This place is a good time. However, the food and service was not great. The burger was practically raw and fries tasted strange. Cocktails were good but pricey at ~$9 each. Servers were not readily available. In fact, we were at out stations or over 30 minutes before being attended to -- we had to walk over and get someone. I think this (the waiting) may be deliberate to encourage the purchase of additional golf time. After putting orders in the food took another 30-45 minutes. read more

Service is slipping. Amazing how companies spend so much building a facility like this and then marketing it only to have the help do them in with an attitude of indifference. Also, they're changing the menu and my favorite- the bucket of balls - used to be spectacular. It's now dried out (they forgot the bread that usually accompanies it & ignored us when we told them). Had a great time at Drive Shack. We were assigned an area within a few minutes of arriving. Our host met us there and explained everything we needed. The food and drink service was prompt and a great selection. We had a great time. We spent about 1.5 hours for 4 people and were able to play a round of Shack Jack and then time just driving. Needs a lot of work on the technology side before I will go back. If you have any idea how to play golf and attempt to actually use skill then forget it. The sensors in the balls are WAY OFF. I hit the actual "pin" about 4 times and the computer said I was 15 feet outside the circle and gave zero points. Meanwhile, someone in our group was just hacking ground balls around and the computer was giving them 20 points at a time as the ball sailed passed the targets. At one point, I put it in the circle for the target it wanted me to hit. And the computer replay showed that I went toward a completely different target and missed to the right. Everyone in the group was like... that's not even remotely close to where you hit that. Very frustrating that you get nothing for actually hitting a golf ball correctly. I will be going to Top Golf where the computer actually gives points based on where the ball lands. I mentioned this to the guy who kept coming around and asking how things were going and he didn't acknowledge what I was saying and just walked off. Great place if you just want to go knock golf balls around and have no reason to keep legitimate score. On another note, the only reason I'm not giving just one star is that the food was good. With that being said they're not advertising their business as a restaurant. They are a golf driving range with food and drinks so I think the technology that tracks the balls needs to be the focus here. read more

Do not go here. Food was terrible and my fries were cold. After I ordered boneless wings off there menu, they gave me bone in wings when I told them that I wanted boneless wings. Also, the ball dispenser did not work properly and an employee were come back and fix it and it would start having issues again and had to grab balls from the top of the dispenser box which was awkward. The service was also terrible. Even though the games are fun I would recommend not coming here I would rather go to Topgolf instead. read more

We're used to Top Golf, so Drive Shack was a little bit different. Not quite as tricked out, but still fun. They're similar in price, some hours are cheaper than others. The service was great...our waiter did a nice job of checking in and making sure we had everything we needed. Although we visited on a Sunday, we didn't have to wait for a bay. This place can be lots of fun. We've had great experiences here in the past. The golf type games are great. The wide open view of the driving range and pine trees are nice. The quality of the food is above average for the type of venue that this is. Our server yesterday was pleasant but her attention to our group was very ordinary. She did not stop by nearly often enough and even when we asked for her to come by she didn't. She forgot to deliver one of our appetizers and we had to ask for it to be removed from our bill. The lack of attention to our group on this trip caused us to be far less satisfied than during past trips. read more

I was so excited to go just because this is anyone will talk about. Sad to say I wasn't that impress. My fam was part of a group of 18 and at this point you would think this place knows how to cater for a large party. Took a while as expected I guess for a Saturday night especially for the holidays. When we got our bays our name wasn't on the screen then all of a sudden it was the other group that was there got upset but that was our bay. To get our food order took about 15 mins in. We had a glitch in the game and to find someone was like a needle in a haystack. The person restarted the game, at that point our orders were taken and that took about 20 mins to get it had the game not restarted we would've been eating at a bay with no play time. We ordered these nachos that had about 15 mini pieces of steak. I couldn't believe it ...and some chips tasted stale. I get a better deal at the Ale house or a bowling alley. Then it took another 20 mins after we finish the game to get our checks and that was a mess with others in our group. In overall I would love to give them another chance but we are going topgolf and give them my business at this point. Guys get more staff people on weekends! btw to play you need a membership and at this point I am not sure why I even got it. read more

This is sad. I'd give it zero stars if I could. Awful service. Awful organization/time management. Gross food. (And I don't ever write reviews - I revived a old yelp account just so I could write this.) At 5:30, we called the main desk on our way over to check if they were busy and they said there wouldn't be too long of a wait though they couldn't give an exact time estimate (a statement echoed by the front desk when we were forced to buy our membership cards and by a manager when we checked). We're from NYC and just wanted a fun night and had heard such good things. Failure. And I'm angry about it. We got assigned a bay after a 20 minute wait but it was then immediately taken away (it was supposed to be for a private party) and we were told we were first on the wait list. Fine. (We did not care which floor.) We'll wait. In the interim, we hung out at the bar. The nachos were disgusting and completely cold, and without the advertised guacamole. The bartenders lost the credit card of guy next to us (took 20 min and a manager to find it), messed up the order of the table behind us (also cold nachos which they forgot the chicken), had to ask a woman to repeat her drink order three times because they got it wrong, and completely ignored me and my husband - sitting with EMPTY drinks right in front of them. (So in other words, the awful service that we got was not unique!) We talked to the manager after waiting an hour and fifteen and we were given apologies but no explanation - my name was still there, not lost (he showed me the list). A 2nd manager offered to comp the bay which would have been nice of him - except 25 minutes after that we still hadn't been given a spot! So....a total of 1 hr and 40 minutes after we arrived - (not an exaggeration - they text you a "welcome" when you first come) we gave up and left. Honestly - for the bartenders, it is not hard to smile and say "you guys alright? want a drink?" (when that is literally your job description) - and for the management, while I understand that you're busy - have a modicum of respect for the time of other people and be honest when there's a long wait. (The manager thought it was a positive that the woman at the front hadn't given us a time estimate and set any expectations. While it's true, there was no lying, that is not a positive policy to have, that's RUDE to other people's time! Just tell me it's a long wait - I won't be mad. Or shit - just hire a bartender who knows that he's in the service industry so I can drink/eat while I wait instead of be ignored.) Instead of a fun afternoon in Orlando - we sat at a bar waiting for a bay that never came and for someone to acknowledge us and our waving hands so we could order another beer. (Also - to add legitimate insult to injury, there were a ton of empty bays on the 1st floor as we left. Wtf!!!!!!) If they ever tell you that the wait isn't long - do not believe them. If we actually got to play, maybe I'd like it - but honestly, the leading up was SO BAD that it's not worth the gamble of possibly having fun. Never ever returning and hope that I might save some of you a bad evening as well. Just go to Top Golf. This was THE WORST. Update: I got a text at 9:36pm that we were assigned a bay. So...they were not organized enough to take our name off the list when we said we were leaving (thus holding up the wait for others!) and if we hadn't ever left - it would have been 3hr and 55 min from when we arrived at 5:41 until we got a spot. Our Lyft driver also told us he had an awful experience at drive shack but they offered him a bunch of free stuff to come back a second time. (So... dear Drive Shack management, if you just train your bartenders to smile, you would make more money and you wouldn't have to give away free stuff every time you mess up....which is clearly a pattern. I wonder how many of the positive reviews on this yelp listing got free stuff?) To everyone reading, do not bother to go here. read more

We booked two bays weeks in advance for the New Years event. We specified that three lefty golfers would be in our bays. When we arrived (30 minutes prior to our reservation), all left handed golfer friendly bays had been given away. I can not recommend this place to anyone. Top golf is a good alternative! read more

Had a subpar experience here on Saturday night. We were there to celebrate my husband's birthday with friends. When we arrived, we were quoted a 45 minute wait time for the 3rd floor, so we decided to wait at the bar on the 3rd floor. I approached the bar to order drinks and stood there while the bartenders carried on in conversation amongst themselves (after seeing me standing there), finally greeting me after several minutes had passed. It was long enough of a wait I actually contemplated walking away and not ordering anything. After we arrived at our bay, I noticed one of the TVs in our bay was not working but this was not a huge deal to us. We were greeted by the server and ordered drinks. It took over 20 minutes for the drinks to arrive to the table and we noticed after the server left the table that we didn't even have the beer we ordered in the bucket. After more waiting for the server to come by and then more waiting for the bartender to provide the right beers, we finally received what we ordered. We later ordered appetizers for the table and when they arrived, no silverware or plates were given. Again, more waiting to receive those. Food was not hot and did not seem fresh. Also, when golfing, shots were rarely recognized on the tracer. After going to Top Golf several times, we decided we won't be visiting Drive Shack again. read more

Great experience! Came here for Father's Day and we all had a great time. Golf was fun, no one there seemed too serious about it, so it was perfect for non-experienced golfers. Also, as a person who eats vegan, there were surprisingly a couple of good vegan options on the menu. I got the Mediterranean dips and veggies, and as long as you sub the tzatziki for extra hummus, you are good to go! Our waitress was really helpful about which items on the menu were vegan- which is always a pleasant surprise! read more

They have video game consoles that let you play the old fashioned namco games (pacman, galaga, dig dug, ms pacman, etc..), as well as basketball, skeeball, shuffleboard tables and a golden tee golf game. Best part is there are no quarters needed! You can play as much as you like without emptying your wallet. Okay, so when I first arrived they made me throw away my bottle of water, and told me I had to buy a 5.95 membership per person. So that is a waste right there. Had to buy a membership by name for my son who is only visiting and I had never been there.,.so I don't know if I want a "membership". you can't but a general "guest" membership it's in name only, so my son who's visiting membership waste. But we went in anyway. Computer broke and we were given initially 7 additional play time minutes. Okay, that was pretty much the time we sat and waited for the computer to be fixed but, whatever. Then someone did come by and give 30 additional minutes. Which was nice...At the end of the day it's very expensive and while I have a "membership" doubt I will Return. $160 tip Included for two Hours, two so so tasting appetizers and 4 beers. I was excited that there was a golf place closer to my campus but my experience here was very disappointing. My friends originally weren't given the option to wait for me and were told to start their game even though I was only a few minutes out, which I would understand if there was a long wait but there was even empty bays all around there so really we weren't going to be taking anyone's spot. Me and my girlfriend were also starving when we got there, we ordered the sliders which beware:they come with pickles! This should definitely be advertised because if you're anything like me you HATE pickles I can't stand when my foods even in the vicinity of this and it's very strange because theres no onion. Lettuce, or tomato... only pickles... then my friend had a coupon the manager had given him at a previous visit and we had another manager come and question the validity of the coupon and how we acquired it, even though my friend had spoken to the manager to make a reservation (there is such lack of communication between all their staff its crazy). Also when I checked in and was supposed to be getting my membership card they said they were going to be sending it up to my bay... I am still waiting for that card which shows more disorganization and lack of communication. Overall very disappointing read more

We have waited for 1 hour and twenty minutes and no food! This place sucks. There are golf bays with no one there but the check in desk says they are reserved for a party- no one has been there for 1.5 hours. No manager is around at all. There are about 100 people waiting in the grill and 90 % do not have food! Nice Father's Day! read more
