Old school juice box with nothing but classics

I was a little hesitant at first because I read the reviews before going saying this place had bad customer service but when I got there the bartender was great and she was very friendly and nice, and so were the regulars there too , the bar was very old school dive bar the drinks there were super cheap . If you coming from outta town and heading to the Greek theater down the street and want to save money on drinks I say this place is your go to place for that !

In September we celebrate Paloma month.

The Drawing Room is a no-frills neighborhood dive bar with lots of charm. I stopped in to meet up with some friends for cocktails and conversations. It's dark & seedy inside and the wooden bar, vinyl booths, & jukebox give it an old school vibe. The drinks are cheap & stiff and they open at 8 am. What more can you ask for? LOL! I had a Paloma and a shot of Tromba Tequila. The Paloma was nicely balanced, refreshing, and exactly what I wanted. Shout out to bartenders Ashley & Christina! They are the best! Wish I lived closer because I'd be a regular.

The coolest dive bar with the coolest staff! Loved the halloween decorations they had, the jukebox, and the darts game they had. I ordered a paloma and it was sooo good! Also the bartender left us candy to take home!!

Well, well, well... Here I am at Drawing Room. A dive bar if there ever was one. It's dark, not fancy and it's rather small inside. The drinks are cheap as fuck and the smell of icky sticky occasionally floats into the place from the outside parking lot. It's a good little no frills place. Just keep the hipsters away, and I think this place will go on forever and retain that neighborhood feel.

Such an amazing spot. Feels like home. Buck (the bartender) is freaking awesome, and this neighborhood spot is unbeatable.

I know that sounds a little dramatic, but it just feels like a piece of... not LA, in LA. The vibe in there is how I wish so many places were. It's also extremely dimly lit, which I love so much. I can't stand overly bright bars, and this place is at the PERFECT level of that in my opinion. Also the fact that they are keeping bluegrass alive in Los Angeles is incredible. I believe it's every Tuesday night? Check their Instagram to confirm (which by the way they are very active on for their event nights and stuff) which is awesome. Anyways, I love this place so much. 10 out of 10 for me.

The back patio is spacious with an outside bar & picnic style seating. I haven't been here in years. In fact, it was before the remodel. A recent trip to the Atwater Farmer's Market inspired me to come back. It was a Thursday evening and JJ was behind the bar. She was absolutely delightful! We had a great conversation while I sipped on the Happy Hour Spicy Margarita. During my visit, several locals stopped in for a drink and to say "Hi" to JJ. Plenty of street parking around the area. On the inside, they have A/C running, pool tables and plenty of seating as well, they have two small TV's that I could see. It was not packed or crowded at the time that I arrived. They also have an outdoor patio with more seating as well as another pool table. A very chill atmosphere and plenty of beer on tap to try. Featuring wheat beers, sours, India Pale Ales, stouts and all styles in between. They even have a jukebox inside to play the jams. Interior is giving "mechanic shop" vibes and even offer "canned beer to go" Service is great and friendly as well. To cool down, I decided to try one of the beers on tap: IPA-American "Diamonds and Gasoline" 6.4% made by Cellarmaker Brewing Company Oakland, CA. I decided to get a 10ouz pour. Very smooth and not overwhelmingly strong. Refreshing and tasted perfect during a hot Sunday afternoon. Plenty of activities to do here while you enjoy your beer or any other cocktail of your choice. I wish I lived closer since this is a chill spot to come out and hang. Gald I came by and checked them out. I recommend you visit them if you are nearby this location.
