People in the office are always looking forward to these donuts. I finally stopped by yesterday morning to treat myself. It was a delightful experience from start to finish. The staff is super friendly and welcoming they greeted me with smiles. Perfect way to start the morning. All of their donuts are cake donuts, made fresh to order, and the best part is they actually dress the donuts right in front of you after you order. You get to pick your glaze, coating, and toppings, and then watch them build it on the spot it makes the whole experience fun and personal. They also have seasonal flavors that keep things exciting. I tried the cinnamon pumpkin spice and it was absolutely delicious! perfect for fall. Warm, fresh, and indulgent, you can really taste the difference. If you're looking for a fun treat with a personal touch, this is a must-visit spot. I'll definitely be back!

Warm custom donuts await you here at Duck Donuts. The counter service was friendly and the donuts are fresh. The batter is slightly savory to balance the sweet toppings. We tried the seasonal flavors. While there wasn't a distinct pumpkin flavor to the cream, there were zero complaints at the table. They also have a decent cup of coffee. The decor is cute and reminded us of Maggie Moo's.

    Variety of donuts. Yum!!

I was immediately greeted when entering the store and got my order started. All the donuts are made in house and each topping is customized to your liking. These were the freshest donuts I've ever had. I also ordered a cold brew, which was good.

Second time here and decided to pick up a dozen for co-workers! There were two nice ladies there working and did their best to service everyone, however it was a really, really long wait for donuts! It took about 30 mins from ordering to receiving them which was a really long time. There was about one other order in front of me for 2 dozen and a breakfast sandwich and after I arrived probably 3 more customers. It was a Friday morning, so not sure if that's a norm? ‍ I learned that I probably should order ahead of time to not wait that long. I will say they were fresh and delicious but that really is a a long time for donuts. Several others looked frustrated at the wait, especially those with little ones. My office enjoyed them, so that was a plus and they stayed warm till I got into Nashville. They were also on the larger size which was cool. The Maple Bacon donut was a hit and so were the French Toast and Cinnamon Roll one.

Made to order cornmeal based donuts... yes please! I think my favorite part of duck donuts is watching them go straight from the fryer to frosting and topping assembly line. We ordered a half dozen donuts; S'more donut, mint chocolate chip, bacon maple, strawberry sprinkle, Oreos and a plan sugar donut. It's hard to say which was my fave, but the mint chocolate chip and the bacon maple are top contenders. Normally I don't like bacon infused sweets, because they tend to smell like dog treats, but Duck Donuts makes their bacon fresh and made to order! The S'mores donut was also fantastic! Also, don't sleep on the iced coffee here! These donuts are a tad pricey, but you can really taste the quality. Let's get Duck Donuts in Mount Juliet, please!

Half the fun of Duck Donuts is watching your donuts being made to order.

Phenomenal, delicious, and creative donuts. You get to watch as your donuts are made to order. The great staff that is warm and friendly. I absolutely loved the Duck Donuts experience. I only wish I had known about them sooner! They have a wide variety of creative flavors for icings and toppings, including their standard Fan Favorites as well as Seasonal Flavors. All of the donuts are made fresh, so you'll get them warm and soft and gooey. It is fun watching your donuts being made, and even more fun to eat them. Just be sure to grab a few napkins, because you're going to get icing on your fingers! While the donuts are best enjoyed warm right after being made, even after they cool down they are excellent. The consistency is like an extra fluffy cake donut. Not as dense as a cake donut, but not as fluffy as a raised donut. Just a perfect balance right in between. If you like donuts, you'll love Duck Donuts. Go get an assorted dozen and share them with friends!

North Carolina-based Duck Donuts has arrived in Brentwood, the 108th American city to open one, the third location in Tennessee and first in the Midstate region. Donuts are made fresh and decorated to your specifications right in front of you, making Duck Donuts unique in that regard. These are definitely national chain donuts, rather than the gourmet experience of a mom-and-pop bakery, but wonderfully delicious nonetheless. The maple bacon is the star of the show, as Duck's version is a perfect balance of maple icing and ample bacon, while most donutries make this combination unbearably salty and/or chewy. Finally, a place that does maple bacon right! The donuts themselves are incredibly fresh and fluffy, an advantage they have over most! Not all donuts are created equal in this world, each with a different flavor and texture. Duck Donuts are akin to that classic state fair funnel cake in flavor, and like a light, airy bread in texture. They are absolutely enjoyable and very rewarding when you get a crispy bite of dough that's been cooked slightly longer! Some icings are too sweet, while others lack flavor. The blueberry pancake version is highly recommended though! Any family will enjoy these donuts, as few palates are as jaded and discerning as mine (I blame being raised by two professional chefs for that). So please go and enjoy a delicious treat! You'll love Duck Donuts!

Get the maple glaze, with bacon, and caramel on top. Thank me later

Duck Donuts is one of the few places that lets you customize a bunch of donuts, and will have them in your hand still hot in ~5 minutes. I consider myself a donut connoisseur. Thats the one breakfast food I would drive 30 minutes for to try a new place hah. I love Tiny Little Donuts, Five Daughters, Status Dough to name a few... and Duck Donuts is a top 3 on my "Donut Hierarchy" if you will. The Food: Its fun to make your donuts with a variety of choices of glaze, toppings, and drizzle and they come out piping hot just like you wish Krispy Kremes always were. My favorite has to be the maple/bacon combo, the chocolate with Oreo was a close second though. Atmosphere: There is not a ton of room to sit so prepare to take it to go, or just sit at their window where there is a few spots. Overall, I'll be coming back here when I get the chance. Its hard to beat the price and taste of Duck Donuts.

Their specialty lattes are solid; I often get the Eiffel Tower or Dulce de Leche. The Best Chocolate Bar Ever latte is a sweet chocolate caffeine fix as well. The Perch is a smaller spot with both indoor and outdoor seating, first come first served; guests order and pay at the counter, then are given a number, and food/drinks are brought to your table. Prices are not cheap, but the food and drinks are reasonable and reliable. This spot is a gem, and you never know who you'll see here. Also, I love that they do punch cards (buy 10 coffees and get 1 free, if I'm not mistaken) - even though I usually forget to bring my existing card and keep starting a new one.

I do think the food is better than that of most coffee shops, but I don't actually eat the food often. I've found the service to be good and for the staff to be friendly, but they only have one register, so the line may be a bit long if they are busy. It can be a bit loud, it it's a pleasant place to sit and drink coffee. The Well will normally have three pour over choices that are from their limited time offered beans. They see very fruity and flavorful, and I really enjoy that kind of coffee. They make them right where you can see them do it, and It's fun to watch the process. I've often come to try the pour over only to later buy a bag of beans for home. When you do, you get a free 12 ounce drip coffee. However, to be honest, the drip offerings seem rather mediocre to me. I would not go there to buy the batch drip coffee. I do know they have a good cappuccino, though. I debated lowering the rating when I thought about their main medium roast blend on drip - Confluence. They had a blend of Ethiopian and Kenyan beans, and it was some of the best coffee I ever had. Now, they've rotated to a blend of beans from Ethiopia and New Guinea. I bought a bag thinking it would be similar to what I had before, but it just wasn't anywhere near as good, unless you brew it as espresso. However, it's really the pour over that I drink here, so I'm keeping the eating at five stars.

The most unique seasonal coffee menu item is the fygge newton - I order mine with almond milk which is perfectly sweet and nutty.

It's in a small shopping center at the north limits of the Crieve Hall neighborhood. You can normally find a parking spot in the lot or if you know someone in the neighborhood, walking is an option too. Walk in and order at the counter. Be sure to check the available bagels that day AND any specials, especially the cinnamon bun special. Every time I have been, the staff has been extremely helpful as you navigate the choices. (note - there is a separate window outside to pickup online orders, delivery orders etc. so that helps with inside congestion). There is almost always a line but it moves quickly. On my last visit, they had just completed the March Madness bracket and were featuring the Cheddar bagel with chive cream cheese- $1. As I said, always check the special! They will feature some interesting coffees, bagels varieties and let's talk about the Cinnamon Roll. The first time I sampled the Cinnamon Roll special it was a blueberry pancake version, imagine an amazing cinnamon roll(yes, it's sweet but not overly and has great flavor), with blueberries and cream on top! The only downside is they are very large, but that means you get one to share with your people. Their bagels are really good! You can eat them plain or get some spread for them. (note that bulk bagel orders are not sliced). They also have breakfast sandwiches. To top it off, this has the feel of a real neighborhood spot. Plenty of folks greeting each other, friends connecting, families gathering. Indoor seating with books for the wee folks and some outdoor tables too.
