I cannot recommend Chris highly enough. We dealt with a homeowner's worst nightmare when our house flooded first thing in the morning, and he came to our rescue immediately. He arrived quickly on the morning of the flood to cap the compromised waterline, which saved us from further damage and allowed us to get the water turned back on for the rest of the house. Beyond just fixing the immediate issue, he took the time to help me understand exactly why the flood happened, diagnosing that our reverse osmosis system had been installed incorrectly by a previous company. Many months later, when our home reconstruction was finally nearing completion, he came back to finish the job. Full story of accolades well deserved: After calling in with the complaint of rusty hot water, Chris and Greg came over to look at the current setup and deduced that the water heater was at the end of its lifespan. They explained that the cores of tank heaters will rust over time, especially in the presence of a water softener and without regular flushing. They further said that, while they could show me the rusty water by tapping the drain on the heater, it was better not to touch it, as it often is hard to get the drain closed again without leaks. So, we didn't touch it! (This is important to the story.) We talked about the pros and cons of replacing with another tank model or moving to a tankless system, and I said I would let them know soon what we decided. Early the next morning, I walked into the garage to find the water heater was leaking all over the garage! Can you believe the timing?! Again, we didn't touch the tank the previous day! I left a message for Chris, which he returned promptly. Chris and Greg went way above and beyond, coming over before another scheduled job to drain and demo the leaking water heater so we could let the area dry before installing the tankless system the next day. I set up an appointment for a non-emergency repair and I told Taylor's Plumbing that there was no rush. Taylor's Plumbing came out in 2 days, arrived on time, carefully wore protective things due to the Coronavirus, was professional, price was average and the work was excellent. Taylor's Plumbing is not a high-price plumbing business like others out there. Taylor owns his own business and has over well 10 years experience (how much over 10 years, I do not know). The owner is very knowledgeable about all plumbing issues, therefore I am going to have him return in about 2 months to get my water heater done to code. The last plumber did not do all things to code. So one thing I love about Taylor's Plumbing is that I know it will be done the right way the first time and TO CODE. Kudos to this business. As promised, it was Chris and his assistant again who came out for the actual job, not an anonymous crew--they do one job at a time, and stay with it until it's done. They worked hard to replace our street-to-house water line, and replaced our pressure valve in the garage, and replaced a rusted garden spigot, AND dug up our unused plastic irrigation piping, and within one morning had the new stuff in and the groundscaping restored so well you had to look hard to notice any difference. All for half the price of one of those big outfits with custom vans that are open 24/7 and can start immediately. It was well worth waiting a few days. Got home from a relaxing vacation to discover some plumbing problems, making me wonder how this happens when no one has been home for 10 days to break anything. I guess it's one of life's little mysteries like where did the other sock go. My toilet tank would no longer hold water and a shower head leaked so much and sprayed so many little streams of water, it could have been used as a lawn sprinkler. Called Taylor's Plumbing and they came out the next day with a scheduled time of 12 PM to 2 PM. The next day I was notified at 11 AM the plumber was 20 minutes away from my house! My toilet was fixed in about, no exaggeration, 5 minutes. For my shower head, the plumber drove over to Home Depot and picked up a new shower assembly, then installed it in record time. The total cost was extremely low. My wife is from a country where everything is inexpensive and she tends to think every price in the States is expensive. Not this time. She remarked on how inexpensive the bill was and made sure we kept the Taylor's Plumbing phone number on our refrigerator for that next plumbing problem that will inevitably occur. Really positive experiences with Chris. We've had him over three times and plan to do a fourth as part of our kitchen renovation. We first had Chris do a plumbing inspection before we bought our house and we're really glad we did. He was recommended by our real estate agent and was very easy to work with. Gave us an honest assessment and recommendations. During closing, we an issue come up regarding some old piping and Chris stepped in to provide a statement to get it taken care of quickly.
