The food is great here and the portion sizes are solid for the pricing. But the service is always mid to low quality. There are also no desert options, outside of a big cookie. The place is kept up well and it's very nice inside. Great place to watch sports games as well read more

Food was ok we asked about the Fried Bologna sandwich was it thick bologna she said yes. When it arrived looked like reg bologna from Oscar Meyer Lunch meat. He was not impressed. We are at the bar since there was 30-45 minute wait. Training staff was present in the bar area. Not very noisy could carry on a conversation without yelling at each other. Burgers are great. The chicken sandwich was as dry as a Popeye's biscuit. Make sure you have plenty of water. lol

After fleeing a local sports bar we found Drakes had the Mizzou game up in the bar. We came in around 1115, sat ourselves at the bar, and waited. We waited for a good 12 minutes before someone finally acknowledged our existence... half an hour into our visit we finally got the Bloody Mary we were after and put our food order in. I got the Salmon Nigiri, my friend got the Sriracha wings. Two more Bloody Mary's and a Mizzou victory later we were finally content. The bar area is a little cramped but a good place to watch a game. I especially like the roll-up door appeal to the bar, but would like to see some of the landscape replaced with floor so the tables could extend out on those nice days. For the food we give 5 stars; my friend even decided he'll bring his wife to Drakes. For the service we give 2. There were many employees standing around in the main area, but only two it seemed for the busier bar. I get that the bar was pretty busy, but at least acknowledge us and let us know you'll be with us soon. read more

I usually give a place at least two tries but I probably wouldn't give this a second try. Ordered sushi and miso soup. The soup came with our food. It tasted like water. I told server she could take that next time we saw her, which wasn't often. I ordered spicy sushi with tuna. Was brought a sushi with crab. When she came back finally I told her and she said yes you ordered with tuna. No apology or nothing. Took a bit to get the right sushi which was ok. The rice was so over cooked it was not like grains of rice but a solid white mush around the rolls. I was not brought either time a bowl for soy sauce or anything. Waited for quite awhile (by now my wife is done eating) to a bowl but she didn't come back. Finally I had to go to the bar and ask for one. I hate complaining and don't often post a negative review but this was our first time here and very disappointing to me. As I said, I doubt they get another try. read more

Food was ok. Not hot when we got it, it was room temperature. The restaurant was not very busy and it took over an hour to get our food for 2 adults and one child. Then our waitress was no where to be found and we sat with the check for another 20 minutes until a different server collected it after we sought someone else out. It was very busy but there are still plenty of places to sit . I had the Buffalo minis which were good but nothing out of the ordinary for 17 bucks. Wife had the southern chicken. She was not a fan , it was cooked on old oil and didn't have any flavor. I'm glad OFallon has a new option but it's really just slightly elevated chain restaurant food. Definitely wouldn't try sushi from a restaurant in O'Fallon MO. read more

Such a sub par experience. It took a good twenty minutes for the bartender to acknowledge us and ask if we wanted a drink. The food was gross, my salad was wilted and mushy. Went to Drakes for lunch which was are first time since it opened. We were seated at a high top in the bar area , which was fine until they turned on the fan which was blowing right at our table. Food came out and was getting cold before we could finish. I ask the waitress if they could turn the fan off and she said they could not nor did she offer to seat us elsewhere.
