My hair is very long and I've been doing color on my hair for many years so it took a total of about 4-5 hours to do full highlights but they came out amazing! I'm in love with my hair, it's like a bronde brunette color and it looks very natural. They use amazing products on your hair there, I ended up purchasing the shampoo and conditioner they used and I love it (I forget the name). The price is around $500 including gloss, without including blow dry which is a separate charge of $125 if I'm not mistaken. It's worth it. Sarah and her assistant were so patient with me. I'll be coming back again next year!

At the consultation with Janine, she said I didn't need any more bleach on my ends and that she could tone out the brassiness. I was excited, and explained as having curly hair, I do not want to bleach it any more. At our appointment, I ended up being late (the address on lyft is not accurate) and I apologized for being late, and she simply said nothing and we started talking about the color. I had prepared several photos of blonde hair to show her and asked if she wanted to look at pictures and she said no, I saw your message on instagram (that she never responded to). She talked me out of doing lowlights even though I had described the color I wanted which was more dimensional but blonder in the front. Throughout our time together she was rough on my hair and hurt me- you should never try to pull your fingers through curly hair before brushing it and she did. I noticed during the highlights that she was pulling it down my hair on parts that were already bleached. She said she needed to as it was brassy (mind you that's not what she said during our consult). I mentioned I did not want this to happen as I want my hair to remain curly and she made a quip about me being the one that's blonde. I told her yes, but it's only ever been bleached once (root bleaches). I don't think she knows how to do color on curly clients to prevent damage. I was then left at the bowl to process. She had an assistant check my foils, and my hair processed way beyond a color that would match the rest of my hair which is golden blonde. It was quite white. Additionally she could not tone the brassiness out of my hair. I was left at the bowl until she could come back and explain she had lifted me lighter than I was previously used to and that my hair was still brassy at the ends despite her pulling down the bleach against my wishes. We decided to tone me at the bowl to match my hair. I got my hair diffused by Jo who was lovely. I saw that my roots were still so white it looked very cool toned and looked terrible. Additionally, this level of lift is unnecessary and potentially damaging on curly hair. I waited as she curled another clients hair (I had been there 4 hours at this point). As she reached two other clients before me, I talked with the salon manager who began to help me problem solve. She was amazing, and at this point I refused to let Janine touch my hair anymore and another stylist Olivia did the rest of my color service. Janine apologized at the end. I appreciate that, but I would have much rather her had charged me a late fee or for the appointment and refused me service than than botch my hair while being rude. My result now is all over yellow blonde hair with little to no dimension and more bleach on my previously bleached hair. Exact opposite of all my desires for the appointment. Wish I had never let her touch my hair. The salon comped my appointment which was kind to do. I would go back for another stylist as everyone else was kind and seemed professional. Olivia seems to have much more experience doing color on curly hair. I had assumed Janine would be the best and I was completely wrong.

I literally needed a 15min hair cut. It wasn't the fact that she was running behind what bothered me, it was the way the receptionist handle the situation. Her tone was so unprofessional, she basically told me " I don't know what to tell you, either come later or another day". I was being inconvenienced and on top of that no reasonable solution was offered to me. Their "solution" was to come back later or not come at all. There was no consideration for my time. I am pretty understanding when things happen but what makes a difference it's how it is resolved and handled. I really liked Esneda, but unfortunately, I won't be coming back to this place. Costumer service and professionalism is a must for me, and I don't believe this is a priority for them.

Oren assured me that the keratin treatment would be perfect for me and would help smooth, straighten, and revive my hair. I came in for the treatment with Shak. The only thing the treatment did was make my hair limp and knock out my color. It looked even more damaged and frizzy then before. Shak convinced me that I needed a cut in order to make it look fuller and more even which I fell for as I was going into a state of worry. He then gave me a long haired mullet. I was extremely distressed about the end result and just left before I became more frazzled. When I had keratin in the past my hair felt smooth and silky. It also required less air dry time and styling. My hair after their treatment dried frizzy, stringy and dull. I texted the salon a few days later with pictures of my hair explaining how my hair did not come out as promised. Laura asked me to come back in so that Oren could examine my hair. She assured me that they would take care of the issue. The feedback I received from Oren was that the keratin treatment was not right for my "damaged hair". I'd like to point out that my consult was with him and he was the one that told me how beneficial the keratin treatment would be for me. Then, his solution was to give me another keratin treatment. First he tells me it's the best treatment then he says it's not the right one and then he says that's the solution. Why would I do another keratin treatment when the first completely destroyed my hair? It was not only a waste of $450 but now I had to pay for new highlights and a cut to bring my hair back to some kind of life. Super disappointing. The entire experience. My hair certainly doesn't look like all the videos the salon posts on Instagram. I'm not sure those are all real videos and photos of clients as I'm not are all these reviews are real. Perhaps some clients have had good experiences here. I just want to warn those out there reading these reviews about my own experience. I have attached phots of what my hair looked like immediately following the treatment. Beware of receiving a keratin treatment here. Complete waste of $450 plus hundreds of dollars in repair.

The stylist came across as extremely confident and even criticized her usual stylist, claiming she was overcharging and using the wrong technique. He insisted on cutting her extensions (which were only a month old and in perfect condition) and then improperly installed them, leaving beads loose and uneven. She had to return the next day to have them fixed, only for him to cut more of her extensions and still do a terrible job. Instead of making things right, he charged her an additional $700 for the second visit and then had the audacity to suggest she could buy new extensions from him at a discount. To make matters worse, the extensions were so poorly placed that she couldn't sleep comfortably, and when she reached out for help, he was dismissive and unresponsive. He also pushed unnecessary products, claiming her hair would "turn orange" without them. After speaking with others, we found out that this stylist has a reputation for preying on out-of-town visitors, overcharging, and providing subpar work that needs to be fixed elsewhere. The St. Regis is an incredible hotel, but this salon does NOT reflect its standards.
