We have a double pane window with spacers between the panes where decorative cross pieces are attached to the outside. One of the spacers was hanging loose and looked awful. To fix the problem we needed to have a new double pane window installed in the wood frame and the decorative cross bits removed from the old window and mounted on the new one. Other companies would not do the job because of the wood frame. Dublin Glass said there was the possibility that the frame would get damaged (scratched/repairable) when they tried to remove the glass but if we were willing to accept the risk they would do the job. They did a beautiful job and only took a couple of days. We are very happy and highly recommend Dublin Glass. read more

I only delt with owner Mike (who came out to take measurements) and a woman by the name of Brittany (who sent out estimate) I had questions about estimate and called company and Brittany was not available. I left message for her and requested return call. Received an email from her later that day advising that she did not have time to return my call and she preferred that I email my questions....which I did. (2 questions) However she never replied and I ended up going into business directly a few days later right when they opened. Brittany advised that the owner was supposed to get back to me and apologized that he did not. Addressed my second question and at that time I requested estimates for special coating on glass and additional option. I advised that I was ready to order but needed this information so I could make decision. I received the requested information the next day November 15th at 2:40 PM. Included apology as "they were having quick books issue as they have reached our max customer storage limit and I haven't been able to type a formal estimate" She stated that she was leaving at 3 and would not be back in the office until Monday. I called at 2:50 (10 minutes after) and asked to speak with Brittney. I was put on hold and then the woman who answered the phone came back on and stated that Brittney had already left. I advised that per email Brittney had just sent me 10 minutes prior that she was going to be there until 3 and that I wanted to place my order. I was told that I had to now wait until Monday to place order. I asked to speak with owner and a message was taken......never received a return call. Using another vendor and even paying more. read more

I had a broken glass window and wanted it to get repaired. I was initially quoted 350 dollars on the phone. Mike came to our house and looked at the broken glass and said it would cost less as only part of the window is broken and does not need entire window replacement. The good thing I liked is the honesty. He took the measurement and fixed it within a week. I am glad I called them. Awesome service. I would really recommend everyone to make a call to them first before trying anywhere else. Before I called dublin glass, sears service personnel came and wanted me to replace the entire window including the frame and gave me a quote of 1535 dollars!!!, good I did not go with sears. We moved into our new house and needed 2 windows replaced as let's say the windows in the family room were something out of the 70's. The original owner was very handy throughout the house and had installed them himself. What was supposed to be an easy install with new dual pain windows became a nightmare once the original windows were removed. Mike Armienti, the owner, went right to work. You see the original owner just installed the windows between the studs. So after seeing this, with his many years experience in his craft, Mike took control of the job and was completed as promised. He told me of their experience with shower enclosures and I explained the tight budget with the extra work that needed to be done to the house and he came up with a very budget friendly enclosure that would fit our master bathroom. Amazing work and exactly what he explained. When it came down to final payment, the invoice was first quoted, without any extra charges for the nightmare in the family room windows. Great to know that there are still 'old school' contractors out there who are there to make the customer happy and not hit you up for every nickel and dime. read more

Did a massive remodel of all bathrooms and then some. Our contractor had them cut our 5 wall mirrors into 6 mirrors. One of mirror had a crooked cut. Another mirror wasn't even cut at all. We found out once the contractors tried to install it and it was too big. At the end of the 3 month remodel, we then realized we were missing one of the smaller mirrors. That was our contractor's (and probably the Dublin Glass') mistake by not double checking total # of mirrors when loading onto the truck). By that time, we just decided to buy a replacement from them rather debate the fact that 3 months ago, it wasn't included during the pick up. We paid them $50 for a new one, so it didn't break the bank. Brittany called and said to come pick it up anytime. Just went to the store on a Saturday at 10:30am and no one was there. Even though their hours say 9am-1pm right on the door. If I was a professional contractor, I would think twice about reliability. I'm sure they do great work for others and our experience with them could just be an anomaly. read more

I called them to get a measurement for a shower door installation. Somebody answered and said that they would check with the person who takes the measurement and said it would be the owner who would come down. Mike, I think was his name. He was so rude as he kept saying that he was taking measurements since 7:30 in the morning and would not answer properly. They said I would get the quote via email. After two days when I called they said that somebody else handles sending the quotes (Tiffany) and said I will get an email and they took my email down again. Never got the quote for another 2 days. Tried calling their office and no one picked up so left a voicemail. Still did not hear back so I called the following day (Friday) 3:50pm about 10 mins before closing. They said their computer is shut down and I will have to wait till next week for somebody to get back to me. When I said that I have been waiting for a quote for almost a week and a half, she said it takes 5 minutes for the computer to come back up and that she needs to go!! From their attitude it looks like they are not interested!! No point in wasting time with them! Looks like lot of folks have the same complaint! I am going to go with some other vendor! read more

We would give Dublin Glass 6 stars if we could. The team at Dublin Glass was super friendly, responsive, and professional. We had an unusual shower enclosure request. A couple of other vendors had told us what we wanted was impossible. We found Dublin Glass on Yelp and waited until they returned from the holidays. It was well worth the wait. We received a reasonable quote and Mike, the owner, came out personally to do the measurements within a week. He gave us a very thorough explanation on how our glass would be securely installed and even gave us some recommendations on improving the design. Brittany was extremely helpful and responsive to our inquiries while we waited for the manufacturer to complete the fabrication of our glass. Jason and Brian completed the installation professionally and within the time frame as promised. The result far exceeded our expectations! I really wasn't sure about the whole deal when I walked in the door... kind of set back in the corner of a strip mall on Dublin Blvd. But I just had three windows replaced today, and the installer (Daven) was a consummate professional. He explained everything very well, was friendly (far too many surly handymen out there, especially when faced with a handy-ignorant person such as myself), and got the job done much more quickly than I had expected. There wasn't a warranty written on the receipt, so he wrote one in himself. The price was right, and I would definitely go back to them for anything glass-related (except auto... they don't do that, which is fine by me). read more

One more stellar review for Dublin Glass! They were responsive to our e-mail inquiry when we asked for a piece of glass to cover our table and buffet. The prices were reasonable. The delivery guy, Rusty, did a great job. We realized that I had ordered the wrong kind of edge for the table and he spent time sanding the corners down, and also told me that I could bring the glass in and they would fix it at no extra charge (even though it was my mistake). He left some sandpaper and told me how I could take care of the edges myself, if I'd like.
