My dryer vent duct had disconnected in the attic, and the system had been originally installed with a mixture of sheet metal duct and flexible hose that was now sagging. After assessing the problem in the morning, a repair and cleaning was done in the afternoon of the same day. I had Nate Greenberg clean my dryer vent which is mandatory in the condo's I live in every two years. Nate did a superb job and even re-routed vents that were improperly up to code. On another occasion, unaware to me, a surge had happened and my dryer was inoperable. I called Nate, and although this was not his specialty, he did come down as a courtesy and what happened was the GFI button had popped. He saved me the expense of calling in an electrician for a simple matter. Now I will know for the next time. I would highly recommend Nate. Our gas fireplace was not working so naturally we called a fireplace specialist. He checked out the mechantics of the fireplace and soon determined that our problem was a bird's nest clogging the vent. After many failled attempts to clear the vent we were told that a wall and ceiling construction was needed to clear the vent and would cost around eight thousand dollars. Naturally this was upsetting since we were in the process of moving. Our last ditch attempt was calling Nate' s Dryer Cleaning Service who had done a superb job of clearing our dryer vent in the past. We had an issue with our brand new LG dryer. I called Nate in the evening and he called me back to tell me that he will make room in his schedule to come see me the next day since my dryer was not working at all! He showed up when he said he would and immediately took care of the clogged vent. He is so nice to speak to and does not rush! The very next week, the same problem happened again and he came over the very same day to see what the problem was. He did all he could, vents were super clean, everything was attached the way it should be, but it seems to be the dryer itself. Gotta call LG. Possible the worst customer service experience I've ever received from the business owner. Was informed I had a break in the vent, not a problem right, that had to be fixed. After 3 failed appointments to be met by this company I was informed after taking half a day off of work to get the issue resolved they never intended on coming to said appointment and never called to cancel. After speaking with the owner, Nate, the condescending tone I was given was enough to make my blood boil and " wasn't his problem you took off work " Stay as far away from this " owner " as possible. For the first time in years, I feel confident our dryer vent is actually clear. Unlike most who blow out from the dryer and bid you adieu, Nate climbed on the roof and snaked from top to bottom. (I live in a condo with a most undesirable venting set up). And, if that was not enough, he noticed our bathroom vent had been serving as a bird hotel (probably for years, based on what he pulled out). He cleaned it all out and replaced the broken cover with a new one (which should keep the chirpers out next nesting season). Good guy, straight shooter, solid work. I was very pleased by, and impressed with, Nate Greenberg. He is experienced, courteous, knowledgeable and, most importantly, very responsible. I had a substantial dryer problem and Nate (who had never met me previously) drove over the TZ Bridge in high winds and pouring rain to keep our appointment. I was so sure he was going to cancel or stand me up but, to my amazement, he did not. When the weather delayed him, his office gave me a courtesy call to say he was running a bit late. Upon arrival, Nate analyzed the situation and explained to me my options, potential problems, and the cost involved. Nate completed the job at a fair price, and my dryer has never worked better. I had no problem with Mr. Greenberg last year when I needed inspection done on my dryer, however, this year was a big disappointment. I had a 4pm appointment and left work early, waited 2 hours and didn't hear from him, I called and he stated he was a little behind schedule and was still on his way. I waited until 7:30pm and called again and this time no answer. I packed it up at 9pm and went to bed. I couldn't believe he didn't even give me the courtesy of just saying he couldn't make it so I wouldn't be looking out my front window every time a car went by. Very bad for business, can't use him anymore even if I wanted to. Very disappointed. read more

Everything started off good but turned out to be one of the worst experiences I have ever had. One of his employees came to clean our vents out in September. The guy was very nice and told us we had a break in our vent and I needed to call to have it repaired. I called him repeatedly and no appt was made, I left messages with no return phone calls. After 2 weeks I get him on the phone and he tells me he will return my phone call the next day. He never did, my husband had to call and finally got an appt. My complex gives fines if you don't have your vents cleaned out by a certain date, he told me he would call the property manager and never did. We had an appt with him for 10/9 between 11am-3pm, huge window but okay. My husband takes off a day of work, we call and he cancels us on account of rain. Never called to tell us the weather could be an issue, and didn't even seem to have any recollection of the appt when I called. Then proceeds to be very condescending about his camera being $10000, and he can't do it. Now my husband is out a day of work, we have to now find someone else and take off another day of work. I work in a customer service based business and when we make service appts that we don't think are possible due to weather we give a 24hr heads up and call again the morning of. This guy is so unprofessional and very rude. He made zero effort to rectify anything besides now calling my property manager which should have been done when I called 2 weeks prior. Very frustrating and clearly has no regard for people's time! read more
