Made a reservation at 5:30 but the restaurant was not full accept the bar. By the time we finished dinner around 6:30, the restaurant was pack. We tried 2 out of 4 pasta on the menu. The portion of full/half was not much different except for the price. The special item which was not the menu, shrimp scampi with squid ink which was spicy but really addicting. Great restaurant right off wonderland station and with beautiful ocean views on the balcony! Food was good, great selection of oysters.

Came here for an early dinner, without a reservation, on Memorial Day. Even though it was pretty busy we were seated right away with a partial view of the ocean. Our server Jimena was friendly and efficient. The martini was decent, and the salmon entree was outstanding. I recommend if you are in the area. read more

Tried Dryft for the first time. Such a great area. We enjoyed the food and the service. We had burrata and shrimp cocktail for apps and then the mahi mahi and chicken under a brick. Everything was delicious. The music was a bit loud, but it didn't cause us to have to yell or anything. The one negative thing was we sat by the door to the patio and it was like a wind tunnel every time the servers had to go in/out. We would definitely recommend this place and return to try more options read more

AMAZING!! I love this place. Please if you order anything on the menu get the oysters and the tres leches cake. Also the clam chowder is soo yum! It has bacon bits, creamy flavorful base, clams cooked to perfection and topped with crunchy homemade croutons. All of their seafood tastes so fresh. The tres leches changed my life. It's topped with strawberries whipped cream and toasted coconut! Highly recommend. My go to spot when friends are In town and want to try fresh seafood. read more

So I wanted to love this place. When I came in I asked for a seat at the bar to wait for my husband. There were none so they told me I could take a seat at a table but my 90 minute time allowance would be starting. I opted to sit on side rail and was told by hostess that the bartender may or may not wait on me. Needless to say they did not. I contacted the manager who got me a drink but at the same time the bartender came over to tell me there was no service on the rail. Rude as that was when I went to check on the status of a table 30 minutes later I was told to wait another 30! No one took my name when I came in or thought that it would be advantageous to do so. No stars, if I could deduct 20 I would!!!!!! As I sit waiting for a table the waiter just thanked me for the review. Same one who told me there would be no service from the bar. Perfect! We have been lucky enough to have Dryft near where we live. We go there often and also do takeout. Everything is delicious and beautifully presented, even when you do takeout. The decor was great but poorly maintained. Only one toilet wasn't clogged and labeled out of service and there was toilet paper all over the floor. Service was slow; the waitress was good when she was around so she may have just been overworked but the three hostesses at the stand were quite unhelpful and apathetic. Drinks were very overpriced and light on the alcohol. Overall, it has the look and price of an upscale restaurant but not the quality. read more

Off the bat the manager Jay made my friend and I feel welcome at the outdoor bar. Before we even sat we received waters and drinks within 5 minutes (if not shorter). The best part of this restaurant is the outdoor seating overlooking Revere beach. The pink striped half shel oysters were the star of our dinner. The lobster roll was good, but you can get lobster roll in downtown Boston for $10 less. Our waitress was nice and attentive. read more

We came here to celebrate a birthday. What's great choice!!! I heard about this place and we were finally was able to go check it out. It was delicious!! We got the crab cakes... they were the best I've ever had! The heirloom salad was fresh and very good. Both entrees, half roasted chicken and the salmon faroe were excellent! Everything had great flavor... no blandness here! It is very pricey though but so worth it for the quality and taste you are getting!! The drinks were yummy too! I have just had a horrific and horrible experience at this restaurant. I called ahead of time to let them know about my small service animal. They told me it wasn't an issue and I would be fine. Upon arrival the hostess questioned the service of my dog. I explained one reason was for severe anxiety. I've been to high end restaurants in boston and NY, and have never been questioned or had an issue like this. We were seated in the booth and the dog slept next to me. She made no sound or anything. The waitress came by and asked if the dog would like water. Every one at the restaurant came by staring at us. They tried to tell me that the dog needed to be on the disgusting floor where she was unable to do her service. I need her to be next to me to prevent me from having a panic attack. The manager, Jason Jackson, came over and made a scene. He loudly mentioned my disability to the whole restaurant and said emotional support dogs don't count, since all I have is anxiety. I was shocked. I explained there were other issues but he didn't did not care. I also mentioned it is against the law but he smirked and showed no emotion. After I told him we were leaving, I watch him high five a costumer and "said can you believe that shit." Not only was I embarrassed, but extremely uncomfortable. Not to mention i had a friend visiting me from out of town and she was horrified. I went to the hostess stand and explained that one reason is for my service animal is due to my father who has recently passed away to brain cancer, and that I have a doctors note certified that my dog is needed as a service animal. She didn't care and tried to argue back with me. I left astonished and traumatized by this experience. My uncle called the restaurant and the manager kept calling him a she and yelling at him. He said you don't tell me how to run my restaurant and hung up. In a time when everyone is focused on mental health, clearly some still find it humorist. You never know what someone is going though, they may look fine on the outside, but not on the inside. I plan to to post this everywhere and file a complaint with the BBB. I would never want this to happen to someone else. read more

We ate outside, which we love to do if weather permits. So right away that was a plus. We had an ocean view. The food was great! My husband ordered clam chowder and oysters on the half shell, which he enjoyed. Oysters were in line with prices in Boston, which are a little high. I actually love this quaint establishment. Although tucked away, it's def worth the drive & experience. The menu changes from time to time but either way, you're not disappointed. I love the owner, who always makes it a point to stop by to say hi whenever It's not too busy. The decorum is to die for & it may not seem like it at first glance, but this place is pretty big. I've yet had anything I didn't like from here & I'm a very picky eater. This time when I went, I was surprised to have a live musical performance, so authentic & warm. The drinks are good, the food is great & the ambience is unmatched. The only thing that can be a little distracting is how loud it can get, but it's to be expected. We came to Dryft on a friday night and found the atmosphere to be busy and jubuliant; much better than The Fine Line, which is adjacent to this place. We came in for two quick bites, clam chowder and calamari. I was impressed with the portion size to price ratio, however both items weren't the best renditions I've tried. The clam chowder, although it had tons of clams and potatoes, just didn't taste like clam chowder. The calamari was just meh. I would return to Dryft in a heart beat due to it's convenient location. Came here with some friends last week and had a wonderful experience. We didn't have reservations so we had to wait about 15 minutes but had a seat at the bar while we waited. We started off with a couple dozen oysters that were delicious. I got the Faroe island salmon which was some of the best salmon I've ever had with the tastiest mango salsa. Beautiful view, delicious food, great vibes. We dined here on a Sunday night with a reservation. We were seated facing the ocean which was perfect. Dryft has a great cocktail list, small plates, entrees, raw bar, and dessert. We ordered the sesame crusted tuna and salmon tartare the share. Our server had the kitchen split the tuna for us which was a nice gesture. Both were delicious! The tuna was cooked medium rare and the rice was well seasoned but not too salty. The tartare came with tortilla chips and had a nice citrus creaminess. We'll definitely be back! read more

I LOVE this place. However I am extremely sad !!! They got rid of the best dish on the menu!!!! The gnocchi butternut squash with pesto :( This is one of THE BEST gnocchi dishes I have had in my life. I am well traveled!! Why did they do this?? I use to look forward to sharing this with my husband. We tried some other apps that were delicious to fill the void but it's just not the same. We drive all the way from Gloucester MA just for the gnocchi. DRYFT PLEASE BRING BACK THIS AMAZING DISH!!!!!!! we came here for a graduation celebration this past weekend. the service could have been better. the host reception stand does not honor reservation times well. beyond that, the service was good from our waitress. the inside of the restaurant was very nice with a good ambiance. for food, the calamari was solid and i thought the buratta had good flavor but there was only like one and a half pieces of toast for the entire dish which was confusing. i had the salmon which was like an asian fusion dish and the salmon was cooked perfectly and the dish had good flavors. a couple of people had the burger which was massive but they said it was solid. the truffle fries are just regular fries with a truffle aioli sauce. the sauce was delicious but they aren't true truffle fries. the lobster roll was pretty solid finally, the oreo tart dessert was one of the best chocolate desserts i have had in a long time. my dad liked the tres leches cake and liked it read more

Want to propose to your significant other? Head over to fackin' dryft. Drinks are decent. Street corn was good. The bad : prices were a bit high. I asked the host stand if my party of 3 could sit out by the water. She said nothing was available. I then watched 3 people get sat at an open table by the water 1 minute later. Had a great experience last night at the new Dryft. The food was great, we had the Mediterranean App and the Burrata App split between four of us, both were delicious. Followed that up with a dozen oysters and they were so so good. I got the Salmon entree and unfortunately I don't like kale, the waitress and chef happily switched it for green beans. We had a bottle of Malbec which was perfect for a cooler fall night on the patio. Staff was very helpful and friendly, overall we will definitely be back. They were also wonderful with mask wearing and Covid precautions, felt super safe. read more
