Place was nice for accommodating us because the place was busier then I would have anticipated for a Monday. However it rained that day and the options given was an area wet with rain or a corner table that is better for apps then an actual meal. Thankfully another table graciously offered their table because they were going to be done soon so we decided to wait so we could have our meal with a view. And a view it was, weather was great with a nice breeze. We ordered the Tommy Atkins drink... yummy and sweet. The menu was diverse for meals and depending on time differing price for lunch vs dinner. We both settled on the fillet mignonette, I know how original! Lol. It was entertaining because after saying what we wanted, the waitress said she had to check if they had it because they were out this morning... they did!! Food was very good, with many flavors. However, it was pricey for smaller portions(please note)! So get ready to open that wallet and possibly be hungry after. Ambiance is nice... music is a great touch. Don't get me wrong!!! Although I won't be back for dinner because if I'm going to spend Boston prices I may as well be in Boston, I do want to try their brunch. read more

Very busy on a Sunday night but totally worth it! We didn't have a reservation, so we had to sit at the bar indoors. Good drinks, beautiful ocean view and good service. Prices are very reasonable compared to other seafood places in the area. I had the tuna poke bowl, amazing proportions of fish to rice etc. and so fresh and delicious. It's a very pretentious place with extremely mediocre food, so go if you think it will make you seem cool but not if you are remotely a foodie. Grilled octopus was like shoe leather, chopped salad was bland and mostly jicama- the food descriptions far exceed the execution. Something new and worth a visit. It looks like it will be a great place to visit in the warmer months as it does have a nice view of Revere Beach. Little neck oysters and the wings were the bar food of choice and I would highly recommend it. Decided to stop by Dryft having come across articles about its opening and great menu. We made reservations for a weekend and got seated at the exact time, not a minute more or less which was really something to note. The restaurant had a good ambience with some beaty music and a great view. The service was warm and friendly and we were given a few recommendations on asking. Our drinks were good and the bar menu has a decent selection to chose from. The 2 starters we opted for were: - The Mediterranean platter which could have been better but was tasty nevertheless - The Shrimp Kabob was a blast of flavours, although the quantity / portions ought to be more. We knocked the plate clean in just a few seconds - Our main course included the burger, chicken under a brick and gnocchi. We weren't taken away by these dishes, they were hearty however lacked the punch it needed. The gnocchi had an odd aftertaste, one that I haven't had before. Overall, the seafood here seems to be the better bet so explore those the next time you head here. The menu is a concise one at the moment and I do hope they add a few more options to the roster, dessert as well. Would definitely give Dryft another visit! read more

I come to this place often and it never disappoints. They have great expresso martinis and a good variety of other drinks. I really enjoy their gin cocktails they are so delicious. The service is great and the food is pretty good too. I suggest trying the oysters they are so fresh. We flew to Boston and stayed in Revere for 3 days prior to our Canadian cruise. We wanted to experience a sea food restaurant in the area. I searched for one on line and saw Dryft and also read the comments which were steller. They were right! The food was wonderful. The chef even came to our table to ask if we were enjoying the food. While there, we dined at other sea food restaurants but everyone in our party agreed that Dryft was the best. I highly recommend Dryft for the food and also the great service. read more

Let me start by saying the food here is always amazing. But the service is horrible. Me and my husband sat at the bar outside It was a beautiful Sunday evening. There was 4-5 bartenders behind the bar however the men were huddled in a circle while the one girl took the whole bar. Once she realized we were not greeted at all by any of the men she brought us waters and apologized for the wait. I ordered a Cosmo , It came out the perfect color pink which I appreciate since most people will make it red. My husband needed a minute to decide his drink so she went and took other peoples orders while he made a decision. I heard her ask about four times for the men to take my husband's order However, no one came up to us... she eventually came back over after taking multiple people at the bar by herself with no help from the men still and noticed my husband still had no drink. She made my husband a Moscow Mule very quickly and apologized again. This whole time the boys are still in a circle talking. Every time we are here it seems the man behind the bar are more interested in drinking with the girls at the bar and getting drunk or talking to each other. The only reason I'm giving this bar three stars is because the bartender Amanda made sure we enjoyed our time there and was very apologetic on behalf of her coworkers. Otherwise they would've got one or two stars at the most. There is clearly no teamwork here and the Manager dressed very inappropriate and was very flirtatious with the male bartenders. She didn't seem to notice anything going on or care to tell her employees to work. We ordered our salads and before we could start them, some man we never saw prior started snapping at us. We had no idea what he was saying or why he was so angry! There were only two of us but my sister figured out he was snapping "Scampi..... scampi, scampi!". She hadn't even started her salad and evidently he had our entrees. (Yes, she had ordered Pasta Scampi but why did we have to have it when we got our salad?). This was not some cheap diner with $27 pasta-although clearly the owners care only about their pockets and nothing about service. No excuses, you are charging those prices, there should some level of customer service. We asked to wait until we finished our salads and he came back and was even more unpleasant..I never met him, it wasn't about us, it was about some perverse under trained manager who only sees the bottom line shouting at him. I would give zero stars if I could. This place is very busy and appears to have decent ambience. We sat outside on the patio... there were 4 of us, the place was full and "busy" but only because there was only one server outside. He was decent but when he dropped the check and I gave him a hundred dollar bill for change he never came back. So not only did we give him a 30$ tip bc we all work in the service industry and can understand being in the weeds and having a hard shift. But we waited for over a half hour for him to show up again and also asked for a manager who never came. We had to leave bc 3 of us were visiting and had to get going. I called the restaurant every day for 5 days and was told every time the manager was too busy to come to the phone. They took my number and promised to get back to me. Now do I expect them to just believe me? Not really but like I said I work in the industry, you can't tell me that when they closed out the register for the night they weren't a hundred dollars over or the server didn't have an extra hundred dollars. They knew who he was bc like I said he was the only server out there. So if you want to wait 40 mins for your order to be taken. Wait another 40 for food and drinks and get robbed then by all means enjoy.. if you want quality service and honest management skip this one bc even a phone call acknowledging the mistake would have been better than absolutely nothing to attempt to rectify this situation.
