Want to beat the touristy area? This is the place for you. It's currently in the middle of a cow pasture!! Plenty of parking,too. The place was not very crowded,but it was a weeknight. We were told it could be an hour wait and I was aware that if the people in the golf bay before us wanted to extend their time, it's an option. No worries,off to the bar/ grill we went!!! We were immediately greeted by Yogi! He was very nice, attentive and genuinely seemed happy to be there!! I loved that!! We ordered cocktails and a plate of nachos oh, they came out relatively quick and then we ordered tacos a BYOB burger and a black and blue cheese burger! Everything was great! I was really surprised by how good the food was because it was very reasonably priced as well. I thought we would get a little bit less but we did not I was pleasantly surprised. Now for the reason for only four stars. there seems to be a lot of staff and a lot of empty bays when we finally got outside, so I'm wondering why we had to wait over an hour when they were plenty of bays, and once we got into our Bay we had some technical difficulties that ate up our time and we were not offered to have that replenished. We had an idea of the concept but the variations in games were not explain to us very clearly and before we knew it our game has started. We still had a great time even though our scores were not being kept properly but we weren't there for scores we were there for the fun and we had it! We will be back. read more

Wednesday night - empty bays everywhere. Took 20 minutes to get a bay which never texted that it was ready, had to walk down to check on it. Server was nowhere to be found to the point that we had to go find her more than once. The PIN wasn't working so we had to get a few people to help us initiate the game. The food was terrible -- except the meatballs. If my client wasn't across the street I would have refused. Top golf is on a whole different level. Won't go back unless I have to. read more

Went here for date night. Pretty easy and fast if you register for membership online ahead of time ($5 pp). Servers were prompt and nice. We ordered the nachos and pretzel sticks. Neither were very good. The nachos were not warm and the Bavarian pretzels came with honey mustard and something they called cheese. About 15 minutes in, my husband nails me with a nine iron on his back swing. Server said she would see what she could do and next thing I know two guys with clipboards show up. I thought maybe they would discount the price since we clearly couldn't play anymore, but they didn't. They just wanted to come hound us. Not a great experience overall. We love this place! First went about 3 months ago, and go probably every 2 weeks or so. Since it's new, we have run into some technical errors a few times, but who cares, you're golfing and drinking lol. When we want to feel great about our game we like playing on the upper decks, but for a reality check the ground floor is the way to go. Drive Shack provides you with both men's and women's clubs, or you can be like us and bring your own. Check in is at the front desk, you need a member card ($5 first time fee). You swipe it to get a bay and wait for your text with sign in code. The caddy's arrive and give you a quick walk through of how the games work and rules. Then they take any food and drink orders you have (I have only ever had the rose, and my boyfriend always has corona. We did try the edamame once, which was delicious but a terrible choice for active golfing because your hands get messy, whoops!) then leave you to playing. Most often we play shack jack (version of black jack/21) because it's the only game evenly matched for men and women playing together. We tried the virtual courses, but again still being beginner golfers it was frustrating to us to have the point driven home how inconsistent we are in our playing. The program with the pro that measures your stats with different clubs is also great. Now for when to go... for us, because we want to play, Monday-Thursday is perfect, service is fast and it's not jam packed. The weekend is a completely different story. It's crazy on Friday and Saturday nights. Service staff is not as attentive, drinks take longer etc. but the music is loud, and the atmosphere is fun. Pro tip: once you have signed up and have your member card you can avoid having to wait in line for a bay on those super busy weekend nights. Just walk directly to the left and there are computer monitors, you scan your card and friends cards to get a bay, takes 2 seconds literally and will save you 20 minutes at least when the line is long. read more

Im only putting this as a five star so this can be seen but I want to give this a 1 star for the horrible experience. I was there last night and oh boy it was a nightmare. I've gone previously in the past but its just not the same as last time. My dad wanted to suprise me but little did we know we were in for the suprise. When we had arrived it was an hour and a half wait time. While we were waiting we went to the second floor to have something to eat. We had both ordered a burger with NO PICKLES, but originally our server was this young lady at the bar chit chatting with her bestie. Yeah I get your best friends and everything but pay attention to the customers. So then someone else got our order. But what was so hilarious is that this guy was trying to remember everything from the top of his head. If youre going to do that then it should be because you're good at memorizing.. So he had brought my dad pickles when we had specifically asked for no pickles at all. I mean we work in this industry so we understand slow business and understaff but doesn't mean they have to ignore customers. So then when I had gotten the notification to come down my dad and I headed down. They said they were gonna clean our bay/table in 5 minutes but it took 30 minutes. When it was ready it said bay 226. I was like WHAT, we had requested the THIRD floor. That was the whole reason we waited the hour and a half. I mean if we were such in a rush of course we would've gotten the second floor but that wasn't what we wanted. So another 10 minutes go by and then they finally found something available for us. This just wasn't our day, then when we headed up stairs we had to wait for someone to set up the screen. We ordered some drinks and pizza. While playing, the ball machine just stopped working out of no where. Like c'mon! We thankfully had gotten help. We just wanted to have a fun daughter and father date night instead horrible night experience . :( read more

This is the WORST experience of customer service, slow system, and a manager who is condescending to the customers! I took my family with friends to this place. We've never been here but should've left after the multiple questions we were asked. We didn't actually start playing until 30 mins into our time because the machine broke, then we finally start to play & had to stop again because based on the questions I never fully answered they had me swinging wrong. Now we're into 20 more mins & some manager comes over very condescending to me & proceeds to tell me what statistics say about me! Then this very unprofessional manager the takes another 10 mins trying to educate me like I was a child. I won't even go into the staff otherwise this would be a book. Just went to Drive Shack last night for the first time. I have not been to Topgolf yet but I had a great experience at Drive Shack. I am not a golfer so for someone that does not normally play it was a lot of fun. The service was great! The food was awesome! I found out caddy to be very helpful in assisting us with the games. My husband had a great time and loved the ball flight technology. It is definitely worth checking out. We live close by and will definitely be back! read more

My family and I decided to check out their brunch portion of the menu and celebrate my dads birthday with food and golf. We started by eating the restaurant which was a bit rocky. Service was good to start off but I ended up waiting a long time for my meal, just my meal. Our kids food came out and everyone else at the table but when we went to check on mine the server said that they were just finishing up and it would be right out. No problem right? So then we checked again 15 minutes later and were told that it was coming right out. Then a manager came over and asked how things were going to which we mentioned that I was still waiting for my food. I ordered a TBLT which in the end was okay but it just didn't seem like anyone knew what was going on with the wait or why it was taking so long. It might have been forgotten to be rung in by the server which would have been fine to me. I'm in the business so I get how it goes. But it wasn't busy so it just didn't seem right. Service is all about recovery though and they did take care of my meal and apologize for it. The golfing is great though! And the server is always looking out and anticipating your needs so you can focus on the game and having fun with family and friends. Amazing experience!!!!! I was here today for my first time, Dan was our bay host and he was SUPER attentive and super friendly! He was fast with our drinks! Awesome personality!!! So after our games we went to the second level bar and Chris was our bartender who was absolutely phenomenal!! I had asked him for a specialty drink that was not on the menu and he was able to re-create it to a T!!!! I have never had such polite and friendly service in Orlando!! Through a friend, I was able to attend a private opening party at Drive Shack. Such an amazing facility with fun golf games and other arcade/indoor games as well. Our waitress was beyond great (Mimi) and really took care of our whole crowd. We couldn't leave without a picture! Food was great and all the employees were welcoming. Had a great experience at Drive Shack. The technology is a Wow! Food and service were an additional Wow! I think that they are working through the opening pains well and will be a great destination for friends, family and business events. I had the Caprese sandwich with a salad topped with the blood orange vinaigrette...so good. I played for an hour and played Monster Hunt, ShackJack and one of the pro courses. We've lived in Lake Nona for over a year, but took our first trip to drive shack today. It was wonderful. So much fun. We had our 20 yr old daughter and 10 yr old son with us. We played for 90 minutes and then hit the third floor for free video games and shuffle pool. Everyone had a great time. Price was very reasonable. Club selection was nice. The golf experience was fun, although a bit expensive $40 an hour +5 dollar membership fee for each person. We had friends visiting from out of town so we thought it be a fun thing to do. Found out this place is a competitor to Top Golf and my boyfriend and I were trying to find the difference between it. First off, the couches are really comfortable. I just wanted to sit and not play lol. When playing, you get to choose so many games from monsters to a regular field, etc. Unfortunately the main problem for me was the air conditioner. Unlike top golf that was about 98 degrees out and not a sweat cane out, here, the fan was on high but was still hot. We were both sweaty and it felt gross. Whenever the doors would open, we felt the a/c but still, just a recommendation to have air when it's hot out which won't be for very long. Also, the truck that sweeps up the golf balls has a target on the back and he parks there for whomever to hit it. That part made us laugh to see others do it. The nachos were pretty good, cheese was on point and the level of spice was perfect. We'd come back again. read more

We checked in and it was about a two hour wait, which was fine. This is my third time here, but by far worst service ever. It took 1 hour and 30 minutes to get our food, after waiting to be served for over 20m. Once food came, one order wasn't right and had to be sent back. Another 20m before it came back. Then the golf screen froze in bay 208- server told us no it wasn't- but nothing registered on screen for the last thirty minutes. He said he'd send someone to look at it but they never came. Don't know if I'll be giving it another chance. Expensive and I didn't even get to enjoy it. Bummer because my kids had fun golfing for most part. ‍ read more

The food was subpar and everything came out cold with the exception of my beer (canned) warm bud light. We sent the food back and go semi warm nachos and heated meatballs. The meatballs were not great and you can tell they were NOT fresh and frozen. The nachos had a white Parmesan cheese? Or maybe Feta? Either way it made the cheese taste sharp. My sons pasta with marinara was not hot either but we were ok with that since it was for him (he is 2). I will not be coming back... I expected more out of this place and was highly disappointed. Drive shack's food is promising even though sometimes I felt that some dishes tasted incomplete. Even so, they still have very solid basic dishes like fries and a burger. The fries are perfectly seasoned and the burger is cooked to your preference. Their drinks can't be slept on either ; -) ! The way their games are set up and the zones system that they have set up is something that I have never seen before and to be honest. I like it! It's a different, calmer take on the scored golfing games. While they have realistic games like the virtual tours which play like some real life courses. they also have exciting/competitive games that the whole family can get behind an really really enjoy! Our favorite was the monster one because the feeling of scoring the last hit on a pole/monster and seeing it dissipate in thin air pushed feeling of accomplishment and focus. read more

Great service! Went for Bachelor and Bubbles. Great event and loved the bingo! Love it when a place really puts together things for an event (rose buds and glasses). The drink and desert specials were great! Had the bucket of ball (meatballs). They tasted delicious, light and home made. Loved the Frosè. The service staff was very nice and attentive. They made the event great as they joined in on the fun. They even gave us a round of golf (if i didn't have to go to work in the morning, I would've stayed for it). Last Friday we went to play golf and eat at Drive Shack. After 1.5 hours of golfing we went to the restaurant to eat. We waited 40 mins before our appetizers came out together with 4 plates of main course...... we waited another 10 mins for another 4 plates to come out. We complained to the server cause we were missing the last salad which we had to wait another 15 mins on together with the last sides. This was absolutely horrible service. We talked to one of the manager and he apologized but this was so bad service. We had expected better service and we like the place and comes to play golf pretty offer as we live 5 min from the place read more

Always have an amazing time here! Been coming with friends for a while and we're never disappointed, we've had both Noah and Kevin a few times and they are so attentive. We placed an order of burgers. It took them over 1/2 hour to bring them to our table. When we got them, they were cold. Not room temperature... cold! We retured the food and told them not too bring us another meal.. same thing happened to the other couples we were with... completely substandard service. I'll never go there again read more
