They appeared to have done a good job in my zipper repair and dry cleaning HOWEVER, I feel like they ripped me off and took longer than they said they would so I'm mad and giving them 1 Star. I'll explain. I dropped off a coat and two pairs of pants. The coat to be dry cleaned and the pants to have the zippers repaired. She said we could pick them up Monday after 5. We went there Monday at 5 and they weren't in the store. Had to come back Tuesday after 5!! I needed those clothes for work so that seems completely unacceptable. When a business says to expect something I expect it to happen when they say... Secondly, they dry cleaned my pants and charged me extra for this when I did not ask for it. $12 more down the drain. Lastly, they said they'd charge me $4 to fix a loop on my jacket and even called to tell me this and then the bill came out to $6... I'm pretty disgusted with the service and won't go again. read more

Amazing customer service! I dropped off some cleaning for same day service in anticipation of travel and promptly forgot. I have a flight at 5:40 AM and was really counting on the cleaning I had dropped off. A really great dry cleaner, and good at alterations too. The staff is always nice and goes the extra mile. I've brought in coats, my husband's dress shirts, suits, and even my wedding dress dry cleaned here. They always do a great job and the prices are reasonable. I will never take my business here again. I used to frequent this establishment because it was convenient to where I lived and the prices were affordable. Then one time while checking my bank statement I noticed that I had been double charged for an order, so the next time I went in with an order I showed this to the guy working behind the counter. He told me I would need to talk to the manager, as she was the only one who could take care of it, and she only worked during the day. So the next day on my lunch hour I went in to speak with the manager, and showed her my statement. Being that I have worked in the customer service industry myself, I explained the issue without anger or blame; however, she was rather cold and indifferent about it, and immediately started coming up with reasons why it couldn't be right. First she told me I must have pre-paid for my next order, which I had never done before (she was reviewing my history on the computer). Next I must have picked up two different orders and paid separately. Come on - seriously - it was only about $15, not like I was trying to take them to the cleaners (no pun intended) for hundreds of dollars. The whole time I had the distinct feeling she was trying to break me and make me confess that I was lying to get a whole $15 out of her. She finally conceded to give me a store credit for the amount, which I agreed to - not like I wasn't going to be able to eat because of the error or anything like that, I just wanted restitution for it, however it had happened, and nothing more. Then I don't know if one morning she woke up in a PMS rampage and fired all her employees or what, but after that incident she was the only one who was ever there when I went in, and must have remembered me as the guy who was trying to rob Dry Clean Today blind, as her demeanor towards me was always very unfriendly. The kicker came when I brought in a shirt for laundering that had snaps instead of buttons, which I had brought in several times before. She rudely informed me they couldn't launder the shirt because it had snaps, which could get damaged. I informed her I had brought the shirt in many times before and they had always taken it and said nothing. Again the inferences that I was lying began. I took my shirt...and my business...elsewhere. I don't know if she's like this to everyone, but from someone who works in customer service, her customer service etiquette leaves a LOT to be desired, especially as a manager who should be looking to keep your customer base happy and not alienate them so they'll never return. read more

I've tried several Dry Cleaners in the downtown/midtown area and this one is my favorite. Service is always nice, clothes always turn out great, and they have never lost one of my items. I also bring about 25 articles of clothing each time I come in too. On some occasions I'll need something with a fast turnaround and they always try and accommodate my needs! read more

I have used this place a number of times due to how close it is to my house. I will never come here again. Issue #1: I brought in a chiffon dress to have cleaned and pressed. They made me sign a waiver that pressing it might ruin the dress. I get that, they need to protect themselves. The dress ended up being pressed just fine, however, they didn't get the stain in the dress out and failed to tell me! Instead I found out when I had to wear the dress for an out of town event that I hadn't brought any other outfit for! Luckily, the stain was in a place that was inconspicuous and no one noticed. Had I known the stain didn't come out, I would not have planned to wear the dress. Issue #2: I took in a pair of slacks to be hemmed (which by the way, costs more than the $4.99 advertised). A few weeks after getting the slacks back, I noticed that the hem was coming undone. Thinking that perhaps it had been another pair of pants I had taken in to have hemmed, I took the slacks back and again had them hemmed. About a month later, I realized that the hem was coming undone again. When I looked closer, I noticed that the HEM HAD BEEN GLUED!!! Not sewn, glued together! Based on their shoddy and lazy workmanship, I have not even bothered to go back and have them either refund my money or fix it. Instead, I took the pants to another dry cleaner nearby who assured me they would use a needle and thread NOT GLUE to hem my pants. read more

I've been taking my dry cleaning here for years. It's WAY less expensive than other places, and I've only had a problem once - years ago - and they reimbursed me for the garment without any hassle. You can sign up for their "VIP" service, which means they keep your credit card info on file and give you a couple of laundry bags, so you can drop off your clothes without having to deal with anyone. This is a real time-saver. I'm not sure if they're using the new environmentally friendly technology - I doubt they could keep the prices so low if they were, because there's a high upfront cost to convert to that. So one star off. And one star off me for continuing to get my clothes dry cleaned. read more

I had one issue with a pair of wrangler jeans that my husband wears, and i cannot remember the exact incident, but at any rate they took care of the problem no questions asked. I have been going to Dry Clean Today on Alhambra for at least the past eight years. There are several observations I would like to share. This is one of the few shops I have visited in Sacramento that actually know me on a first name basis when I walk through the door. This speaks to their great customer service. Professionally, their cleaning exceeds the standards I have experienced elsewhere.Recently, after delivering a bundle of shirts for cleaning I discovered several hours later that I had left a pair of pants in my trunk. I drove by Dry Clean Today and met the manager who was just leaving. She took the pants and stated, "Don't worry about paying me now. Why don't you just pay when you come to pick up your laundry". Very convenient, prices are affordable, and turn around time is generally pretty fast. The only BIG issue I have with them is their tendency to stretch garments that have any elastic/lycra or synthetic material. They shrank a pair of pants to the point of no return and stretched 2 of my shirts -also no longer wearable. I complained about 1 of the items and the owner gave me a $20 store credit (the shirt cost twice that). By the second time, I just gave up on these guys. They're fine for basic items (dress shirts, twill pants) but I won't be taking any of my gentle items to them...and isn't that what the dry cleaner is for?? read more

This place is the best in East Sac. I been coming here for 3 years now. My shirts and dress pants always come out fresh and clean. I be goin to the club and my clothes get super dirty from tryin to keep all the girls off of me. I take me clothes over here and it's good as new for me to repeat the process over again. It's actually a bad cycle for me. But I have enjoyed coming here over the years. The Vietnamese man, is super friendly and funny as hell. I remember spending 30 minutes with him showing how to play pokemon go. Not that I ever played that or anything. This dry cleaner is run by good people, and they do the job right. This is very affordable place in town. I love talking to the girl who works there. Always friendly and professional. My clothes and my husband's shirts always look new. I pointed to the stain on my skirt and was pleasantly surprised that it was taken care of. The only problem I have there that the place is very hot inside. There is no AC and it's 100 f outside, I m kinda used to enter any office and have a cold air in my face but not this place. I feel bad about the people who have to work there. read more

I would say the staff and service is outstanding, however when it hits summer I try to avoid this location because there is no air conditioning working. I feel really bad for the employees that have to suffer in this misery of hot summer days. I think it's practically abuse and not giving their employees professional environment. I actually noticed that there was a review here from last July saying that their AC was not working. They still haven't fixed it?? Being a business in CA, the AC is the first thing you install in your business. Otherwise, service and customer service is great. Please invest in an AC. read more

Their insurance paid for the clothes and said Dry Clean Today was responsible for refunding prepaid amount for dry-cleaning service, BUT they won't refund the amount paid for the dry cleaning. I have been coming here for years and have always received great service from friendly employees. I would definitely recommend this business to family and friends. My only issue is the lack of air conditioning in the building. It's miserable for me on a hot day to go in and pick up my laundry.
