Food was soooo good! Falafel sandwich is my go to and this one was as good as my first one in New York. Pickled cabbage with romaine onion and tomato with spicy tahini sauce and a decent amount of falafels. Really yummy and big enough to sustain me for hours. read more

This wasn't what I was expecting when I got the Chicken Shawarma Pita Wrap. It was definitely pretty healthy. There was a ton of chicken and red cabbage. This wrap;however, was very wet. It was so wet that halfway through the wrap collapsed on itself. Sadly, I had to throw it away. The lady on the counter was quick with delivery and friendly. They have a ton of healthy middle eastern options and you can ask to try samples if you are interested in any of the dishes. read more

I have to bump up my original review to 5 stars. This spot is now my go-to for Mediterranean food. I end up picking a bunch of different salads out and then eating them over the course of the day. My favorites: - mujadara (made with bulgar instead of rice and just packed with flavor and nutrient dense) - hummus - baba ganouj - mnazilet badhinjan (chickpeas and eggplant in a tomato stew - this one has me going back for more each time!) - quinoa tabouli (they have so many tabouli options, but this is the one I stick with) I had the pistachio baklava for the first time today and it was excellent and just a bit on the savory side. The best part is something I realized today - they open at 8am! I had all of the above for breakfast (and a leftovers for lunch). Yum. read more

I really wish I could give a star-review as good as the last, but unfortunately, no. To start, when I walked up to the counter ready to order and asked, "Is this is where I order?", whomever was manning the counter and preparing orders coldly directed me to the other side to order instead. At least that's what I think was said; it was garbled at best. The only problem was no one was on the other side. As I waited, more patrons came up to the counter, at which time he looks at a white man and says, "Can I help you?" The man gave him his order and as the worker walked away, I called after, "Excuse me, can you tell me where to order?" You can make your own inferences about that exchange. Anyway, maybe it was the indignation in my raised voice, but a smiling woman then appeared to take my order. She was sweet and apologetic of having me wait, but that experience had already left a sour taste. Finally, the falafel sandwich itself, unlike the last time I was here, was nothing to rave about. The pita wasn't soft and the falafel was falling apart instead of fully formed. Other elements of the sandwich were cold. There are some other falafel spots I trust in Philly at this point, so I won't be venturing to Ardmore for this. Not for the premium price, that's for sure! The sandwich was almost $12 after the 3% fee for card (insult to injury). read more

Although I reside in Miami, I am in Philadelphia often to visit family. I love the Ardmore Farmers Market and especially the Tabouli Middle Eastern spot. I wouldn't really describe it as a restaurant, but the takeout salads and prepared foods are fantastic. The service is also excellent. I went there the day before Thanksgiving and picked up lentil soup, falafel ( which they cook while you wait), baba ganoush, pita chips, and tabouli. Everything was delicious. John Kozyak read more

Tabouli Cuisine is located inside of Ardmore's Farmers Market. Moe suggested his favorite traditional dishes- I'm here for it! I tried most of the salads. The Mujadara, Grape Leaf Dolma, and Tabouli Bulgur were fresh and tasty. Great spot! read more

Came here for lunch. It's located inside the market. Just order out take out style. I tried their Kofta sandwich and was disappointed. Kofta is usually minced meat that's rolled into a roll and grilled. Their version is minced meat but almost tasted raw and was just in the sandwich. Did not find it tasty, sadly. Their other offerings looked good, though. However, I did not get to try them. read more

Falafel was just dry and lacking in flavor. not enough filling. We went back for a side of tabouleh to add to our falafels which was also IMO mediocre. Pita was good. I prefer any halal, cart falafel, Solmonov zahav spin off or even an Aldi gyro kit, hands down any day. read more

What a nice gem, tucked away in the Ardmore Farmers market. The chicken shawarma pita is simply delicious. Everything is fresh- pita, red onion, spicy sauce and the chicken is perfect. The M'hamara is among the best things I have ever tasted. I've tried a lot of places loosely billed some combination of Mediterranean/Greek. Most really don't rate. This place, for me, is tops in the area. read more

This place is my go-to for meals I can just stick in the fridge and eat throughout the week. I'm gluten free and vegetarian and still have so many options here. Their falafel is GF unlike most other places that use fillers. My fav is the pomegranate tabouli but they tend to run out of it by the end of the day. read more

I WAS shopping here..OFTEN. Not anymore. I met the owner unfortunately and he got irritated that I didn't want one of my small containers filled all the way (like his staff has done for me in the past) and he was really irritated with me. He got a big tone with me and started complaining about price of plastic and he loses money asking if I understood he was losing money. He should've directed his orders to his staff and not the customer. I haven't and won't be back. read more

We just paid $5 for a single small kibbeh! Falafel and chicken wraps were basically salad and little meat and falafel. Hummus had absolutely NO flavor. Hummus is so hard to mess up in a middle eastern restaurant but this place did it. There are many middle eastern restaurants in the area that are great, and have better quality food at better prices. Stay away from Tabouli. read more

Stumbled upon this place inside the Farmers Market space in Ardmore. All of the food in the case looked amazing and after browsing the yelp reviews real quick, we decided to get our sandwiches here. I got the falafel sandwich and my boyfriend got the chicken schwarma sandwich. All sandwiches are served with hummus, tahini, lettuce, tomato, onion, cucumber and red cabbage. Oh my god--these sandwhiches were AMAZING. I eat a lot falafel throughout the city and this was one of the best sandwiches I've had in a while. Minus one star for a sassy counter-boy. But the food was so good that I didn't even care. Next time I come back, I will definitely get some of the dishes from the case. Huge variety and tons of vegetarian options! read more

Tabouli is an outstanding place to go and hangout and eat to your hearts content. From their Vegetable salad to their Zucchini Latkas, oh my god and how delicious is this food. Everything that they make is off the charts fantastic. All I can really say and I'm a serious foodie is WOW! You are obviously shopping at The Ardmore Market looking for something that will make your heart glow with complete delight, well you have found it at Tabouli. This is the place you wanna go for the best middle Eastern food in the philly area. The variety of authentic dishes is not available anywhere else ! So unique healthy and delicious! Their hummus is real and made from scratch and so creamy and delicious and once you eat it you become addicted and can't eat the supermarket ones. Falafel is made and rolled in front of customers so yummy and huge that you cannot finish the sandwich. The owner is the chef and she is a sweet lady who cares about her customers and what they eat. You have to try the place and you will always come back there ! Best place! read more

This is a relatively new addition to the Ardmore "Farmer's Market"- it's in the corner where the old pizza place was. Everything I've had so far has been so tasty and fresh. I usually have a hard time deciding on something. Lots of options for both carnivores and vegetarians, which is nice. The stuffed peppers and za'atar bread are wonderful, as are the roasted veggies. They can make you fresh falafel be request, it takes 5 minutes. There's also a family weekday dinner menu- call ahead and pick up on your way home! Check out my photo for the options. This is hands down my favorite place to get food on the Main Line. Tucked away in a corner of the Ardmore Farmers Market this place is a hidden gem. If you're looking for lunch I highly recommend the falafel pita. The falafel is made to order and the veggies are always super fresh. The sandwich is incredibly flavorful with a great texture, something that many falafel sandwiches never quite achieve. Additionally, the salads and pre-made foods are always delicious and fresh. I often get a few sides and some beef pies for meals throughout the week. There are tons of vegetarian options to pick from as well. There is some seating in the farmers market but I always take my lunch to go. The service is always fast and friendly. read more

Finally a high quality place that we can use as our go-to delivery dinner with Caviar! We had a delicious dinner tonight, albeit a little bit pricy. Beef kufta, chicken shawarma, stuffed eggplant & peppers, labni, quinoa tabouli - all fantastic!! We made a mixed green salad to go with the meal and dolloped it with the delicious labni (thick creamy yogurt-tang cheese with lemon & olive oil). We will definitely be ordering again! read more

Amazing! I ordered the chicken shawarma and took home a pound of dolmas. The service was quick and friendly and the food was amazing and fresh. My shawarma was served in a pita with freshcabbage, cucumbers, other vegetables, and an incredible sauce. It's hard to find Middle Eastern take out and this place surpasses expectation. read more

A great choice if you don't need tableside service and just want to tuck into some great food after ordering it at the counter.

Wow what a great place ! All my vegetarian dishes from various cauliflower dishes to couscous and falafel in one place. Beautifully presented and looks and tastes yummy. So many varieties that I end up buying more than I need but had the dood for almost 4 days. I grabbed a shawarma for my spouse and it's not the type of shawarma you get on the street tasting like hotdog and spices, it's made from real chicken breast slowly cooked in spices for hours. He hummus is so yummy and authentic and you can eat the whole container with their home made pita chips ! Next time I will grab a falafel for lunch! BEST HUMMUS and BABA GANUSH so fresh and delicious with no preservative made right in the store daily. The Falafel is amazing! I tried other falafel in Philly but I think this is the only one tastes like you are in Israel!
