Catfish special on Tuesdays. I went for the crawfish, but didn't enjoy them. They were salty and more like Louisiana style crawfish or Hanks, and I wanted Asian style crawfish. I didn't ask if they were fresh but taste frozen. Also, I prefer lots of fresh minced garlic not powder. Crawfish was $6.99 per pound. Cajun Fuze is best so far out this way but as of 2016 they are the highest per pound. Catfish was good and seasoned really good. Really fast and friendly takeout. Went to this place early in the season to try the crawfish, No Good. The flavors/seasonings of the crawfish tasted fine, spicy and garlicky but all the crawfish were crushed and probably dead before there were thrown into the boil. So basically not edible. When we asked the waitress, 'are the crawfish fresh or frozen'? She said she thought they were for sure fresh but that she would ask. She comes back and says yes she asked the owner they are fresh but since it's earlier in the season they are like that. So basically the owner didn't wanna come see us and tell us to our face that they were not fresh crawfish. Earlier in the season is not the reason for the crawfish being smashed and mushed. We like to try different places each crawfish season. This is counter order, they give you a number, and then bring out your food. Being our first time we tried the lemon pepper wings, fried fish, hushpuppies, and 6lbs of crawfish. The people are friendly and they have a large menu. The wings were crispy and definitely tasted the lemon pepper. They are good. The fish looked like cornmeal batter and it was fried to a crispy golden brown. Their sauces, like tartar and ketchup, are kept on a tray by the register. You pick up what you want. We got the Louisiana flavored crawfish. These had a good amount of spice and you can tell the spice is added after. If you suck heads be ready for firey lips. The crawfish were mixed in size, hardly any big ones, mostly medium, and a fair amount of small ones. This year most we've had have been on the larger side so this was a little disappointing. Also, some tended to be a bit overcooked and slightly mushy. The other fried food is good, but I doubt we will return for crawfish. read more

OMG! The poboys and gumbo are amazing! I ordered the fish poboy and my husband had the fish/oyster poboy with a large gumbo. These poboys were jam packed with flavor and the amount of fish and oysters that we were inside left me speechless, they were very generous with it. Will be back soon to try more. read more

Got the garlic butter crawfish at $6.99 lb and the popcorn shrimp w/ fries. Place was full and the wait was roughly 15 minutes for take out. The crawfish was not the best I've tasted but certainly not the worst. My complaint is that some of the crawfish was not fresh and the seasoning was salty. I enjoyed the popcorn shrimp though! I really wanted a 5 star experience from this place but I didn't get it. Ordered 2pounds of spicy garlic butter crawfish and a pound of the boiled shrimp and some boudin balls. Crawfish came out first and they were old, you could taste it. They were too fishy, something just was not right. The season that they were soaking in did not taste like spicy garlic butter either, it had a sweetness to it, as if they threw a pinch or two of sugar in it....weird. The boiled shrimp were good, I would def get those again. And then they forgot our boudin balls , ughhhhhh. My Wife and I come here once or twice a week...mainly for lunch. We usually order the Fried Fish w/Fries, ($2.99) one of their lunch specials. The Drunken Oyster is not Fast Food but it is pretty quick and always served really hot. The fried fish is always fresh and lightly coated, never greasy. The fries are seasoned and out of this world. Bottled Beer at lunch time is only $2.00. We also have ordered their Popcorn Shrimp which is always fresh and very tasty and a lot of it. Lucky runs the place and is happy to serve you. Lots of TV's mounted on the walls now and the place is really, really nice. Great restrooms also. The Drunken Oyster is one of our favorite places to eat....or pick up and take home. We see lots of happy people in here and everyone seems to be enjoying the food.....and the beer. read more

Update: The fried shrimp did not taste fresh it tasted frozen, the breading was sliding off, it was a real disappointment after wanting to come back so bad. The first time I came here the fried shrimp was butterflied and this time I got these sad little shrimp. Pretty much $1 each. On the bright side, The fried fish seems to be consistently good. This place is TERRIBLE! Today was the first time we had been at this place, upon entrance my first thought was "FILTHY'. There was cracker crumbs and paper all over the floor. Additionally, the tables were so sticky. GIven what we saw upon entering, we decided to order a small cup of gumbo. When I brought it to the manager on a napkin he told me "we don't have anyone in the kitchen with that hair color," and he balled up the napkin and walked away. Even though there was a waitress with the reddish hair color in my food. The food was okay. I had fried shrimp and fish, but the service was TERRIBLE! They brought out my fish, and forgot my shrimp, as well as they didn't bring out our fried oysters.
