Good food, but terrible service. Came here with my family for Mother's Day and it was a nightmare. Will not be coming back.

First and last time I will ever enter this horrible establishment. I waited 30 minutes just to be seated. After we were sat we waited another 30 minutes just to get water. Our server basically neglected our table, she didn't provide silverware or water. I had to ask Ariel another sever to bring water. When the food finally came, one of the orders was completely messed up and I tried getting sutas attention because she was our server but she clearly didn't care. On top of that we patiently waited for our silverware. Our food became extremely cold and we asked for silverware and we still didn't get it. We asked for the manager the kitchen manager came out and said "I can't help you" and walked away. I've worked in the restaurant industry for over 3 years and this is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. read more

Worst service I've ever experienced at a restaurant. Waitress complained to me about how she was working on her day off, which is also awful, and I was talked down to by another waiter. Took forever to get anyone to come to our table and more than 10 minutes after receiving our check for anyone to come over and pick it up. Will not recommend to any of my friends. Also, when I made a complaint about how the eggs in my order were raw, I was told that that's how they are supposed to be--last time I checked, sunny side up eggs should not have mucus in the egg white still! It was also soggy, so overall a huge disappointment. read more

We went for a late brunch on a sunny late March day. The brunch crowd was thinning when we arrived. I first noticed some old school video games near the entrance and then the set up for a build your own bloody. The scene was upbeat settled into a warehouse type venue with plenty of windows. There was a half wall separating the diners from the open kitchen. I would imagine this place to be very noisy during peak hours. It doesn't appear that they put in any sound baffling system. We ordered the breakfast bowl and drunch fry up. The bowl was basically your standard breakfast items in a bowl with sausage gravy over the top. It was ok and a bit oily. The other was basic breakfast on a plate. Also ok. Both kinda greasy. The standard bloody was ok. Overall this place is ok, nothing to write home about as it comes to breakfast food anyway. I was really excited to try this place out today, how I found myself being let down with the kitchen's failure to accept simple dish addition and alteration requests. For example, I ordered the garden bennie, which is a veggie eggs Benedict, which doesn't come with ham. I asked the server if I could add ham to my dish, however, she informed me the only thing they could do is give the ham to me on the side - they were unable to simply add the ham to the dish. After going back and forth with the server, I ended up just getting the ham on the side. It was difficult to add the ham myself, as the hollandaise was already poured on top of the dish and I ended up making a mess of my meal. We then ordered the woahnuts, which are bite size waffle donuts with a few different drizzles on top. We asked our server if we could get the drizzles on the size, as we would like to apply them ourselves in moderation. The server once again said they were unable to do that. Food was pretty good, but couldn't get past the terrible service. Hostess didn't know what she was doing and was extremely confused about what tables were open. We had to bring to her attention the open table that has been empty for 10 minutes to finally sit down. Overall seems like communication between staff was very poor. read more

Had lunch there on a work day. Menu very limited and not very accommodating to allergies, but okay, I can adapt. Waited forever for the server to get started. The meal (a frittata) said it had cheese, but when it came, it had CHEESE! You couldn't see any food under it - it looked like a plate of melted cheese, and while that sounds good, it was simply capping all the other ingredients that were swimming in grease underneath. Each bite was a surprise - either completely bland or burning with salt. I have felt rotten all day from it, and this was hours ago. But the worst part was that they added an 18% tip to our bill AND had the audacity to include a line for an additional optional tip! We were not a group - just a couple. I'm sorry - if your prices are 18% too low to pay your staff, then be honest, raise your prices, and let people tip what they want. But tipping is meant to show appreciation and shouldn't be mandated. As it is, we would have left a 20% tip, which is our standard unless the service is really bad, (which makes me think they've had enough people not leave tips because of bad service that they've moved to this system). Although our drinks were never refilled and service was slow despite only a handful of customers, we would have left our usual 20%, but they mandated 18%, so they lost out. Despite this being walking distance to my work, we'll never go back. Awful. read more

A family member told us about a new place called Drunch that offered some unique, brunch-focused foods. Since it was adjacent to my wife and son's favorite place to meet for coffee and snacks (the subject of a different review), we met there for a Sunday brunch. The decor is minimalist without being pretentious, and had enough charisma to make it interesting. The menu was extremely creative (e.g, banana bread French toast), and we all ended up ordering different things so we could share. Alex took fantastic care of us - explained menu items, was very attentive without hovering, etc - which added to the overall experience. The food was amazing! We had the steak and eggs, chicken and waffles, and the aforementioned banana bread French toast. Don't be fooled into thinking "anyone can make steak & eggs or chicken & waffles", because, while that may be true, you have never had either dish done this way, or this well! Insanely creative dishes that meld flavors you would not believe. My only regret is that we weren't in a position to try out some of their intriguing cocktails. My one and only negative point (which makes me wish I could give another half-star to this rating) was the noise level. While it's great to be at a place where everyone is talking and having fun (no faces in their screens!), it made it a little difficult to keep a three-way conversation going. That stopped being an issue once the food arrived, because our mouths were otherwise occupied with explosions of flavor and goodness. Columbus continues to be graced by small, highly inventive new restaurants, and it was a pleasure to discover the latest gem in our expanding crown. If you haven't been to Drunch, make a date with friends and get there. read more

Looks as though this one may have been covered on here already, but the bartender that was working Sunday Morning on 2/9 is clearly not cut out for this business. A party sat down at the bar with menus in hand which prompted the bar tender to quickly approach them in an extremely hostile manner to say "Guys! The kitchen isn't taking any more orders at this time". Confused, as this is clearly a business that engages in food sales, clarification was asked for (was the kitchen simply backed up or what there an actual mechanical issue that was going to cause this to be a significant delay.. you know, extremely basic info). At that point, the bar tender snaps back that she was "Simply going off what she was told" and "I'm just trying to do my job". This response is amusing for two reasons because to that point 1- No one challenged her on her ability to perform her job (but the defensiveness would prove to be extremely telling) and 2- in about 10 minutes, this person would then claim to be the Owner, after initially casting herself as some bottom of the totem pole employee who had noooooo idea going on. Obviously both of these things can't be true. She proceeds to then walk away and ignore them for atleast 10 minutes, during which time multiple surrounding tables were in fact, placing food orders. This prompted a member of the party to circle back to the hostess to inquire about the status of the table they were in line for.. at which point the bartender came flying out from behind the bar like a bat out of hell and stuck her nose into the conversation, demanding to know "what the problem was". The problem, of course, was that she made up a BS lie about the kitchen not taking orders for some unknown reason, when there was clear evidence to the contrary that the Kitchen was in fact in perfect working order and never stopped taking orders. This clears up why she was so evasive and refused to answer questions initially. The hostess assured the party they could order and they sat back down. At this point, the bar tender became visibly enraged and stated that she would in fact now take their orders but was visibly and audibly furious about this. She took two orders and then skipped over a 3rd person to go to the fourth, at which point she told the 3rd person she wasn't taking her order because "You have a VERY nasty attitude" and that "I'm not going to serve people like you at MY bar, and you're not going to act like this in MY establishment", there was a myriad of other curse words laced in this person's rant that can't be posted here but you get the picture. It's unclear if this person was actually an owner or not. Though this bar tender could perhaps potentially pass for one of the co-owners pictured in a few publications. But I did do some research on the origin of the company and this business is the Owner's first business venture. It will clearly be the last if that is the sort of attitude they think you can get away with in the hospitality industry. The low ratings of this company across multiple platforms are a clear indicator of a poorly run operation. Your customer was right, YOU are the one with the attitude problem, and it's clearly time for some introspection. When you go this far over the line, you don't get the benefit of "just having a bad day". That sort of behavior shouldn't even be displayed on one's worst day. The only place she should be working is Dick's Last Resort, and even then, I think she's probably too nasty for them also. read more

Ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich and the quality of the chicken was very poor. My wife had the chicken and waffles and same thing with the chicken. Tasted rubbery and not fresh. Service was decent and cool atmosphere but not impressed with the food especially for the prices read more

I so want this place to succeed. The food was disappointing. None of us finished our meals beyond a couple of bites. I ordered a martini and got vodka on ice. I hope they develop new recipes and train the bartenders. Please so that we have a good restaurant in this area!!! read more

If I could I'd give this place 0 Stars. As busy as it was yesterday, the customer service was horrible and we were ignored after being seated, after we ordered, and during our meal until we waited tirelessly for the check. Our meals were lukewarm and the server was a complete bitch from the looks of her who lacks experience. Don't come here unless you want to watch cartoons on every tv and pay for overpriced drinks! I'm neither impressed nor disappointed with Drunch. We got here around 9:30, about 1.5 hrs after they opened. There wasn't a line at all and we chose our own seats. By the time we left, the place was still basically empty. It's got an industrial, warehouse feel with a big open dining room. All of the chairs and tables are high tops. They have interesting menu ideas but the execution just isn't there. We had the fried chicken benny and the banana bread French toast. The poached eggs on the Benny were almost perfect but quite a few of the potatoes that came with it were underdone. I did really like that the banana bread french toast did not have any walnuts in it like banana bread normally does since I'm allergic to walnuts and usually can't have banana bread. The coffee was burnt and very bitter but they did have free refills if you'd want more. Our waitress, Kristin, was extremely friendly and nice. Overall, I had an overwhelmingly average breakfast and I may come back to try some of the other menu items but it won't be anytime soon. read more

Very average. I ate the carnivore flatbread which had a unique flavor because it paired chicken choizo with a balsalmic vinaigrette. Overall it was decent, however it was very overpriced for the size. I probably could have ate two. The atmosphere is decent and does have a parking lot. Service was pretty slow. read more

Stopped into Drunch for a late afternoon beer and dinner with my girlfriend. Bartender greeted us immediately, seated us and gave us some food and drink recommendations; ordered the chicken and waffles and it was some of the best I've ever had! Homemade, moist fried chicken on top of a waffle with a great consistency. Avocado fries appetizer also delicious, and the staff love to help make a selection from the tap list. If I wasn't from out of town, I'd eat here often! Food like this costs twice as much in Denver!!!! read more

I had been wanting to try this restaurant for a while before finally going this morning. I was very excited but upon walking in there was quite a bit of people in the door waiting to be seated. After five minutes there was still no hostess or employee that came to greet us. Four tables opened up that could have been seated and bussed but the wait staff was just aimlessly walking around, chatting, and doing other activities besides turning the tables. We waited for over 25 minutes to be seated with four open tables that just needed cleaned off. Finally a waitress came to us and said we'd have to wait to have the tables cleaned before being seated, but until I asked her to get them cleaned immediately because we had been waiting, she did with an eye roll. This problem continued as we ate our meal until the bartender left the bar to bus all the empty tables herself. Management needs to improve customer service and maybe hire a bus boy. Overall, the staff seemed lazy and annoyed to be there. Food was good but not for the lousy service and expensive prices. read more

I came here with my friend on Labor Day & it was obviously a lot busier than anticipated. We sat at the bar & the bartender Chris was helping us. He was running around like crazy, yet he had a big smile on his face & was extremely kind to every single person he helped. My friend & I felt horrible because some of the other employees made it more difficult for him to do his job properly, yet Chris continued to help customers without showing frustration. read more

I was hesitant about giving this place a try, given the reviews I'd seen on yelp, but my dining companion pushed me-"you can't always just go by reviews, let's try it." I'm glad we went for it, as I thought this place was great! We ordered a variety of cocktails (I got one with gin, and then the grilled pineapple one, and both were great, I just can't recall the names), as well as food. Service was friendly and pretty speedy, although we were one of just a few tables, so I can't speak for when they are busy. My friend enjoyed his pancakes-the portion was huge! I ordered the wings, which were very tasty. I also ordered the special that day-a chicken sausage patty with an egg and some sort of homemade avocado salad on it. The flavors were delicious together! If I'm being nitpicky, I wasn't wild about the chips and salsa that came with it, but that wasn't the focus of the order, so who cares? We'll definitely be back, and I encourage others to give this place a shot! read more

Brunch that lasted from 1130 AM to 1:30 PM receiving the food at 1:15PM. If you have a full day to waste this is the place for you. Me, my husband , sister and brother in law came to Columbus from out of town about a 3 hour drive for New Years Eve. We stopped here New Year's Day for brunch getting seated quickly it seemed like it would be great that's where the good customer service ended. After we were seated given menus and our drink orders taken me and my husband ordered waters and oj my sister and brother in law ordered mimosas and waters. We promptly got our waters my sister and brother in law got the mimosas but the one was made wrong my sister didn't get the right one until about an hour later I however am still waiting on my oj as I am typing this. As we were sitting unacknowledged we watched 7 other tables be seated and drinks given and had their orders taken while we waited for an hour and no one took our food orders. The waitress that gave us the drinks we never saw her again . So after an hour of not having our food orders taken I got the attention of a nice waiter who promptly took our order. He also gave my sister the correct mimosa. Enter the 2nd hour of waiting we saw at least 3 more tables be seated and we're getting food . After the 3rd table received their food before us we decided to leave. As we walked to our car the man we believe to be the manager came chasing after us telling us our food was at the window, after two hours of waiting. The only reason we went back was the fact he told us it would be on him and said the food was delicious.The whole time we were there we received one re fill on drinks this happening after we walked out and being asked to come back. We quickly ate the meals that we finally received, most of our party thought it was good . We left and went next door to Fox in the snow for coffee and pastries we regret not getting up earlier and leaving to go there sooner we could have had a better meal there with less than half the wait. I would highly suggest thinking twice about going here especially if you are from out of town with a drive. We wasted our day here and we couldn't do much of anything else after this before having to go home . read more
