviews and talking with Josh to start work with Mr Drains. I discussed my concern with Josh that I did not want the best bid now to be surprised with excessive additional work charges later and he assured me he did not conduct business that way. A 2-way clean out was installed 2.5 ft deep from my driveway. From the clean out a more accurate camera inspection showed that more extensive work was required by opening up my half bath concrete over LVP flooring located behind the clean out. I was nervous at first, but Josh, and his crew completed the job smoothly. Installed were all new ABS drains in this half bath from where they shot the new Perma Liner from this access point upstream to my bathroom connections. Josh even showed me camera footage after the descale prior to the liner installation. They cut a small wall from the bathroom sink where they also installed new ABS to reinstate the liner to open up all connections. My kitchen stucco was removed to upgrade my kitchen clean out to a 2 inch where they descaled and applied epoxy coating down to where my kitchen drain ties with my laundry and meets my main line. Tony and Ishmael fixed my floors (luckily I had 2 boxes of my LVP floors), stucco, and drywall so I did not have to hire additional labor for restoration. Daily Josh and his crew came early and started work exactly on time. His huge crew completed the job in 3 days! Josh is a man of his words. Although the work got bigger than initially expected he did not charge me extra at all. I would definitely recommend Josh and his crew to family and friends for their hard work, reliability, communication, and excellent work! We had him come out on a Sunday (he didn't charge extra) and he spent a good hour scoping our sewer line which was old and blocked. He showed me places where the piping had deteriorated and explained all my options. I was collecting estimates for a main sewer line replacement or sleeve. Mr. Drains came out on Labor Day to run their pipe camera and give me an estimate. They gave me a fair price and said they could get started that day and finish by the next day. They had the 6' hole dug and exposed the lateral to the street within a couple hours. They came back the next day and did 80' of pipe bursting, epoxy sleeved the connection to the city sewer main, and replaced the cast iron lines under the house. I rarely give 5 stars but they were terrific at handling my complex plumbing needs. My main sewer drain had developed a leak where maybe 1-2 feet section had collapsed and needed to be replaced. They are pretty thorough but pricy. They claimed that the pipe under the house is damaged and they will make a tunnel under the house and access the pipe and replace the pipe but I really doubt that it is a good idea because the house slab will really give in if they tunnel under the house. read more

Needed a plumber to unclog my toilet, sent out request via Yelp ai projects and this guy replied within a minute and had the cheapest rates. He was quick to reply and message me and came within less than an hour. He finished the job quickly, was very friendly and professional and even gave me advice on my issue rather than just coming to fix it and leave. He took all the necessary steps to try to resolve it by looking at the clean out and helping me understand the issue and gave me advice to have someone scope out the pipes in the future to avoid the issue happening again. We had a sewer line blockage issue, so we looked up Mr Drains along with others from Yelp. Josh got back to us within 15 minutes from the getgo and showed up to the property within 1/2 hr or so. He promptly put his equipment to work. Sending the camera down the sewer line and quickly identifying the problem. All these were done free of charge. We discussed about the options and agreed on the price and schedule. He started working the next morning with crews of several. They cleaned the line with hydro jet, excavated the broken parts and replaced / repaired the line with liners. All in all the whole job took only two days. We are extremely happy with the results.
