They told me to have it professionally cleaned, so I paid for a full interior detail. After I brought it back, they inspected the vehicle, told me everything was fine, and said I would only be charged a late fee because I was about three hours late--not an additional full day's rental. The next day, they completely changed their story. They charged me for an extra full day of rental anyway and claimed the car still smelled like smoke. That directly contradicted what they told me after inspecting it. It feels like they were just looking for a reason to charge me more. I paid for a professional detail to address their concern, relied on what they told me, and then they went back on their word. Very disappointing experience, and I would not rent from this location again.

We decided to stop by at this Avis rent a car and see what were our options like?? As we walked in, 2 employees approached us and wanted to know how they can be some sort of an asset and help to us. I believe one's name was Tony and can't remember the other guy's name. They were both polite & trying their best to help us. We were there on the 2nd of April around 4pm. They showed us a few cars that didn't meet our expectations since 2 of them were Mazda CX50 intermediate SUV, and for 3 days $193.64 not counting the hidden fees such as tax, insurance and the rest. The other car that they showed us was a Hyundai Venue $160.00. Both cars were EXPENSIVE for our budget. The place from outside was not clean, was dusty and needed a good sweep & a wash with a hose. Inside on the other hand was pretty much clean. It's a very small lot that can fit up to 10 cars. Not a lot of cars to choose from except SUV's! So we took the chance/risk and stayed with my son's car and drove all the way to Santa Barbara and back.

I did provide a five star review previously, until I got a follow-up email from Sixt a couple days after I returned the car. They claimed that they found a scratch on the roof of my Rav4 rental. This is total BS and now they are trying to charge me almost $500 for a "scratch repair". I literally drove the car from studio City to Las Vegas and parked the car for my entire stay. I parked it at a secure covered garage the entire time. I drove the car back home and returned the vehicle back to Sixt. There is no way a scratch could appear on the roof considering we did not load any type of luggage onto the roof. This place is a total scam and was too good to be true. Who knows how many other people they have scammed. I was going to do another rental in 2 weeks and now they will no longer receive any further business from me or anyone I know, because I will be telling everybody about the shady company.
