    Cinnamon & Honey latte

Sometimes it's hard to find a good coffee shop in the downtown area of any city.. usually you'll just have your big chains so I was happy to find Drip Drop Coffee. The staff were very welcoming and knowledgeable. It was a cold and rainy day in Portland so I was looking for a nice hot & tasty latte. I asked the guy at the counter which one was his favorite and trusted his judgement. I ordered the honey cinnamon latte and it was perfect! Lots of varied seating inside from tables with chairs to big overstuffed comfy chairs.

What an awesome place !!!! Love the retro vibes !!!! I ordered a drip coffee - they had a fun selection of colorful mugs and I chose pink !!! Great friendly staff !!! We will definitely be back on our next trip to Portland.

Just an all-around great experience at this darling coffeehouse. The service was among the best I've ever had, very personable and professional. I love that I can get a coffee as small as 8 ounces here because sometimes that's all I want. Lovely decor and a very comfortable place. Perfect location to sit inside and watch the rain coming down .

We walked into a warm welcome with great music and relaxed vibe. The baristas were welcoming, funny, and helpful. I'm not a picky eater, but I typically find about half of a menu compelling and the other half bench-warming in my mind. At Drip Drop, all of the food items were asking for my attention. For my first visit, I decided on The Dude as did my lobster. I silently reassured the other menu items I'd return and try them too (I see you, Cuban Pete). I haven't stopped thinking about The Dude waffle sandwich since. My cardamom latte was delicious and beautiful! In some places they don't take the time for latte art in a to-go cup, but they did at Drip Drop. Is it important? Not really. Is it one of those special touches that elevates the experience? Yes, and it was appreciated! The music was one of my favorite refreshing aspects. I loved hearing classic R&B faves with a random old skool country song thrown in-- a delightful soundscape like no other coffeehouse. Finally, as a people nerd and observer of all things big and small, I loved the ease and humor between the baristas. It feels like a welcoming and supportive place to work and that kind of employee experience usually translates into exceptional products and service. Bingpot! I can't wait to return!

I've been seeing this place for the last three days on the bus on the way to the convention center. I had a little time before my flight this morning so decided to try it out. From the moment I walked in I felt welcome and the atmosphere was just my vibe. Relaxed a little retro and with some great yacht rock type music playing (bonus!). "The Dude" is a must if you like sweet and savory. I probably could've eaten two it was so good! And don't even get me started on the oat milk mocha - seriously one of the best I've had ever. Then when one of the team came over and said "Hey Lisa - how'd you like the dude?" It sealed the deal on what a great place this is! Highly recommend!

This was such a nice spot to drop in for coffee (pun intended!) I went with my mom while she was in town, and we were delighted to be able to enjoy a nice view of the park in such and cute spot. The coffee was great-- I got a seasonal pumpkin latte with almond milk which was very sweet (I love sweet coffee, but I know it isn't for all). My mom got a drip coffee which she said tasted good and high quality. The place itself is super cute-- great seating areas, excellent lighting, and tons of local art of the walls (available for purchase if something strikes your attention). Bathrooms were very clean. The staff were so warm and friendly, this felt like such a wonderful, cozy spot. Add to that the fact that the prices are reasonable and the seasonal menu is cool and creative-- this gets a recommend from me!

I recently found out about Drip Drop so I had to pay a visit. I found it to be a cute space with delicious coffee and friendly employees! It is a decent sized space with fun decor and a few sitting areas. They have a variety of pastries and snacks to choose from, plus waffle breakfast sandwiches. There is also a nice variety of coffee/not coffee drinks. I went with the zucchini muffin and the Cloud 9 to 5 latte, a coconut/vanilla combination that was so good with the cold foam and caramel drizzle. I thought all of the food looked good and it was hard to choose what to eat. That waffle sandwich is calling my name! It is so important to support local businesses and I will definitely be a repeat customer!

The baristas were so nice! I got a London fog and it hit the spot. My friends liked their drinks too. There was a lot of space to hang out and enjoy company.

Great coffee! After a long travel day we decided to stop and grab some Java. Cute little coffee shop! We had the place to ourselves and just enjoyed the coffee. It tasted as good as it looked. Great services and great vibes!

Amazing coffee! We had the hot and iced vanilla lattes. Delicious! Then we split, "The Dude" and then ordered 2 to go because they were so good! Going to enjoy part two on our hike. They were extremely kind!

7/23/2025-First Visit, Drip Drop Coffee (NOT Drip Coffee Bar!): Still open and worth a visit! This is Drip Drop Coffee and YES, they are still open for business! Don't confuse it with Drip Coffee Bar on 1st SW Ave, which is temporarily closed. Be sure to enter the name correctly in your GPS or Google search so you don't end up at the wrong spot. What made my visit great: The crew here is amazing. Big shoutout to Makiah and Marcus for being incredibly welcoming and fun. Their good energy made my afternoon. Tip them well! Custom Drink Order (lesson learned): I got a 16oz Iced Latte with: -Oat milk ($1) -Extra 2 espresso shot ($2) -Hazelnut syrup ($1) Total: $9.75. If you're customizing your drink like I did, just know it adds up. It's more cost-effective to order directly off the drink menu. Food: The Dude Waffle - $12: I asked for it extra crunchy and it delivered. The sugar baked into the waffle gave it a nice touch. Standard sausage and scrambled eggs on the side. I personally prefer eggs with yolk, but Marcus explained they don't have an exhaust system, so scrambled works best for their setup and helps keep service fast. Atmosphere: -Great natural lighting throughout the shop. -Chill vibe with flexible seating options, ideal to stay and hang for a bit. -Located at street level corner of the newly colorful painted parking structure next to and on top of the café. -Street metered parking is also available. Tips: -Visit on Sundays before 1 PM for free street parking if you're not in the area. -Take your drink to-go and enjoy it across the street at Terry Schrunk Park on a nice day. -I plan to come back, order straight from the menu next time, and give their gelato a shot. -Fingers crossed one day they add brown sugar syrup, my favorite with quad expresso and oat milk! Restroom: -One-stall, gender-neutral restroom. -No toilet seat cover. -You need to ask for the key.

The space feels cozy, welcoming, and full of personality. I especially loved the little post-it wall where customers can leave behind anything they want a small detail that makes the café feel even more personal and community-driven. What I ordered: Soft Cream Matcha One of the creamiest matchas I've ever had! The soft cream was incredibly fluffy and smooth, while the matcha itself was bold enough to come through with every sip and also had a coconuty essence to it. It had just the right amount of sweetness without overpowering the matcha. If you love a rich, creamy matcha, this is definitely one to try. Es-Yen A classic Thai-style iced coffee made with condensed milk. This was strong, sweet, and definitely had that much-needed wake-me-up effect! The condensed milk gave it a creamy sweetness while still allowing the bold coffee flavor to shine through. It was the perfect balance of sweet and strong exactly what I needed. Buttered & Sweetened Condensed Milk Toast I originally had my eye on the pandan toast, but it's clearly a popular choice because it was already sold out earlier in the day! So I went with the buttered and sweetened condensed milk toast instead, and I'm so glad I did. The toast was crispy on the outside, buttery, warm, and finished with that sweet condensed milk flavor. Every bite practically melted in my mouth. The pandan toast is definitely on my list for next time! My Portland experience was made even better by my stop at Kaleido Coffee. The owners were so sweet and welcoming, taking the time to give me recommendations and making sure everyone was taken care of even during a busy rush. Until next time, Portland!

When I don't know what to do with my day, or I have work to catch up on, I go to Tov and go from there. Drink-wise, I often go for a Mucho Caliente, the "Mushit," a mushroom-based chai invention, or a Rose Mocha. I've had mochas all over and none compares to the way Joe and his staff concoct the drinks at Tov. The chocolatey-ness, viscosity, mouthfeel, flavor, sippability, sweetness, always satisfy my palate, and the balance of coffee to other flavors is always to my preference. Their drinks are decadent and may take a bit longer to make than expected, and I find it is well worth the wait. I enjoy getting comfortable on Joe's very colorful red cushions, taking in the purple Egyptian vibes within and the eccentric vibrancy that is Hawthorne outside. Fun fact: Joe doesn't believe in plain old ice, and instead he freezes cubes of milk! The cubes stratify into discrete layers that are fun to crunch through, reminiscent of the layers of baklava. Very enjoyable for someone who normally avoids ice or chewing on ice.

We stopped in here after playing a round at the Wonderwood Mini Golf. It had been hot and cramped and we really needed a drink. The door was being held open by a line of people and usually that is a great sign. Being busy is awesome for the business and I am glad they are so popular. It was a weekday, probably around 11 am and there were just so many people in line. It was really cute inside but SO chaotic. There were tons of kids screaming and at times it was difficult to tell where the line really was. After about 5 minutes of the line not moving, I started to get a slight headache from the noise and we agreed we would have to go somewhere else. It was probably for the best as all the indoor and outdoor seating was full so there would have been nowhere for us to eat even if we had braved the line. I think when a business reaches this level of popularity, it's important to put systems in place to keep patrons from feeling crowded and overwhelmed and it's definitely something they might want to look into in the future.
