Oh my goodness. I stopped to grab coffee at Starbucks and thought I would take a peek in here while waiting. $85 later I was in heaven and cannot wait to go back. They have meals in the freezer to take home, meals ready to eat, a case of food to eat in store for lunch and dessert to die for. I don't snap any pics inside the store as I was not prepared for how amazing it was going to be. I tried the turkey(?) and goat cheese sandwich toasted. , the risotto cake, shrimp, green goddess dressing and a pasta salad ( I can't member the name of now). The winning item was the vanilla bean cheesecake. It was incredibly smooth and perfect flavoring. I cannot wait to go back. The service was great. The clerk was helpful and had great suggestions. It's pretty overpriced for the quality of food I expect better. I used to come here to also buy fresh romaine lettuce but lately the quality control has gone downhill. The past few times the lettuce wasn't fresh. I haven't tried their specials yet but they have different specials M-F I believe. I think it's worth a shot because the ambiance of the store is pretty nice. I just wish they'd check for quality more and also lower the price per lb for their foods. First time coming here with my girlfriend and we weren't sure where to start or how to place an order. We took time to look around and picked out items. We got confused on how it worked but the employee, Kayla, was extremely kind and patient while we figured it out. The service we got here was extraordinary. They even brought self-serve water to our table unexpectedly which was super super appreciated. Now for the food. Absolutely delicious. Oven roasted chicken with goat cheese sandwich. Love the freshness from the arugula and the chicken isn't dry at all. It is a bit greasy but not heavy from it. The focaccia was crispy (got it toasted) but didn't have much bread flavor, but was a nice texture. Went during ~10am on a weekend and it wasn't busy. Eat in, take out, grab a bite- just about a variety of options for any day or anyone. I personally just love grabbing the bakes or the desserts such as raspberry cheesecake. I love Pasta & Co so much! I was in bellevue do do some shopping at Bellevue Square mall and I saw this location as I was walking there. I got super excited and I just had to check it out. I tried the Penne Smoked Flagship and its my all time favorite. They also have these all natural berry flavored sparkling waters on stock, its off-shelf and so I grabbed one and it was super good. The staff was super sweet, their opinions were thoughtful and they were just great honestly. I really love this location. its super convenient and staff does very well to maintain cleanliness. They are all good, but the pear is my favorite. There are also many different sauces to choose from. Since I have enjoyed all that I have tried I recommend getting the combo that sounds best to you. The pasta cooks quickly and all you need is a pot and salt. For about 20-25 Dollars I feed my family a fresh and delicious dinner and it all takes less then 15 minutes to prepare. Not only are all the ingredients home made, fresh, and overall healthy but the store is catered by excellent staff who are knowledgeable about all the products that they host. The store is littered with post modern Italian decor giving the store an very chill ambiance. Yesterday I came in to Pasta & Co and bought a pound of rigatoni, gnocchi, two pints of bolognese sauce, two pints of marinara sauce, and shredded parmesan. I ended up cooking spaghetti bologonese with the rigatoni and sauce that I had bought; everything took me less than ten minuets to make, and my meal was delectable! I like that they have a little bit of everything so you're not really forced to eat pasta ( who would ever complain about this though!?). I love that they have a freezer section with tons of Beechers products. They also sell canned pasta sauces, olive oil, snacks, etc. They have got it all covered! If you're in a pinch for time and need to buy some side dishes for a dinner party, this is your one stop shop. You can even buy dessert! The staff is always very nice and accommodating and are very quick to get you your food. There are a few seats outside to enjoy your lunch on a nice sunny day or you can opt to sit inside as well. This is a review regarding service not about the food. Yelp has the business opening at 9 am on Sunday. I was in front of the business at 9:06. I needed to get some emergency pasta salad for a birthday party that we're hosting for our daughter that morning. One of the service members opened a small window on the side and mentioned that they actually open at 10 am. I mentioned the yelp hours and he just said that he will look into it. I asked if I can purchase some salad since it's already premade but he rudely said NO and shut the window really quickly. It was quite the rude encounter. Anytime I want to feel like an accomplished chef, I go down to Pasta & Company and pick up ingredients for my inspired Italian dishes. Part of the reason why I choose to shop for my ingredients specifically at Pasta & Co is because of how healthy, fresh, and high-quality they are. The other day I can in and purchased one pound of Bolognese sauce, two half pints of garlic marinara sauce, herb rub, mozzarella cheese, shredded parmesan cheese, and two pizza doughs. Later that night with the ingredients I made a bolognese sauce pizza, with spicy garlic marinara sauce, and herb rub. I also cooked up some meatballs which I topped the pizza off with additional pepperoni as well as mozzarella, cheese, shredded parmesan cheese, and finally topped with ricotta! It only took 15 minutes to cook in the oven and it was worth the effort and small wait. Every bite of the homemade pizza was delicious, it felt as if I had just ordered an expensive pizza from a restaurant. I always enjoy buying food from Pasta & Co and l look forward to coming back next time! read more

The Twitterverse. I am slowly getting into this. It is a bit like Facebook, but not as personal. It feels you can be a bit more forthcoming tweeting to an audience more likely to be of people you have never met personally in your life. Twitter is more voyeurisitic. Case in point, after what was just four weeks ago (seems like ages) that the Seahawks won a big playoff game over the Saints, I happened to come upon Matt Hasselbeck's Twitter page. One of those tweets was about a sandwich at Pasta & Co. which piqued my interest. Since I was in downtown Bellevue yesterday before the Super Bowl started, I thought it fitting to try @hasselbeck's sandwich suggestion. The store is right across from Bellevue Square and QFC. Pasta & Co. is best described as a specialty foods market and deli. Everything is gourmet here. The company is a sibling business of Beecher's, so you can find their selection of cheeses here. They also have a selection of frozen entrees including the mac & cheese as well as several yummy frozen desserts. The deli section includes desserts, pasta, salads, entrees, prepared vegetables, meats, soups and the aforementioned sandwiches. There are I believe maybe 4 or 5 sandwiches which are $8.25 each. So taking @hasselbeck's suggestion, I tried the Ted Danson (named after the actor?), which is a turkey sandwich with cranberry dressing on a brioche roll. I did also pick up a penne pasta salad with mozzarella ($9.95/lb.) as a side. Overall, I thought the sandwich was good but not great. The brioche roll was decent, though I probably should have eaten it right away instead of saving it for lunch the next day because it seems to have lost some softness. The turkey and cranberry dressing stood out the most of this sandwich. The salad was nice, but nothing I have not seen elsewhere. Whole Foods has a similar salad and of the same quality. I did think the dressing was a little much. The pricing here is a little high, partially I assume due to the location. Probably $1-2 dollars more than they should be. I would think that since Beecher's is a sibling company that the pricing on their products would be more competitive but they are not. Pasta & Co. has quality food offerings, but you will pay the price for them. read more

I stopped in to pick up some lunch because I was short on time and since I passed pasta & co all the time but never had an opportunity to check it out, I figured now was the better than ever. First of all, the selection of pasta will overwhelm you. In a good way. I ordered half a pound of the house pasta with the smoked cheese and spinach. It was delicious. There was more cheese than there was pasta (good or bad, you decide). I also grabbed one of the chocolate truffle cookies...so good and so rich. I wish it had been chewy and not crispy though (I love a chewy cookie more than anything). All in all, I had a great first experience here! read more

Maybe I'm just not a cold pasta guy. I can see why people would like this place though, pasta selections galore, and their own mini market for you to get your own pastas and sauces. I came here on a Friday morning and it wasn't too busy. I needed a quick bite, so I decided to get a small container of 3 different pastas as well as a fried rice ball. The pastas were okay, but personally, I can make my own pasta salad that has much more flavor. However, the pastas would be great on a hot summer day when you need a nice refreshing, savory bite. The rice ball was also mediocre. I think I was expecting it to be like Arancini, where the hot cheese pulls apart while being nestled inside a creamy risotto. Unfortunately, the rice's flavor was tomato-based and because it was cold, no hot oozy cheese to be found. I also found my whole to order to be pretty expensive, about $20. You're definitely paying for the quality here though. I think I'd come back to purchase some of their hand-made pastas to use myself, rather than to buy their already made pasta dishes. read more

Considering that the mall itself has very little food options (no food court!), this is definitely one of the better eatery options around here. The food is NOT cheap though. A small sandwich will run you upwards of $10+. There are a lot of sides that you can pick but their prices per pound seem kind of outrageous. I had the proscuitto sandwich and it was pretty good. The bread was chewy. They even threw in a small size of macaroni pasta salad. It was good. However, I don't eat that much in general so the portion size, while small, filled me up, but I think this would not be enough food for most folks. It's hard to believe I've lived in Bellevue for years and hadn't tried this place before. I think the name "Pasta & Co." threw me off because I assumed it was just Italian pasta and that's it. It is so much more! There is a huge deli with all types of delicious healthy meats, salads, and vegetables. You pick out the portions you like and they serve you on one plate. They heat up whatever you want. The food is phenomenal. Very clean eating but also super flavorful. You will feel good afterward. I highly recommend you try it some time!
