Crack in the form of donuts!

Donuts were out of this world! Guy who took my order had an AirPod in one ear and wasn't the most personable. Bathroom looked disgusting too! As far as the quality of the donuts - it was amazing!!

I have not been to Duck in a while, my diet won't let me, but today i went by to get a dozen for some friends and I couldn't help myself. They are just absolutely, without hesitation, the BEST donuts in Northern Virginia. Unlike the rather dry and inedible Duncan, the folks at Duck Donuts make them FRESH right in front of you. Not over some long conveyor belt, but one at a time. The freshest donuts you will ever have.

They call this "coconut island bliss?"

Me again, and yes, I will contact you via the website link previously provided. I was in today, Sat 1/24 to give it another chance at 10:15am-ish... First and foremost, your new-ish employee, gentleman with the long hair, should be the lead- he presented amazing work ethic and customer care. The other two gentlemen could really care less from what I saw during my visit. The one with long hair recognized immediately that I wanted to pay cash and not use the touchscreen.... I ordered two coffees and two donuts. He started to get the coffees- it seemed there wasn't any, he brewed more after I helped find the ground coffee. One of the other gentlemen working suggested he just give me the cold coffee from one coffee vat... within earshot of me... also made a rude comment to the new guy "yeah- we all get paid to stand around and do nothing" because he was waiting for the coffee to start to brew... Again- visit took 20minutes to get two donuts... one of which was the "coconut island bliss"... I didn't look in the box before leaving... get to where i was going to find a chocolate donut with a considerable amount of peanuts and about 50 individual shreds of coconut, if that... hello, I didn't request a chocolate donut with peanuts and a sprinkle of coconut.... order #31

Amazing, creative cake donuts. Prepared fresh in front of you. Everyone is helpful, patient and make good suggestions if you can't decide. Consistently great service over the years. If you want to pick up donuts for the office or for an event, this is THE PLACE to get them from!

Man do I just love duck donuts! I mean twice in 1 week speaks volume lol the donuts served warm melt in your mouth. They have a different flavor for every taste you have in mind. The service is always pleasant even when they have that afternoon rush. If you haven't had a duck donut before I highly recommend. Do a search to your nearest they are all over the dmv.

2/12/23 Sabrina (if this is the manager I met) was polite, but not openly friendly. For the most part, I was in an out and that is about all that happened. I picked up two drinks for my wife and I that came to $4.50. This should be some good Gatorade. Ordering on line was an experience. My wife got her orders right, but my orders were missing an ingredient for 3 orders of donuts after I had already selected them. Oh well. Problem fixed and I now have the Donuts in my car. Time to go home and eat. Duck Donuts is really starting to spread its wings around Virginia. Guess we will see how big they get.

Wow, so many choices which made our decision difficult. Well, we ended up getting a dozen when we were just going to get half a dozen. All were gone by day's end! Donuts were freshly made and hot/warm. You can build your own or just choose from the extensive menu. Chocolate ones were my favorite and there were the Fall seasonal flavors. I didn't think the bacon donuts would be good but my friends loved it. Staff was super friendly! Service was quick despite they were made on demand. Donuts were not super sweet which was good. Perfect treats to bring for a party or gathering. Definitely worth the calories!

My family was specifically excited about the new Reese's donuts but I get home and... no Reese's on our order. What's going on guys? Way to put a damper on our Saturday.

Ordered the Duck Dozen for my son's birthday party and they were delicious and aesthetically pleasing. Service was friendly and fast.

It was unbelievably soft, airy and pillowy - not dry at all and basically melted in my mouth! The glaze was fantastic, as well. I like that they fill donuts fresh in the store when you order, too. I wish the company would improve their iced coffee options. It seemed a bit average and simple for a store with great branding. I stopped by because I really wanted the Krispy Kreme knock-off. I did end up ordering this (no picture because I ate it before I could take a picture). I have mixed feelings about that donut--I think that I would have enjoyed it more if they HADN'T told me they were trying to make a krispy Kreme donut. The glaze was quite similar to Krispy Kreme donuts, but I was hoping for something with the lightness of a classic yeast donut. For me, that lightness is what making Krispy Kreme donuts so good, but this donut was much more similar to a cake donut. Dense, crunchy, though freshly fried. Not bad! But definitely not Krispy Kreme, which was what I thought I was getting. What I DID love, however, was their pop tart pastry. We got a berry poptart, and it was scrumptious! Donuts are decent too, have some fluffiness. If you aren't vegan though... don't buy the bread. It was so horribly disappointing. It wasn't even edible. Tasted like blue cheese. We threw it away. Cinnamon cake is meh, you can make it better with a mix from grocery store. Cakes and cookies were just ok. It also feels a little weird venturing to a college campus into the bakery, it's not convenient unless you're a college student. But those pop tarts are to die for!

However, I love the decoration, the customer service and the extensive menu, which is the reason for the 4 stars. I originally stopped by to eye the menu and plan my post-lunch coffee-time dessert. I let the barista know that I'll be returning but will order something simple. She suggested the cortado and I said yes immediately, and asked for iced. It was perfectly strong and not watered down. Fast forward a few hours, I returned as promised and she remembered me. We decided to order 2 mochi donuts and a few drinks: -chocolate and cinnamon/sugar donuts -red velvet latte -hazelnut latte -regular latte One thing to note is that she couldn't really describe the drinks. For example, I asked her if the red velvet latte tastes like chocolate or just sugary (since it's basically red-dyed chocolate) and she had no idea. I asked her what are the top drinks (besides what was shown on the board) and she couldn't answer that. But she was friendly. The donuts tasted a little stale and the chocolate frosting was definitely a little too hard. The cinnamon toast crunch was a cute touch to the donut, but again was stale. I wasn't a fan of the red velvet latte, it was pure sugar and aside from the intense pink color didn't taste the way I expected a red velvet cake to taste (most likely because the cream cheese is important to the flavor). The decoration and swag for purchase are all show-stoppers, perfect for photo ops or even social media. They have a cute little photo booth inside as well. There is plenty of seating available. I can't say that I'd return as I'm not a big mall person and wasn't too terribly impressed with the donuts.
