Let's see!!! I won't be going back to DriveTime: The staff was very nice but their cars are all a bunch of lemons! My car was actually fine made it thru the 30 days of course then on day 35 my battery and alternator go out so I call aeverex (their lil warranty company) they were nice just told me to take the car to one of their shops and I would have to pay $100 deductible to get the repairs I'm like ok Lol oh but of course that's not it I get to the repair shop and their like oh u have to pay for the battery because that's just maintenance (how the hell is a battery maintenance on a car you just bought that should of been good quality) so I walk out of there spending 240.00 for some crap that should of never broke. Well, as now reading all the reviews I'm glad the situation happened to pan out the way it did. Transmission went out on my current vehicle the day before we were due to leave on a road trip/vacation. My god sister had purchased a car at drive time recently so I figured I would give them a try seeing their commercials played repeatedly. Went on the website and received my instant downpayment as promised. Had my husband do the same seeing that we would preferably be putting the car in both our names. He too was approved with an even lower downpayment than mines so here we are thinking it's our lucky day. We can avoid renting by purchasing the second vehicle we had been talking about purchasing and with a low downpayment. Seemed like a deal. Now this isn't our first rodeo as far as purchasing a car but in the past our dealers have been willing to at least get the process going with only one of us present. Obviously entering into a contract was something that needed to have both signatures naturally. So to drive off with the vehicle obviously we both needed to be present but we didn't have that kind of time. I could maybe spare a few hours from work but I didn't have time to spend hours in the dealership so I called and spoke with a young lady claiming to be the sales manager. I explained the dilemma and asked if it were possible he come out and get the ball rolling. She claimed that was fine, stated he couldn't leave without me coming to sign but that he could come and take care of the process up until that point. She reassured me and said have him come on in. So he caught an Uber spending $50 to get to laurel because we live no where near there only to be told nothing could be done without me present. Total waste of time. He was there less than a half hour and spent another $50 to get home. Now it's 4 days later and I get a phone call asking how my dealer visit went and I told him about this utter disappointment. He apologized and told me he was sorry they couldn't meet my expectations. Now it's around 7pm. I get a phone call from the same sales manager that I had originally spoke with. She's now claiming the only reason he couldn't get a car is because we needed a higher downpayment. I exclaimed I had a higher downpayment if necessary but that's not what was communicated to my husband. She insist that's the only issue and that's what my husband was told and she knows because she was sitting right there. Now mind you I have my husband sitting next to me and she's on speaker so he immediately denies that and tells her " they said they couldn't do anything with out my wife " she then changes her story and says oh well that's not what Anthony put in the notes. Huh. Seriously, what kind of scam is being ran here. I've been scammed into a car before and this situation was oh too similar. How are dealers like these allowed to even operate. Save your money and time and go to a real dealer. There are tons of good dealers out there who will do you right but DriveTime is not it. read more

Spent hours looking for a tow truck who would tow it with Mechanical issues.. another hour finding an "in network" repair shop.. Tow is outta pocket with hopes they'll reimburse! Rental also outta pocket if we decide with only hopes of a reimbursement! Paid extra for a tow who can handle Mechanical brake failure.. Drained my account and Maxed our my Credit card all within a week! Go figure read more

The sales person ran his credit told him your approved we can get you in a car had him look at vehicles. He picked one out. The guy told him I'm going to get all the paper work together if you want go test drive it. So he did comes back the man try to tell him he needs to put another 1000 down. Guess he thought he was dealing with someone that didn't know what they was doing. They was there for 2 1/2 hrs dealing with this man. Needless to say at the end of the day he did my son a favor for trying to screw him out of his money because he ended up at another dealership and walked away with a 2019 fully loaded vehicle. I bought a car about 6 months ago and a small part of the bluetooth didnt work. It wasnt a big deal so I didn't look into it until months later. Once I did I was referenced to the warranty company who referred me to Drive Time who referred me to the warranty company who referred me to Drive Time again & again so all the bouncing back & forth got to be very irritating. I finally spoke with a manager named Kiana Fobbs who provided the WORST customer service I've ever experienced. Instead of being understanding and letting the customer vent she choose to overtalk me and tell me how she doesn't understand because she would have gotten this fixed as soon as she bought the car. Which is a judgemental statement. She went on to tell me that Drive Time only sells cars as if I didn't know that. I bought a car from there, pretty sure I know that. I was calling to GET INFORMATION on what to do but was told that they sold me a car with a problem & that's its on me at this point. Thanks for nothing Kiana. do not do note buy a car from these scamners, i attempted to trade my vehicle in and the car fax showed structural damage and Drive Time never disclosed this to me. I am currently seeking assisting from an lawyer to handle this issue. I purchased this car from the glen burie location. I called Drive Time and ask to speak with the manager and I was blowed off after he reviewed the report himself. I purchased the carfax report myself that shows structural damage and they purchased car from an auction. Drive time knowingly sold me a lemon and never disclosed this to me. Also, multiple car accidents were reported before they sold me the vehicle. Vehicle was purchased from an auction. Drive time purposely take advantage of consumers like us with credit issues. Selling prices are not negotiable on the vehicles they sell. I am a single parent with kids that the sales person knowingly took advantage of me. Thank god i have legal coverage to sue them. Run the vin # and read the carfax report before you purchase vehicle from them. I have been making month payiment in the amt of $450 for 15 months for a 2011 hyunadi sonata that is a piece of salvage. beware beware beware!!! do not purchase a car from them no matter how desperate you maybe. go somewhere else or run report first. read more

Don't go here, Anthony Walker sold me a 2014 Nissan Altima. We started out with my A/c needing to be charged. Then about 8 days later my car cut off while I was driving, I call Silverrock long story made short I went to 4 different shops and they didn't find anything. Silverrock says it's nothing wrong with the car. I walk outside that same day to my transmission gone my car won't go. Then they told me I had to pay for a tow. Wrong Drive time will pay. They paid after trying to make me pay $100 deductible, I refused I also made them pay for my rental. But they replace my transmission and I get my car back... with my Check engine light on . Now today August 1st 2019. My car was in the shop yesterday, I picked up my car and this morning it cuts off on me and my check engine light is back on. yes I thought the problem was fixed.
