They have kindly squeezed me in both times. Appointments can be made online and through the dry bar app. Cookies and biscuits available for you to munch on. In addition they offer you Wine, Tea, Champagne which I love because this allows me to relax as I'm getting pampered. The wash has always included a nice scalp massage. They have always taken their time and been extra friendly. They use Drybar products which smell great and I have felt that make my style last! The only reason I go to this salon is because of the convenience of the location - but it is never a pleasant experience. This last visit finally solidifies that I will not be back. I had an appointment and when I arrived, they told me the stylist was running an hour and half late and they couldn't accommodate me with anyone else. The salon would be closing and there was nothing they could do. They blamed the client who had difficult hair and they didn't know until my appointment time that they would have to cancel on me. The receptionist gave me the Managers information, and when I sent an email, it bounced back. A year ago, I had an appointment and the stylist was pressed for time (she told me she needed to fit a break between me and the next person) and I walked out with unstyled hair! They offered to have some fix it --in one hour. I can't believe I went back after that, but again, the convenience of the location brought me back in. So please proceed at your own risk. But know that even if you have an appointment, you may not be seen, no apology will be given and you may get a fake email address for the manager. read more

I wanted to love this place but I've now been twice and both times were not good. The first was for a wedding, I asked for loose curls and a braid to add some fun. Right off the bat I was called about 20 minutes after my appointment time. It doesn't sound like a lot but I had a makeup appointment scheduled for right after and it made it stressful to think I would miss that appt. The stylist immediately tried talking me out of the braid I wanted and said it would be better to do a right braid on just one side as it would be more funky. Well ok. The braid was something my ten year old niece could do. Horrible. Not to mention super loose, and it was literally falling out. She tried to Bobby pin it under the rest of my hair and used like 10 pins. Not only did all the curls fall out by the time I got home but the braid was literally sliding out. I walked in and my fiancé said 'I thought you were going to get your hair done?' Yeah. That bad. I attached a picture of the 'braid' I paid an extra $10 for. The stylist also spent most the time I was there trying to sell my in her private services for hair makeup extensions lashes blah blah. It was uncomfortable. The second time I went was for a work event, and unfortunately got the same stylist. Same issues. Talked the whole time about her own services and this time even gave me a card and paused my styling to make sure I followed her on Instagram and once again, all the curls fell out before I got home and I ended up with straight hair again. Both times I was in the chair less than 20 minutes. I won't be returning. The only reason I have 2 stars at all is because the location is nice, bright and very clean and I was given a bottle of water. Other than that, never again. read more

Probably one of the worst places I've ever spent my money, in my whole life. Just for the record, NO ONE at drybar is a stylist. They do not go to cosmetology/hair school. They have NO idea about the science behind hair, or what to actually do with hair that isn't like their own. I went to this location a bunch in 2017/2018 when they opened and it was BAD. So bad that one time I had to go back in 40 minutes after a blowout and curl, and have them curl it again. I stopped working in Brickell in 2019 but I recently gave them another try when I was in the area.. and sad to say but it's the same bag of caca. No idea how to handle thick straight hair, burning scalps and casually toasting your half damp hair with a curling iron. For better results go to a REAL salon for a blow out. Horrendous!!!! don't bother making any requests or putting in any notes, they admit at the front desk they don't consider it. I asked specifically for a SENIOR STYLIST!!!! Period!!! Bcus I'm already well aware! These people are not even trained or able enough to do a blow out on fine -medium hair without an iron. I had to teach the "stylist" of how to do a blow out technique with the brush! When I got in to my hotel... my hair was already done!!! $60 + tip I paid!!!! I think based on check ins Ive been here 5 times getting the exact same service, most recently about 2 weeks ago. I love getting braids. I arrived today and asked if they had space, was greeted by a new girl I had never seen that told me no problem and had me sit down. As I did she decided to tell me that braids were add ons to blow out and that without me getting a blow out, I would have to pay $90 for an updo, instead of the $10 I always pay per braid. Yeah, thanks but no thanks!! What makes it even worse, the other employee that did my braid last time said hi and asked me how I was and how much had my braid lasted!! Love Love Love this place and what those girls do with my hair! The girls are awesome! I have had my hair done with Francesca and The only downside is the parking. IT IS WILD. Sincerely, it's the only reason I do not go more often. The last time I went, I did my hair, ate a quick solo lunch, and left right away. The parking cost me $18. Unless you live nearby and walk there, parking there is an unnecessary expense. This adds up. Specially if you wanted to take a little walk around or actually take your time having lunch. They should really consider trying to accommodate their guests with a validation. However, sincerely, the parking is the only downside to this place. I finally tried Drybar thanks to Groupon. I knew I wanted something different from the usual, so I came in with high hopes. Ther service was exceptional from beginning to end. I was offered a drink immediately and was seen in a timely manner. The lady who did my hair was friendly and understood what I wanted, so that made my first-time experience simple. The reason I give Drybar a 3.5 rating is for two reasons. 1) Although the stylist did a great job with the main part of my hair, it was obvious she didn't know how to style or blow dry bangs. My freshly washed bangs looked greasy upon leaving and I had to style them when I got home. 2) On Drybar's site, it states that each style should last you 2-3 days. I got my hair done at 12 pm and my curls (I got the Cosmo) were falling flat by 4 pm. Total bummer! Overall, while the experience was nice, I can't see myself shelling out money again for a product that didn't last me until the wedding I had to attend at 5 pm. read more

Very disappointed with the service I had today. My hair was damp as I had just used some water to style it while running errands before my appointment. My stylist seemed bothered and talked me out of washing and then proceeded a 25 minute blow out and rough flat iron that I could have done at home. I like to treat myself to a blow out every so often so I have been to this location a lot and have been attended to by a lot of different stylists. It can be hit or miss with the stylists. But most of the time as long as I request a simple style, it turns out great! Much better than what I could do at home. For me it's worth the $50 to treat myself, especially if I have a wedding or similar event to go to. read more

A+ for staff politeness Overall an OK experience. The staff welcomed me and told me they were running about 15 minutes behind, not a huge deal. Hair wash was great. My stylist was very nice, and asked what I wanted. I got a basic sleek look and asked for some root lift (so it wouldn't look flat). End product was very nice, but still a little flat. I didn't want to ask to fix it as there was already quite a bit of product in my hair. Don't get me wrong, the styling was good... but not memorable. I came with a $45 gift card (which should cover the styling cost of $45) but then was told there is a $9 service fee. Factor in $4 for parking and a $5 tip, and this was a $63 blowout. If you are in walking distance and have money to blow for some pampering, do it! Otherwise, save your money and just go to a regular salon. read more

I've been coming to this exact location for over 6 months now, and can't believe I haven't written a review sooner. Firstly the location is so easy to access on the third floor of city center and it's always kept immaculate and so clean! Now upon arrival the lady at the front Jamika is always so sweet and attentive. They even offer you a welcome drink! They use Drybar products for the wash and style and they always smell incredible. Now I've done my hair with a few stylist like Stephanie who is a lightening fast stylist! However the star of the show is Bielka, the manager, who you can tell is just absolutely dedicated and educated in hair styling. My blow outs every time are done so quickly and hair so much volume and bounce it's lasts me for a week! I even opted in for the membership it's that worth it!! I recommend this place to everyone. She should be fired immediately & never have a job as a front desk girl bc she clearly is not personable or capable of doing her job correctly. As a frequent Drybar client, I make it a point to visit different Drybar locations because I expect that every store will maintain the top rated customer service and solid results. On a trip to Miami this weekend, I decided to visit this location because I had bragged about it to my aunt who had never been. I told her it was a great place to go to and that I enjoy the results every time. We were about 10 minutes late for an 8am Friday appointment. We knew the location was next to Saks but nothing on the street indicated we had arrived to the correct location. I made several rounds trying to locate the salon. Arriving at the salon, the receptionist was very rude and abrupt. She made it seem like she was doing me a favor of still taking me on. Additionally, It was my aunts first time and she didn't speak English so it was up to me to walk her through the process. The receptionist assured me her hairstylist would speak Spanish and be able to help her. We got our hair washed at the same time. The lady who took care of her was very rude and unhappy to be there. The hairstylist asked my Aunt how Many washes she wanted and that's where I informed her that she didn't speak English. The hairstylist informed me that she didn't speak Spanish which is why I got involved while also doing my hair. My aunt later informed me that the hairstylist didn't do a good job of washing her hair. She just did the surface and done. When it was time to style her hair, I walked over because I needed to show my aunt the hair styles since the menu no longer exists. I also needed to translate for Aunt. As I was making my way to their station, my hairstylist told me not to worry and to leave it because the hairstylist knew how to speak Spanish but honestly deep down, I could feel and sense that the hairstylist attending my aunt was being rude and tried to be condescending to my aunt. There is more to this which I will report to Corporate but this was not one of best drybar experiences that i looked forward to showing my aunt. read more

Honestly, I wasn't impressed. I went to get a blowout with my friend for her birthday. Everything started well, but then the hairdresser started telling me things like "I didn't want to be here today", "I'm tired" etc which sucked all the fun from the experience. After Blo Bar in Midtown Miami closed I was left wondering where to find another blow bar. Enter DryBar. This was my first visit and I have to say the results were terrific. This blow out bar is on the third floor of Brickell City Centre. For now, BCC does offer two hours of free parking without validation. The service is $45 and includes shampoo, complimentary drinks and the styling. All done in an hour. I am familiar with dry bar when I used to live in NYC. Actually, we started my bachelorette party there! Drybar is a chain in which you can easily make an appointment online for blow outs, braids and up dos. What is cool is they have a look book so you can pick the exact style you want. They offer you wine, coffee or Prosecco. The price is $45 for a blow out regardless of length or thickness and $55 for a braid. They are professional and timely and have a lot of cool products. I only take off a star because I don't find the staff consistently warm and friendly, I understand they have busy days, but growing up in Staten Island it's nice to have a friendly convo with your stylist. I do recommend them for a good blow out of braid, especially thick, long or wavy/curly hair. read more

Who doesn't love a blow out? So far so good. 85% of the time I love my blow out and sometimes it's not bad. It really just depends on the stylist. I love getting my hair washed, especially when it is done well and the stylist knows how to do it. I wish the mirrors were in front of me rather than behind me, so I could see what they are doing, for when my neurotic self needs to correct or request or adjust something before the end of the blow out. Location is convenient in brickell city center, and they have packages if you plan on visiting often. The products are not my favorite in the industry, but they get the job done. So when all the appointments show up, they're at a loss as to what to do. The young lady at the reception was ill-equipped to manage the situation and in fairness to her, it wasn't her fault. Started off by the staff apologizing they don't have towels and that leading to my back being soaking wet, then the stylist literally yanking/tugging my hair when I made clear signs I was very uncomfortable, then I left chunks of my hair literally still wet. My service started at 11:49 and ended at 12:12. That should tell you how incomplete/rushed the service was for a women with a lot of hair.
