The displays with donuts were mostly empty except with a select few still left over. It's cool that they offer both yeast and cake donuts to choose from. I ended up getting a half dozen with red velvet frosted, cherry glazed, regular glazed, lemon filled jelly donut, and two more that I can't recall. And I got this interesting chocolate milk that had a good amount of protein in it too. Donuts and milk! The donuts tasted pretty good. A good combination of airiness and fluffy and seemed to be fully cooked through. That lemon filled jelly donut was pretty hefty too; definitely one of the heaviest donuts I've ever had...lol As I was checking out, the lady behind the counter informed me this particular store has been going strong for more than 40 years, which is damn impressive!! I'll definitely be coming back here for more delicious donuts!

That should have warned us. We bought a couple of donuts & took them on the road back home with us. They were not fresh & did not taste good. I tried around half & threw it away. We will not go there again. I have had store bought donuts that were great & fresh. The donuts seemed as if they were there for a couple of days. So, we won't go back.
