These guys are the honest car repair place you're looking for! We took our Dodge Ram pickup truck in about a year ago to have the brakes checked. The local Dodge dealer said they were shot and quoted a crazy price to have the repair done. The Driver's Edge team quickly checked it out and told us that the brakes were fine. We've been customers ever since. Earlier this week I took the same truck in for some wheel noise which I suspected was the bearings going out. They found the problem, yup it was the wheel bearings in the front. They also recommended some other maintenance while they had everything torn apart since we could save on some labor. When they had everything put back together, they test drove it and found that the rear bearings were bad as well. Since they had already quoted me a solid price for all of the repair, they put the new rear bearings in at no additional charge! Most shops would have called and gouged me for more money. These guys did the right thing and honored their quote. You just don't see that very often. One thing is for certain, we'll be back! I like doing business with folks we can trust. read more

Juan and his team are consistently there for our family. They are straight forward and very fair. Recently we had a very annoying (understatement) buzzing coming from what seemed like under the dashboard. The team dove into the tricky issue and was able to sort out that the source could be fixed from under the hood (we did not have to pull out the dashboard!). First and foremost, we believe the people that run this place are honest. I recently took my car in for an oil change. I was concerned that my ball joints might need to be replaced and asked them to check to check them....this would have been an expensive repair and some shop owners would have said yes, even if they really didn't need to be replaced. Much to my relief, I was told they are fine. as far as mechanic shops go its one of the better ones ive ever been to. Never seemed like they were trying to "up sale" me something i didnt need. Juan and staff was very helpful and informative of my issues. only complaint is they dont take checks but i was not told that until checkout time. Employees said they did have signs up but were told to take them down. Bad move Drivers Edge cooperate. Put up a sign. Ended up working it out but slightly irritating in an otherwise very good business. I would certainly take any of my cars there in the future. read more

We live near this location in Prosper and they have the best customer service. Most recently I've needed two tires replaced within a span of two weeks and they have assisted me by putting my spare on both times without cost. Over the phone, they are exceptionally courteous, friendly and willing to work the problem.
