Great food! We had a great time. Service was amazing! Cevicho pescado- best we've had in Houston. The 1/2 chicken was delicious, Not a fan of the tamale although it was good - personal taste. Roasted corn and flan (delicious) to finish our meal.

Nice small spot with terrific Peruvian dishes. Quiet with very friendly service. The Peruvian chicken is delicious,. I also especially enjoyed the frijoles and yucca fries. Table service, plenty of free parking, several beers and wines available.

Inka Brass brings unique Peruvian flavors to Spring, Texas--a refreshing change from the usual Tex-Mex . We ordered the half chicken and the clams; both dishes were fresh and packed with flavor. Next time, I'd ask for a bit more sauce, but overall, everything was delicious. I definitely recommend giving this place a try!

The food at Inka Brasas is straight fire--bold, flavorful, and made to impress. I got the Lomo Saltado and it was delicious--the steak was tender, and the fries had that perfect extra-crispy bite. The service was quick, friendly, and kept things flowing like a well-oiled flame. The ambiance has a warm, inviting vibe that makes you want to kick back and soak it all in. Plus, getting #CashBack just adds fuel to the flavor. IG @ CashBackQuest X @ CashBackQuest

The Peruvian food here is great. We had Lomo Saltado and Chaufa de Pollo. The corn nuts were a pleasant discovery we've never had in the scores of Peruvian restaurants we've visited. The place is very clean and well situated. Nicely decorated and quaint. Service is enthusiastic though refills are hit or miss.

The tostones are soooo good! Yucca didn't even make it to the picture!

I was spoiled in LA with so many great Peruvian places and boy do I miss them. My cravings for chica morada have been met! Definitely recommend washing everything down with the unique and freshly made tasting purple corn drink here! And for you plantain lovers there's sweet ones and the ones I got which were huge and amazing fried ones called tostones. Dipped in the to die for green sauce along with the yucca fries and dare I say I enjoyed the sides more than the main dish! Don't get me wrong the chicken was juicy, moist and flavorful but to me the sides and sauce and drink were the stars. We also got the classic lomo saltado which tasted exactly how it should. Portion sizes were fine for the price! So glad to have this restaurant in my radius for good Peruvian eats!

Loved how decorated the inside was and I would be lying if I didn't say how excited I was to try this place out. The lady at the front was nice and friendly but I found the menu to be rather small on options. Seemed to be more catered to a family dining single large order, opposed to an individual meal. My interpretation. I got the 1/4 chicken, rice, beans. Got home and tried it. Very average. Chicken tasted like it was a rotisserie from HEB or Costco; cooked well but nothing special, rice was bland and flavorless; and beans I did not enjoy either.

Good food and very good service! We loved the pollo brasas, ceviche, and the purple drink (I can't remember the name of it) Alberto was such a great server. He was working alone that day and it got busy but he took such good care of us. They had some people picking up orders also. I loved the aji sauce!

Great Peruvian option in the area. They were very patient with my 2 year old and made accommodations for him which I appreciate. The food was delicious. I really enjoyed the fried corn and the Tallarin Saltado was also very good. My son enjoyed his rice. Highly recommend!

Ceviche was salty, and the ají de gallina was more cream than chicken. The chicha was good tho

I ordered the Lomo Saltado and I must say it was underwhelming. The best one I tried is on 249 called Pollo El Rancho!

But it's been there awhile so I stopped in the other day to give it a try. The restaurant has a dauntingly large menu of Honduran and Venezuelan items. I had a pollo (chicken) pastelito to start, and the pork chop entree. As far as I can tell they do not offer desserts. The pastelito is a fairly small bite, but it was fried fresh and was warm and crisp when delivered. The crust was perfectly crisp and had just a bit of that promising shine of grease. The filling was quite delicious. The texture and flavor set me up to enjoy the meal. The pork chop was lightly breaded and seasoned and pan fried. It was cut quite thin. When a chop is thin there's about a 10 second window from under to overdone. The chef hit it perfectly. The texture and flavor were great. I often hesitate to order pork chops in a restaurant because they are normally dry and overdone. This was one of the best I have had. The dish came with rice and beans on the plate. The rice is a more sticky variety than the usual Tex-Mex rice, and has some different seasonings. I really enjoyed it. The refried beans are darker and have a rich flavor. The entree is served with a side of plantain chips. It's a very generous serving, easy for at least 2 to share. They were sliced very thin and fried to order, nice and warm when they came out. The seasoning is very light, so I did add some salt, but the texture was perfect and they tasted great. Service was fine but we had some awkward moments--I get the impression that the customers are mostly regulars. If you decide to come, just pick a table and sit--someone will eventually come to serve. The pace is very relaxed, you will need to allow time. They do have agua frescas, I would get that next time instead of soda. I can say for sure that they know how to cook, everything was done about as well as it can be.

Stopped in the other evening and got an Arepa Cabimera, and a cup of chicha for dessert. The Arepa Cabimera was a very different and delicious food experience. All kinds of things in it--shredded chicken, some sliced ham, slaw, hard boiled egg, what seemed like fried yuca (might have been the arepa), with two sauces, tomato and cheese. The whole thing ate like a salad with not a lot of greens. The flavors were very pleasant and complemented each other well. I've never had anything like it and can very much recommend it. Chicha (they called it Chichas) was another new thing for me. It is a sweet rice drink flavored with vanilla and cinnamon that drinks like a milkshake. The sweetness was just perfect, with the right amount of cinnamon. Great finish to the meal. The combination cost about $25 with tip, that's pretty much what it costs to eat at a food truck now. Most of the items are $11-14, but they have a kids' menu starting at $6. I have to mark them down a little for service. The first time I went I was refused service because I didn't speak Spanish. The second time the manager who spoke English was there and things were better, he is polite and helpful. All in all it's quite good, with some different offerings from the other Venezuelan trucks.

Made in Medellin has recently added a food truck at La Plaza de los Food Trucks on Gosling road. I…read moredrove through the other night and stopped to try it out. I got the Salchipapa Medellin, which is a loaded fry dish, and this one is seriously loaded--chicken, sausage and bacon with a house sauce on top of french fries, capped with a load of mozarella and cheddar cheese. It's at least two pounds of food and you should easily get three portions out of it. It came with three sauces--a white sauce that reminded me a little of tartar sauce (but not strongly), a pink sauce (the white sauce with ketchup) and a relish/chutney that had a complex, just barely sweet flavor. All went well with the dish. The fries are cooked nice and crisp and hold up to the layered goodness on top. The dish took awhile to make but when I dug in I understood why, it's a complicated concoction. I would say the chicken was just a bit overdone but all the sauce and moisture made it eat just fine. Delicious! While I was waiting I had a Lulo, one of their juices. Also called a naranjilla. The juice is a commercial product with lulo and pear pulp and a lot of artificial treatment (some artificial flavors, and artificial "cloudifier"--ingredients to make the juice cloudy. Never had that before.), but if you can get past that it's pretty tasty. They have a full range of other beverages. Their menu is quite large, with a variety of appetizers, burgers, and plates. They know how to cook and it's clear why they are successful.
