It's not fancy, but it has a ton of character, with graffitied dollar bills coating the walls of prior patrons who left their own mark and a mish mash of furniture that at first seems cramped, but actually is an ingenious yet comfortable use of an irregular space. EVERYONE I've ever interacted with there is super friendly, fast, organized, they just hustle. When its open, its crowded. But they get you cycled in there rather rapidly, so don't lose heart. When I first went it was due to a meeting I had in the area, I ordered a salad (yeah yeah I know) a spinach salad with fried chicken tenders and a honey drizzle.... oh my. It was good enough that when I got home, my family and I went back again that night and tried the wings. The flavor selection is pretty wide, they have specials days on the wings (I have no idea when these are, I don't care, it's a good deal even without them). But they were so good that I really wanted to go back to see if they really used frozen wings on the regular but they don't. The wings were fresh clean and delicious I love the teriyaki Cajun it's my hands down favorite. I went on a Thursday, which also happens to be steamed oyster night. Damn was he right. The wings could be hotter but they are a good size and Monday is 50cent night. The inside of this place is not impressive but immediately cozy and comfortable with all the dollar bills, signed and stapled everywhere along with John Hancock inspired sharpie signatures across every single wall. I wanted somewhere to eat on a late Monday night and I came across this place. It just so happen to be their day they have specials on wings! I couldn't have been happier. Every week the price changes, but today they were $0.50 a piece. I went crazy. Lol. We got the Sweet Chili, Gamecock (horseradish Cajun remoulade), The Cuban (Honey BBQ with island spice) and Citrus Kick (citrus juice and Texas heat). A table that I didn't realize was watching made rude comments when they noticed after 10 mins it was changed so I'll letting ppl know I love Ds I recommended it to all my fellow coworkers. Awesome wings! I loved the Gamecock and Sweet Chili flavors best, but honestly all the wings we tried were delicious. The raw fries are a great too. But you must try the fried pickles, they aren't like the normal chips, they actually cut the spears into pieces soooo gooood. (But careful they are super hot when they first come out). D's is sort if a hidden gem, tucked away in the back of a strip mall. So make sure you swing by and check them out! read more

The place was not too busy and we were greeted instantly. We were sat down and drink orders were taken, as well as our nacho app order. The service was good, and the waitress was very personable. Our dinner orders were then taken and the whole process was very smooth. As you look around you will see a lot of little nit-nacks that scream sports bar, and dollar bills that I am assuming were left by customers. Overall, a fun vibe. Food: Again, sports bar vibe and sports bar food. The nachos came with a massive portion, and were good. Not the best nachos I have had in a place like this, but still good. For my dinner I got the club sandwich and my girlfriend got the wings. The sandwich was really good, and the portion was fantastic. The fries here are honestly the stand out as they are seasoned to perfection. The wings were also good, and very well priced for the portion. The lemon pepper is, in my opinion, better then the buffalo wings here, and worth a try. Again, come in with the sports bar mentality and you will be treated to above average bar food and really nice portions. Conclusion: Fun atmosphere, lots of customer history in the decor and really good bar food. I would rather go here then any of the chain sports bars that are out there. This is a great place to eat! The service is fast and friendly, and the food was all delicious! The inside of the restaurant is very cool, despite its location being in a strip mall. The restaurant is extremely family friendly, plus the menu offers more than just wings. My daughter and I came here for lunch after reading reviews about them having the best wings. We ordered all flats which are 20 cents extra per wing. The sweet tea is excellent . We ordered garlic Parmesan and lemonyaki wings. We also had the sampler platter. Everything was hot, fresh, and well prepared. I especially enjoyed the mozzarella sticks and the fried zucchini was phenomenal. My daughter liked the onion rings and the fried mushrooms. First let me say that the quality of the wings are great and they were fried properly. The lemonyaki wings were good not great , but they lost me with the garlic Parmesan. Literally a very bland white sauce with loads of garlic powder poured on top. Bummer because that's the main new thing we wanted to try out. My daughter, a foodie in training, and I spent a considerable amount of time talking about the lack of creativity with that sauce and what we would have done differently. I guess I should have went for the spicy Parmesan that was raved about but my daughter doesn't care for spicy. The waitress was excellent, very attentive and made it a great mother/daughter lunch date. We also enjoyed the music. We called for a pickup order and the woman who answered was extremely kind and patient with us. We ordered nachos, Southern Schnitzel, and the Beaufort Stew. When we picked it up the staff was extremely friendly and even gave us a better knife to take with us since we were in a hotel. Sadly, the food left MUCH to be desired. The stew was not seasoned at all. You could literally see the few sprinkles of old bay. It was also dry, but a stew should have some sort of sauce/liquid. It was the saddest-looking dish, which is so much worse when you've been on the road and wanted to spend money on something good. The schnitzel was a little better. The mashed potatoes with that dish were the best thing we received, the only thing seasoned well. The nachos were extremely disappointing. They were the nachos I would have made at home.. but not even as good as that. The tomatoes were chopped too large, the romaine lettuce would have been more conducive to nachos if it was shredded, and the chicken was sparse and bland. All I can think is.. maybe since the name said wings, we should have just ordered wings. Hated this meal was such a disappointment. read more

I really enjoyed the atmosphere of this place. Me and my boyfriend went on a Wednesday night when he was in town and wanted some wings. He doesn't even like seafood but we got the firecracker shrimp and it was phenomenal, it's like a spicy bang bang shrimp and they were only $5! We also got wings, the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the wing sauce is tomato base, and it homemade which is thoughtful, but the wing sauces almost tasted like salsa at a Mexican salsa from a Mexican restaurant. We got Cajun wings and they were spicy but they were good i just prefer natural buffalo sauce. The bacon cheese fries were too die for though, and their homemade ranch! We went for the all you can eat crab legs. Typically, at most restaurants, all you can eat means they will bring you some at first, and then you have to wait 30 minutes each time for more, so you get tired of waiting and don't get much. Not here! Our waiter told us that he would keep bringing them until we told them to stop, and he wasn't kidding. Refill baskets were showing up every few minutes. This place came highly recommended from a local. We went pretty late after the GA/SC game (go dawgs!) and had 8 people so there was understandably a wait. We were seated and ordered drinks. The waitress was very nice but a tad forgetful. Anyway, all the food coming out looked great so we were excited to try. One of our party members got undercooked shrimp. They were very nice about it and offered to make it right. My husband and I got the boneless wings and were not impressed. The mild sauce isn't like normal wing sauce, and the Carolina gold sweet BBQ left a funny taste in my mouth. Everyone else's food was good (hamburger steak and bone-in wings). Forgive me. I never write these and yes, I am quite the foodie. Usually I choose to cook at home or tuck my tail and never return however, years have accumulated on my experience and nothing has changed; original location vs. a non affiliated location yes, but nothing has changed...Those native know what I am speaking of. Being a single mother this is quite the adventure since I know public appearances are short and sweet or completely avoided with a toddler at all costs until they are at least 5 years of age. The waitress was great and prompt as always however, within 15 min after ordering the children's food was brought to the table. Wait a minute batman?! I foresee a problem here already and actually based on previous experience at the other Ds; closed now and non affiliated but yet managed by the same husky voiced blond male manager... After 15 min and a few comments to staff of my concern over the prompt execution of the children's food, mine was finally delivered 15 min later covered in more salt than even a 20 year old could handle and obviously doused because of my disappointment with the kitchens execution rate. No worries, I am a team player and flexible, my meal was fixed and eatable with a fresh boil (Beaufort Stew) to dumb down the "old bay spice," however by this point my 2 year old was beyond done and rambunctious. I asked for my togo box and left. I recall living in Forest Acres years ago and frequenting the non affiliated Ds there with the exact same menu and same manager experiencing the same issue of serving kids 15 min before the parents and complaining. It is not my style to ever complain and sport bar food is nothing to ever complain over... however any normal establishment catering to the "responsible" party should be more considerate and not continue excuses. Children should always be fed last! I am joking but really I am serious. Any parent should agree with me, unless your toddler is a Saint. Yes, I could always hit the McDonalds drive through but this is actually the only place in my entire 37 years of living in Columbia, aside from the none affiliated Ds in Forest Acres , were this situation occurs. I will add their wings are dry and over done. The Beaufort Stew would have been excellent had the shrimp not been freezer burned as I discovered eating in the comforts of my home. Didn't like this place at all. Came here afterwork to grab a bite with a friend. When I sat down at the booth I damn near fell out of the booth. It was like sitting on a see-saw the other end of the seated raised up and I needed help to balance myself back on the seat. I ordered the spinach and cheese quesadilla. This was dripping in grease. This was the greasiest piece of food I have ever tasted in my life. It was completely horrible. Grease was pouring out of the quesadilla and was unbearable to eat. Worst place ever for crab legs! They've developed a strategy by stalling to bring out crab legs and the amount!!! Group of 4 went for the Tuesday night feast and we received 2 baskets with 4 legs...not claws! That's right 2 legs per person. We were waiting with wet meaty hands until they bought the next batch. I told the waiter it was a ridiculous process and she agreed. The manager came and made up a bogus excuse as to the process. I told her I will never come there for crab legs again.
